Anyways here we go
My name is Barry Allen, and I am the fastest man alive. To the outside world, I'm an ordinary forensic scientist. But secretly, with the help of my friends at STAR Labs, I fight crime and find other meta humans like me.
But when my daughter came back from the future to help, she changed the present. And now our world is more dangerous than ever, and I'm the only one fast enough to save it. I am the Flash.
Previously on the Flash
" Who's Cicada?" Barry asks Nora.
" You never catch him." Nora tells the team.
" This is Sherloque." Barry says.
" He's the greatest detective in all the multiverse." Sherloque says in third person.
" I'm a detective as well." Ralph says.
" I'm here to catch your killer." Sherloque says.
" So we're dealing with a meta human Jack the Ripper." Cisco says.
" In my history, he never killed Gridlock or Block. He's early." Nora says.
" Because the timeline changed." Barry says.
" Because of me." Nora says.
The day of the enlightenment
Lots of people are running around
" Guys, this is mad crazy! There, are, like, fireballs in the sky! Holy! I'm gonna get a better look!There he is! This is gonna be lit! Wait, there's two of them? Oh my god, Guys. What was that? This is cray! What is going on right now? Is the world, like, ending right now? Oh, my phone!" Spencer says as Nora saves her.
" You just saved me. You are the second speedsterwho just, like, saved the world. Can I get a Can U get a selfie?" Spencer asks Nora.
Present day 2019 Barry and Iris's loft
Iris tries to make pancakes when Nora wakes up off the couch
" What are you doing?" Nora asks as she gets off the couch.
" Oh, nothing. Go back to bed. I'm just making breakfast." Iris says as she chuckles.
" Like I could go to sleep after the smell of Jitters coffee.So, uh, I see you still know your way around a kitchen." Nora asks.
Barry comes into the living room looking rather confused.
" What's happening?" Barry asks.
" Uh, hey babe." Iris says.
" Good morning." Barry says.
" Um, I, um, was thinking that we could have breakfast together. Right? Like a family." Iris says.
" I love it." Barry says.
" Yeah." Iris says.
" Do you( Barry looks at Nora) Hi.. Do you need any help?" Barry asks.
" No, no. You guys just sit." Iris says.
" What do we have here?" Barry asks sitting down.
" Well, these are pancakes, as you can see, but I made them into little lightening bolts. Well, the batter kind of got away from me, but you see the little zigzag?" Iris asks Barry.
" No, No, no. Yeah, Yeah. I totally see it, yeah." Barry says.
" Yeah." Iris says.
" What are - what are you doing?" Iris asks Nora.
" I am just getting evidence that you make lumpy pancakes in every time period." Nora comments.
Barry clears his throat
" Let's try it out. Mmm. Lumpy, but delicious." Barry says as he eats and swallows.
" Yeah? Oh, thanks, babe." Iris says.
Iris sees the phone in Nora's hand
" I'm sorry, um, when did you When did you get a phone?"Iris asks Nora.
" Mhm-mhm. Nora suggested it. I mean, I thought it was a great idea. We're always in and out of STAR Labs, so I just You know, it'd be easier to text and call."Barry says.
" Yeah. Yeah. That totally makes sense." Iris says as she picks at the pancake furiously.
Barry then changes the subject by saying
" You guys excited to cheer me on at the charity softball game? " Barry asks.
" Softball? Shway." Nora says.
" I just hope I don't get stuck in right field this year." Barry says.
Nora's cellphone buzzes
" You, uh, gave your message out already?"Iris asks Nora.
" Yeah, just to the team and Sherloque. Actually, this text message, I think, is from him." Nora says as she shows the phone.
Barry chuckles
" I don't think he's much of texter." Barry says.
" No.He, uh, wants us to come to STAR Labs. I'm gonna get ready." Nora says.
" You haven't had anything to eat." Iris says.
Nora drinks the orange juice
" Mm. I'm not really a breakfast person." Nora says.
Iris places the fork down and sighs
" You know, I though having her here, we would finally have a chance to connect, but it's like every time we take half - a step forward, we end up taking six steps back." Iris says.
" I- I mean, don't give up. She'll come around. I have a feeling." Barry says.
" Yeah. Not if I keep making food like that. " iris says.
" Hey, no, this is really good. It is.I mean, it's a little like..." Barry says.
" Wait, wait, stop. Just stop." Iris says.
" Dark, but." Barry says.
