the usa ducks were closer than ever, and the new additions to the team were close enough to them to know about the whole slowburn
so when they had finally gotten together, it was like a mission had finally been completed
but the ducks are extra™ and everyone knows it
as a joke, jesse just tells them "damn, if they're gonna be showing the whole world their love and affection, why not make an instagram account?"
it's like their brains suddenly worked for once off the ice
they made the account as a joke at first, with the username being "allaboardthessgereau"
but, they blew up
at first they didn't reveal it was them, cause it was a joke to them,
all the other fan accounts were so confused on how the account got exclusive photos
and they never put in their names at the end of a caption or something
they had probably racked up 200 to 400 followers, including guy and connie cause they thought it was sweet, but they were completely oblivious as to who owned it as well
the team actually deleted all their pictures, although the fan accounts probably have all the photos to solve who was behind the account, and posted a picture of their team, introducing themselves and even adding onto their bio
their bio literally was just "connie and guy" / "pink is the color of love, okay?!" before they added on who specifically said the quote (plot twist: it was julie gaffney. it's also why the whole page is a pink theme) and who owned the account
"managed by none other than your team usa ducks"
connie and guy were so shook
but connie was happy for some reason
it was actually because she had more opportunities to have cute, aesthetic pictures taken
they agreed, the whole team did because they actually had learned to appreciate the art of the fangirl
but it also gave them a chance to third wheel to get those pictures and make fun of them with the captions
so it was all worth it in the end
