—(Y/n) POV—
I was outside the castle with Bow Entrapta Adora the annoying horse and some old dude
"Stay here king Micah, the sorcerers guild is on their way to help protect bright moon, I promise your majesty, we'll bring Glimmer home to you" Adora says
'I thought Glimmers dad was dead? I guess not'
"Swift Wind take Bow and Entrapta to the Fright zone, find Glimmer, we can still stop this and (Y/n) please stay here where I know you'll be safe" Adora says
I nod and I'm 100% confused about everything
"What are you going to do?" Bow asks
"I'm going to the crystal castle, I have to keep Light Hope from activating the heart of Etheria. For the honour of grayskull" Adora says
Adora transforms into She-ra and runs off
"Can I come to the Fright Zone, I have loads of experience escaping there" I say
"The more the merrier" the annoying horse says
Bow nods and we get on the horse
"What's your name?" I ask
"It's Swift Wind and I am She-Ras Nobel steed" the annoying horse says
We fly through the air to get to the one place I swore to never go to again
—3rd person POV—
Double Trouble decided to give Catra a vibe check by transforming into her abusers and bosses and the people she hurt and the people she loves
"It took a while but I think I finally figured out your character" Double Trouble says
Double Trouble transforms into Catra
"You try so hard to play the "Big Bad Villain" but your heart has never been it has it?" Double Trouble as Catra asks
"Huh what? stop! Stop it" Catra says
Double Trouble grabs Catras wrist
"People have hurt you haven't they?" Double Trouble as Catra asks
Double Trouble transforms into Shadow Weaver
"They didn't believe in you" Double Trouble as Shadow Weaver says
Double Trouble transforms into Hordak
"Didn't trust you" Double Trouble as Hordak says
Double Trouble transforms into Adora
"Didn't need you, left you" Double Trouble as Adora says
Catra falls down and Double Trouble transforms back into themselves
"But did you ever stop to think they're not the problem" Double Trouble says
Double Trouble transforms into Scorpia
"It's you, you drive them away Wild Cat" Double Trouble as Scorpia says
Double Trouble transforms into (Y/n) that is all bloody and broken
"You hurt them and try to hold on to them but they slip away" Double Trouble as (Y/n) says
"Why are you doing this?" Catra asks nearly in tears
"It's for your own good, darling, we both know this is what you never really wanted, but it was also a good distraction, your army was ambushed on their way to a "defenceless" bright moon. Your face right now is almost better than applause. Almost" Double Trouble says
"You betrayed me" Catra says
Double Trouble leaves Catra
Catra realizes how many people she hurt and she knows now that (Y/n) is never coming back
Catra fucked up
And she doesn't even blame anyone else for this
—(Y/n) POV—
We fly through the sky and I love it even though I might have to face Catra again I'm just savouring this
I remember when I was 7, a few months after I escaped the horde, my best friend Hiccup introduced me to a book series called "How To Train Your Dragon" where a boy called Jay Baruchel finds a dragon with a half of a tail fin and Jay trains it and flies on him
I remember wanting to try to fix the skiff so we could feel what it's like to fly on something
Anyways
We fly through the sky
We see some weird lights coming from the ground
Swift Wind crashes and we all fall off
"Are you ok?" Bow asks
"I don't know, it's too much" the annoying horse says
Purple light surrounds us all and it's like the portal thing
"What the fuck" I say
"Entrapta what's happening?" Bow asks
"It's a portal, a big portal, with the planet balanced, portal capabilities must be back online, we're getting pulled through" Entrapta says
"Through to where?" Bow asks
"What the actual fuck is going on?" I ask
Suddenly these beautiful lights are in the sky and it's amazing
"It's. Stars" Bow and Entrapta say
"We're not in despondos anymore, we're in the wider universe" Entrapta says
"I need to find Glimmer" Bow says
I stay with Entrapta
"So what is going on?" I ask
Entrapta explains about the heart of Etheria or hoe for short and explained everything that just happened
"Wow that is wow" I say
"Yeah it's crazy and it's science!" Entrapta says
"What was Beast Island like?" I ask
"Incredible" Entrapta squeals
Entrapta goes on a rant about how amazing it was
"Catra I think, regret what she did to you" I say
"What makes you say that?" Entrapta asks
"Anytime someone brought up your name, Catra would get mad and hiss and when we were sleeping she kept saying your name" I say
Entrapta looks at me confused and I smile
"What happened to your face? it's more scratched up than normal" Entrapta asks
I touch my face and gently trace the cuts
"Catra happened" I say
"I don't understand" Entrapta says
"Catra did this to me and I don't know why" I say
"Ohhhhh" Entrapta says
I try to walk but it's painful and I have to limp
"You have a leg injury" Entrapta says
"Catra broke it and Adora healed it" I say
"Ohhhhh. Can I see? For science?" Entrapta asks
"Just be gentle please" I say
Entrapta lifts my pant leg up and there's a giant bruise and it's covered in cuts
'Catra. What. The. Fuck'
I pull my pant leg back down and I smile
The annoying horse calledSwift Wind gets up