" No, it's I'm going to make you a banana. It's fine." Iris says.
You're gonna make me a banana?" Barry asks.
" I'm gonna make you a banana." Iris says.
" Thanks." Barry says.
Later At STAR Labs the whole team is assembled
" Wait, no, I asked for everyone. Where is the little, uh." Sherloque asks.
" Cisco is laying low at his parents house while he heals up." Barry says.
" I will have a conversation with him the next time I see him. So, Team Flash. How will this handsome, master detective of all the multiverse, Sherloque Wells, pay off his debt ad catch this homicidal maniac together? Well, we'll begin by asking ourselves a few obvious questions. zHow he became a meta human?" Sherloque asks.
" Well, power manifestaton varies. The particle accelerator." Caitlin says.
" I don't think we're interrupting Sherloque, right?" Sherloque asks.
" Right." Caitlin says.
Sure, but you bring up a good point, Dr. Snow. What do we know about this Cicada?" Sherloque asks.
" Well, he's killed two people and almost a third." Iris says.
" Exactly right. If I could gently be a little more specific, not just people, right? Meta humans." Sherloque says.
"Also, Joe said he got the feeling Cicada's a dad." Barry says.
" Right. Cicada parent." Sherloque says as he writes it on the board.
" His dagger dampens powers." Nora says.
"Not just dampens the powers, right? He commands this dagger, right? It is like an extension of himself. So we know. Sherloque says.
" Maybe they acquired their powers at the same time." Caitlin says.
" Yes, very good, Dr. Snow." Sherloque says.
" So, acquired powers together. So there we are, Team Flash, Very simple. We unravel this puzzle, and we have a pathway to tracking Cicada." Sherloque says.
" Cool, or we just answer a much more basic question, like what's up weird mask?" Ralph asks.
" Well, the mask conceals his identity. That's what it's for." Sherloque says.
" Right. What I'm suggesting is, if we find what the mask is for, we find out the man underneath much faster." Ralph says.
" 37 times I have caught Cicada, right/ And not once was this mask angle very useful, right? ( Sherloque speaks in French) But you know what? The more hours I bill you, the less money I owe you. So, if you want to spend your hours pursuing the mask angle, well, then be my guest." Sherloque says.
" Okay, great. Sounds like a plan." Iris says.
" We got to get going." Barry says.
" Yeah, yes." Sherloque says.
" Good stuff." Barry says.
" I hope you score a touchdown." Sherloque says.
Barry chuckles
" It's softball." Barry says.
" Ah, score a basket. ( Looking at Ralph) So, baby giraffe, lead on, my friend." Sherloque says.
At the field
" Wow. Lok at these guys. They think they're so much better than us." Barry says.
" Because they are, Barr.I mean, without Captain Singh or my dad, it's." Iris says.
" Huh?" Barry says.
" Huh, what?" Iris asks.
" Jonesy isn't here yet. Hey Detective Rowell, what do you think? Maybe third base for me?" Barry asks.
" Right field, Allen." Detective Rowell says.
" Babe, I love you, but leave the hot corner to someone who can actually field a ball, okay?" Iris asks.
" Play ball." The officers shout.
" Come on!" Barry says as Barry and Iris kiss.
" I mean good luck!" Iris says.
" Yeah." Barry says.
" You're gonna nail it." Iris encourages.
" Right field." Barry says as he walks over to right field.
" Oh God." Iris says.
" In right field. Noth the hot corner, but Guys, come on!" Barry says.
Then multiple times he gets the ball but loses the catch multiple times.
Like this.
" Wow, he is really slow." Cecile says.
" Yeah, Papa Joe told me all the stories about what an awful athlete Dad was growing up." Nora says.
" Well believe me, they're true." Iris says.
" Let's just be grateful that he has coordination- when it counts." Caitlin says.
Just then Nora's phones buzzes
" Hey, what is that, Nora?" Cecile asks.
" There is this really great app called Spyn zone. The push notifications let you know the second anything happens in the city." Nora says.
" Like Iris's website?" Caitlin asks.
" Uh, yeah, kind of. It's just a lot up to date than that, and it's like it's really cool. This girl's like, really n the know." Nora says.
" Oh. Yeah, Spencer Young. I know her.Yeah, I see her all the time working on her laptop at Jitters. She she actually was junior reporter at CCPN when I worked there, but she didn't last long." Iris says.
" Why not?" Caitlin asks.
