"So, you're telling me that some hot volleyball captain gave you his number at this practice match and you haven't texted him?" Hana asked in shock.
You had decided to tell her about Kuroo because she would have found out eventually and it probably would have been worse if you hadn't told her sooner rather than later.
"What am I supposed to text him about? He just told me to keep him updated" you explained.
"Updated about what?" she asked as she leant on the side of your bed.
"Ummm, well we were talking about me and Tadashi..." you trailed off, immediately regretting what you had said.
"Wait. So, you're telling me that the captain of this volleyball team from another school in Tokyo told you to keep him updated on your relationship with Yamaguchi? Oh, my goodness. It seems that the two of you must be soulmates if even he ships it!" Hana snatched your phone out of your and began aggressively tapping on the screen.
"Hana, what are you doing?" you asked nervously, she was planning something, and you knew that you weren't going to like it.
"I just texted this Kuroo guy my number so we can talk about...stuff" she said before quickly flashing a smile at you.
"Stuff?" you asked suspiciously.
"Yeah, stuff"
You sighed and grabbed your phone back off her and looked at the screen.

You: Hey this is (Y/N)'s friend Hana Nakamura do you think you could text me? I have the inside scoop on the ship if you know what I mean 😏 my number is xx xxxx xxxxxx
"Hana why would you text him that, I haven't even texted him yet now this just looks weird, and you know there's nothing like that between me and Tadashi" you sighed, you were getting bored of repeating the same thing over and over.
"You keep telling yourself that (Y/N)and maybe one day it will be true," she sighed.
Then her phone went off.
"Ooo, looks like I got a text from a certain captain" she said happily as she unlocked her phone.
"Wait no Hana don't tell him anything!" you said quickly but you knew it was probably already too late.
Hana was rapidly tapping away and then her finger hit the screen for the last time.
"Oops too late now" she said, confirming your suspicions.
You groaned and picked up your own phone from your bed and clicked on your most recent contact.

You: Hey please don't listen to anything Hana tells you, there's nothing between me and Tadashi
Kuroo🐱🏐: so you finally decided to text me back and I don't remember saying anything about that kid
You face palmed, great they had backed you into a corner.
You: forget I said anything

You: I didn't admit anything

You: I didn't so you can keep quiet

You: yes now leave me alone

You: go and text Hana I'm sure she's willing to give you all the information you want
Kuroo🐱🏐: you're not wrong but I wanna talk to you right now
You: why can't you go and play volleyball with that Kenma guy
Kuroo🐱🏐: Kenma never wants to play volleyball and this is much more interesting right now
You: why do you care anyways
Kuroo🐱🏐: whenever I see a pair of young people who are so clearly in love with each other I feel that is my duty to bring them closer together in whatever way I can
You: Tadashi and I aren't in love
Kuroo🐱🏐: but that bald guy said you kissed him
"(Y/N) YOU KISSED YAMAGUCHI?" Hana screamed.
"WHY ARE YOU READING MY TEXTS?" you screamed back as you turned around to face her.
"That's not important right now, you kissed Yamaguchi and you didn't tell me?" she asked you a little sadly.
"I didn't like kiss him kiss him, it was only on the nose because he needed cheering up," you blushed as you remembered the incident.
"But you still kissed him, and you didn't tell me, I can't believe I trusted you (Y/N)!" she exclaimed as she began to shake you dramatically.
You rolled your eyes as her shaking died down, "its not important, it didn't mean anything were just friends."
Hana pouted and began tapping away at her phone again, probably texting her new partner in crime, Kuroo. They were going to give you hell about Yamaguchi and you were not looking forward to it. You turned your attention back to your phone.
You: that's nothing you can prove
Kuroo🐱🏐: but it came straight from your boyfriend's mouth did it not?
You: he's not my boyfriend
Kuroo🐱🏐: not yet
You: and what are you gonna do about it
Kuroo🐱🏐: I'm gonna help get you guys together and then you'll have to invite me to your wedding and I'll get some free cake, do you think you could make it chocolate, I quite like chocolate cake
You: you're putting me through all this just so you can get some free cake at the end of it

You: how about the next time I see you I'll buy you some cake and you leave me alone
Kuroo🐱🏐: I like the sound of that, but wedding cake is far superior so sorry but that's not gonna happen
You: I hate you

You groaned internally, why had you accepted his number? It was probably just because you were a little intimidated by him but still.
"Hey, (Y/N) I need to go now," Hana said.
"What? Oh, bye then," you said quietly as you stared out the window.
"Wow, can't you act even a little sad that I have to leave?" she frowned at you.
You snapped out of your thoughts.
"Oh, sorry Hana I was just zoning out a little" you said apologetically.
Hana giggled and then hugged you, you sunk into her hug and she whispered into the folds of your clothes "I'll miss you."
"Hana, you're going to see me tomorrow we have school, remember?" you reminded her.
Hana pulled out of the hug and laughed.
"I know that silly I just get really bored and lonely without you y'know not everyone has a best friend that can just come through their window at any time to keep them company!"
"I guess you're right," you said thoughtfully.
"Well see you tomorrow," Hana waved as she walked out of your bedroom door.
Wow (Y/N) you are a really lucky person, I mean you get to have Kuroo's number?! I am extremely jealous of you rn. Also, Hana and Kuroo being friends? That is most definitely a dangerous combination for you. I didn't really know what emojis to use tbh so ummm yeah.
Also I didn't mention this before but please don't read someone's messages and take their phone like Hana it's a huge invasion of their privacy.