"Ugh what happened?" Swift Wind asks
"A lot, come on let's get back to Bright Moon" I say
We get on Swift Wind and we fly back to Bright Moon and I hope Adora isn't mad that I kind of disobeyed her. But in my defence I had a some what of a good reason
We arrive back and Adora is already there and she has her hair down
'Woah she's....hair down....woah'
"Guys" I say and I get off of Swift Wind and I try to walk over but surprise surprise I limp
Adora immediately hugs me tightly and I hug back
"You ok?" I ask
"Horde Prime is here" Adora says and holds me tighter
"Adora you're suffocating me" I say
Adora lets go but still keeps her hand on my shoulder
"We have to find a safe place to hide" Adora says
We all walk inside and I'm a bit slower because of my leg
Adora looks back at me and walks over to me and puts my arm around her shoulders to help me walk
We walk into her room and gets me to sit on a chair and she ties her hair back up and she starts packing a bag
"So we're going into hiding?" I ask
"Yes, I'll explain everything later" Adora says
"Entrapta already did" I say
"Good, do you have any other clothes?" Adora asks
"No" I say
"You can borrow some of mine then" Adora says
"Adora, you're at least foot taller then me and I can just go to Berk-" I say
"No! (Y/n). You can't! Horde Prime is coming and I'm not just going to let you go back to Berk where it isn't safe!" Adora says sternly and clenches her fist
I flinch a bit because of how much it reminded me of how Catra would yell at me and I was a bit nervous that Adora would hurt me
I want to trust her not to hurt me, but I can't
We've hurt each other a lot and I will spend the rest of my life apologizing for all of it
Adora's face goes from anger to worried
"(Y/n)...I-I need to keep you safe, please let me do that for you" Adora says
I nod and Adora helps me back up
"The weird yellow magic healing voodoo doll stuff healed my leg but it still hurts. Like a lot " I say
Adora looks at me confused because of what I said
"She-Ra is gone so I can't heal you anymore" Adora says
"It's ok, it'll heal on its own" I say
Adora hugs me again and helps me walk and we head outside to some place
I look at the sky and it's filled with weird ship things and Adora looks at me and pulls me forward
We arrive at some place and a shield is around it
There's tents everywhere and Bow comes up to us
"Adora, we have cots set up for me you Entrapta and (Y/n) and we can get more" Bow says
We walk to a tent and Adora lets go of me for a second and Bow helps me stand and Adora sets her bag down
"Come on (Y/n) there's a tent set up for you to" Bow says
"Ok" I say and Bow helps me walk out of the tent
"Wait!" Adora says
We turn around and Adora walks up to me
"(Y/n), can you stay with me tonight?" Adora asks
My heart races and I see Adora blush
"Yeah" I say Bow gives me to Adora and leaves the tent
Adora helps me get into bed and I move over to make space for her
Adora takes off her red jacket and boots and her white shirt and her pants and is wearing grey tank top and shorts
"If you want you can take off your shirt and pants off because it gets hot at night, especially outside" Adora says
(Was originally going to say clothes but this fandom....is just...too.....horny)
I remember the cuts and how they look and how they give me bad memories and I shake my head no
Adora lays down beside me and looks at the slight gap between us and pulls me closer
Adora gets me to lay on my right side and she lays on her left side so we're facing each other
Adora pulls me closer to her and I tuck my head under her chin and Adora puts her arm around neck and pulls me even closer
I put my hand on her waist but I immediately retract it and Adora grabs my hand puts it back on her waist
"Are you ok with this?" I ask
"Yeah, lets get some sleep" Adora says
Adora and I are friends. Us cuddling means nothing. I cuddled with Hiccup when I was younger. I cuddled with Catra and Scorpia and it meant nothing. Adora is my friend and she will always be my friend
Adora doesn't love me the way I love her
—Adora POV (ikr another POV :O )—
I love (Y/n) so much. She's just so nice to me and I'm glad she's not with Catra anymore
I finally get to sleep in the same bed as (Y/n) YES
She's so warm and I've missed her so much
She's so short and small and I love hugging her
She needs my hugs
I hope I didn't scare her earlier
She flinched and I don't want her to be scared of me
I just want her to be safe
I love her so much but I doubt she feels the same way
I want to sleep in the same bed with her every night
I've missed her a lot
"Good night (Y/n)" I say sleepily
"Good night Adora..." (Y/n) says
This means nothing, right?
We're just sleeping in the same bed as friends
—3rd person POV—
The two girls that love each other but don't know if they love them back go to sleep
(Y/n) likes cuddling with Adora more than Catra because Adora is more gentle and they cuddle each other instead of Catra holding onto (Y/n) like she's the last person alive
Adora hasn't slept in the same bed as (Y/n) for 13 years (couch doesn't count) and she's finally getting some rest
Adora hasn't been able to sleep because going in Glimmers room was too awkward at the time
(Y/n) always had Hiccup and Adora always had Catra
Adora and (Y/n) have the deepest sleep they've had in years