Well, she wanted to be famous and make a name for herself, but she didn't care how it happened." Iris says.
" Well, I think she's cute." Nora says.
" Yeah, I mean, she may be cute, but she's never fact checked a thing in ger life."Iris says.
" She's doing something right. She has three time as many followers on her app as you do on your blogs, so I'm gonna get something to eat." Nora says as she leaves.
" Ooh, Wow." Iris says.
On the field Barry doesn't catch the ball
" Ah, come on, Allen." Detective Rowell says.
" Oh." Iris says.
Nora's cell phones buzzes with a notification from Spyn Zone.
" Cecile, what's wrong?" Caitlin asks.
" Somethings not right!" Cecile says.
" Is that Jonesy?" Barry asks.
" Hey, somebody stop him!" Cecile shouts from the bleachers.
" Everybody move!" Barry shouts.
Nora then speeds in and takes the bag and throws it in the air as it bursts
Later when Jonesy and Nora are better
" Hey, hey. Nora, hey." Barry says.
" Huh? What happened?" Nora asks confused.
" You just saved ever one." Barry says.
Spencer
Later outside the field
" Bomb squad finished their sweep. They said it's all clear." Barry says.
" Okay. Nora, how did you know what was happening?" Iris asks.
" I don't know. one ( Nora stutter) One minute I was going to get food, and the next I was in the outfield with Dad." Nora says.
" And you don't remember anything else?" Caitlin asks.
Nora's phone chimes
" What's that?" Caitlin asks.
" A notification from Spyn Zone." Nora says.
" Already? That was fast." Iris says.
" Allen, CSI time." The officer says.
" Uh, we're up. We'll meet you back at STAR Labs as soon as we can." Barry says.
" Iris, if Cicada sees that post." Caitlin says.
" Yeah, he may pick Nora as his next target." Iris says.
Later at the docks where the team first fought Cicada
" Well, you have brought us to the location you first encountered Cicada." Sherloque says.
" That's right. How did you know?" Ralph asks.
" I know everything. I'm a master detective. Look, I looked at the CSI file of Barry Allen. There is no evidence of Cicada DNA, right? And, moreover, look at the location, right? All the traffic through here You can never pull DNA from here." Sherloque says.
" It's a good thing we're not here for DNA." Ralph says.
" What are we here for, then?" Sherloque asks.
" We're here to find out why Cicada wears that mask." Ralph says.
" Oh, encore with the mask! Do you think he's allergic to fresh air?" Sherloque asks.
" No, no, he wears that for a mask." Ralph says.
" All right, look, 37 times I've caught Cicada. Not once, not one time was the mask- a key part of the evidence." Sherloque says.
" Yeah, that's true. But you said this Cicada is different than all the others, so why wouldn't his mask be different, too?" Ralph asks.
" Maybe it'd just a mask to You know what? You want to pursuit mask angle, be my guest. What do you expect to find here?" Sherloque says.
" When I was getting my ass kicked, I noticed that the more he exerted himself, the heavier his breathing got." Ralph says.
" That's what happens." Sherloque says.
" So, I thought if one those breaths were strong enough ( Ralph chuckles) We might just get lucky." Ralph says.
" How are we going to get lucky?" Sherloque asks.
" Barry found traces of fluoropolymer here." Ralph says.
" So?" Sherloque asks.
" So. the Internet told me that they're prone to flaking. I'm here to get some." Ralph says.
" The Internet also tell you to contaminate you crime scene? Very good, master Detective." Sherloque says.
" Turns out industrial respirators use a protective coating around the nostrils that are made from this. And when this exposed to another compound, dimethyl sulfate, fluoropolymer tend to emit a very distinct odor." Ralph says.
" Burnt onions." Sherloque says.
" Right.( Ralph sniffs) We find out where this is, we're going to find our man. Elementary." Ralph says.
" Elementary." Sherloque says.
" No shrap, Sherlock." Ralph says.
Sherloque sighs
" It's Sherloque." Sherloque says.
Later at Jitters Iris meets Spencer
" Spencer?" Iris asks.
" Iris West, wow. Long time. How are you?" Spencer asks.
" Uh, yeah, yeah, I'm good. And you?" Iris asks.
" Good. Married that CSI guy you were dating, huh?" Spencer asks.
" Uh, yeah." Iris says.
" Any kids yet?" Spencer asks.
" Um, no. Not. Uh No." Iris says.
