"Cedric Diggory." Dumbledore shouts
Most of the Hogwarts students cheer myself included. When he told me that he wanted to put his name in the goblet of fire I only showed my support to him pushing away any worries I had of him getting injured throughout the challenges. It was no secret that people used to get injured or even dying during the Triwizard Tournament but I knew Dumbledore would try to take as many precautions as he could and there would be less chance of somebody getting injured this time round. That is what I hoped anyway.
3rd Person POV
Cedric rose from his seat beside you on the Hufflepuff table and walked out of the room to join the other champions. You had no doubt that the other two champions were extremely well thought of and excellent at spells but you not so secretly hoped that Cedric would be so much better. You were so deep in thought you did not hear Dumbledore call out a fourth name. Harry Potter had somehow become the 2nd Hogwarts Champion. Despite there normally only being 3. You left the Great Hall the moment you were dismissed and ran looking for Cedric. You found him looking both annoyed and confused in the library. He didn't pay attention to you entering the room and you took that as an advantage.
"I am so proud of you." You exclaim whilst tackling him into a hug which made him jump
"Thank you, Y/n.," He says smiling slightly
"What you thinking about?" You ask
"How Harry managed to put his name in the goblet of fire. I mean there were rules put in place to prevent this from happening. Dumbledore himself drew the age line. I just don't understand."
"And this my dear Cedric is why you are not in Ravenclaw. Wait do you mean Harry Potter he is only 14!" I exclaim after piecing together everything Cedric just said
"And this my dear Y/n is why you are not in Ravenclaw." He mimics and I lightly slap him arm
"Oh, shush I have my moments when I can be a Ravenclaw and in case you haven't realised these past 5 years but I am a Hufflepuff which is the same house as you." I say sarcastically
"Believe it or not I did notice." He laughed
"Good now come on let us not worry about how Harry got in tonight we celebrate you our Hogwarts Champion." I giggle as I link his arm with mine and together we walk out of the library and towards the common room where our house mates are awaiting our arrival to get a party in full swing.