" You know, I followed your lead. Started my own blog, left CCPN. Now we are both Vhaerleine Foster Kanes." Spencer says.
" Right." Iris says.
" BTdubs, those Professor Devoe stories respect. Metas are clickbait right now, right?" Spencer asks.
" Yes, which is why I wanted to talk to you, actually, off the record, of course." Iris says.
" Yeah, for sure. What's up?" Spencer asks.
" So, uh, I recently found a source a who thinks that metas are being targeted." Iris says.
" Ooh, juicy. Who?" Spencer asks.
" Well, no one knows, not even CCPD. But these metal, including speedster like the Flash and XS, they are all in danger." Iris says.
" XS. That new last speedster. ( Spencer gasps) Oh, like her size. Right, extra small. Did you coin that?" Spencer asks Iris.
"Look, the point is, writing articles about XS could make her a target." Iris says.
" Or it could make her famous. I mean, people are already obsessed with her and my app even more. Besides, a little threat never stopped you from writing about The Flash back in the day." Spencer says.
" That was different." Iris says.
" Because it was your blog? What do as I say, not as I do?" Spencer says.
" Look, please stop, okay? Before someone gets hurt." Iris says.
" The only one who's going to get hurt is when I make your blog irrelevant." Spencer says.
In CCPD Barry and Nora are checking what happened to Jonesy
" What is this for, Allen?" Jonesy asks.
"Just trying to get answers, Jonesy. ( Barry looks at Nora) Would you send that to Caitlin?" Barry asks Nora.
" I told everyone everything, I know, which is nothing." Jonesy says.
" You don't remember a thing?" Nora asks.
" No. Okay, God's own truth, Allen. All I remember is waking up, getting ready for the game, leaving my house, and the next thing I know, I wake up in the field after that bomb went off. I mean, where would I even get a bomb?" Jonesy asks.
" The evidence lockup. It was part of the inventory we seized from the Jansen- Moretti case. The cameras in the lockup show you stuffing that bomb in your backup this morning." Joe says.
" Joe, no one got hurt." Barry says.
" They could've. The woman I love, my baby. You could've killed them.I watched you come up, man." Joe says.
" I'm sorry, Joe but I swear, I don't know how this happened." Jonesy says.
" Move, move. How many we got?" The officer says.
" Hey what is it?" Joe asks.
" Fire at CCPN. First responders are across town." The officer says.
" We got to go." Barry says.
They reach CCPN
" Finally." Spencer says.
" Okay, the building's already been evacuated. Fire trucks are on their way." Iris says.
" Okay, ,let's just get inside and put the fire out." Barry says.
Nora stutters
" I've never done this before." Nora says.
" Fine. I will make you move. Enjoy this news, Flash." Spencer says as she puts it on the TV
" Flash spotted in Las Vegas."
" All right, I'll walk you through it. Once we're inside." Barry says and he sees the headline
" What? Where are you going?" Nora asks.
" Nora, what's wrong?" Iris asks.
" He just ran away and left." Nora says.
" His suits's GPS has him west, way west." Caitlin says.
" Barry? Barry? He's not listening." Iris says.
" Uh, guys, what do I do here?" Nora asks.
" Okay, Nora, you're gonna have to do this by yourself. Okay? But I am gonna help you." Iris says.
" Okay." Nora says.
" Okay, you need to get to the heart of the fire and extinguish it from there." Iris says.
" I got it." Nora says.
" Rotate your arms in tight circles. You need to move them in opposite directions, creating twin vacuums." Iris instructs.
Nora breathes heavily
" Coome on Nora. Dad's done this a thousand times. You can do this." Nora motivates herself.
" I'm doing it!" Nora says.
" Keep going!" Caitlin says.
" Great job, Nora." Iris says.
" Thanks, mom! Hey, hey, did you find Dad?" Nora asks.
" What the hell?" Barry says as he reaches Vegas.
In the STAR Labs lounge
" I'm glad you were there to put that out. It could've been a lot worse." Barry says.
" Thanks, Dad." Nora says.
" Don't thank me. Your mom walked you through it." Barry says.
" You were really great out there." Iris says.
" So there was some weird activity with your scan, but everything looks fine." Caitlin says.
" Hmm." Barry says.
" What's the last thing you remember?" Iris asks Barry.
" Standing outside CCPN with Nora. Next thing I know, I'm in Vegas." Barry says.
" That's exactly what happened to me and Officer Jones." Nora says.
" So maybe the abnormal activity was some sort of hypnotic induction?" Caitlin suggests.
" I don't know. I mean, I feel like one of us would've noticed somebody trying to hypnotize me." Barry says.
" Yeah, and why someone hypnotize us to save people?" Nora asks.
" Publicity. Spencer Young wants to get famous by making me famous." Iris says.
" You don't know that." Nora says.
" She admitted it when we talked." Iris says.
" Why would you go talk to her?" Nora asks Iris.
Then Iris brings the post up
" Hold up, look at the timestamp on the post. 7: 52 pm? Nora and I were still with Jonesy, and the fire hadn't been reported yet." Barry says.
" I guess you'll always be the first one to the scope if you're the one making it." Iris says.
" So she's some sort of early edition meta who makes stories?" Caitlin asks.
" Fake news taken to a whole new level." Iris says.
" Maybe she's some sort meta psychic- who predicts the news." Barry says.
Iris sighs
" That still doesn't mean she hypnotized us." Nora says.
"Yeah. Caitlin, can you download the cortical biometrics from Nora's suit and run it against my scans?" Barry asks.
" On it." Caitlin says.
" Thanks." Barry says.
" What are you thinking?" Iris asks.
" We need to figure out if Spencer's responsible for this." Barry says.
With Ralph and Sherloque
" Google for the win on finding out- where Cicada's mask is from." Ralph says.
" Google for the win. So you think Cicada's hiding out here, just lurking behind those doors." Sherloque asks.
" Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do, because my search also told me Szerk Chemicals uses dimethyl sulfates in most of their products. So guess what? I'm gonna take down Cicada." Ralph says.
" Oh, well, we shall see, giraffe." Sherloque says.
" May I help you?" The man asks.
" Hi, How are you? I'm Elongated Man." Ralph says.
" I know." The man says.
" Sherloque Wells, yes, master detective. You know, we'll sign autographs later we have some business." Sherloque says.
'' Uh, we just want to know to know if we can ask you some questions, please." Ralph asks.
" Aboout?" The man asks.
" What about your masks?" The man asks.
" Do any of your employees wear them?" Ralph asks.
The owner chuckles and says
" Follow me. Yep. Every worker, everyone wears one." The man says.
" How many plants?" Sherloque asks.
" Three in Central City and Keystone." The man says.
" Mm." Sherloque says.
" 14 in the midwest alone." The man says.
" So probably thousands?" Sherloque asks.
" Yeah, and we're not the only facility that uses them." The man says.
" Thank you for your time." Ralph says.
" Hey, I, uh ( The man chuckles) Love that pear meme going around the last few weeks." The man says.
Sherloque laughs
"Mm. Classic. I have a suggestion for you. Maybe the next time you do a Google search, advance to page 2." Sherloque says.
With Barry and Iris
" So, here's the meta watch, press that button. If Spencer's a meta, it'll beep." Barry says.
" And if she's meta." Iris says.
" It means she could be dangerous, so come right back." Nora says.
" Yes. One of us would go with you, but she knows both me and your dad so." Iris says.
" Okay, We're here if you need us." Barry says.
"I got it." Nora says.
" I see her." Nora says.
" All you need to do is get within five feet of her, hit the button, in and out." Iris says.
" I know!" Nora says.
" You see what I mean? Half step forward, six step back?" Iris says.
" I mean, you guys did great with the fire, though." Barry says.
" Thank you. ( Spencer takes the drink)You should totally name one of your drinks after that new female speedster, XS." Spencer says.
" Hey."Nora says.
" Whoa!" Spencer says.
" Hi." Nora says.
" Hi." Spencer says..
" Sorry, Spencer." Nora says.
" That's okay. Do I know you?" Spencer says.
" Uh-oh." Barry says.
" Uh, Nora you have to press the button." Iris says.
" Um, no. You don't know me." Nora says.
" But you know me?" Spencer asks.
" Yes, I do. You're Spencer Young. I read all your stuff on Spyn Zone. It's a really good app. It's fantastic stories stories and really good writing. I'm a I'm a really big fan." Nora says.
" Nora." Iris says from the van.
" I always enjoy meeting a fan. Especially when they are as adorable as you." Spencer says.
" What's happening?" Barry asks confused.
" She's flirting with our daughter." Iris says.
" What?" Barry asks.
" Hold down the fort!" Iris says as she hurries to Jitters.
" Iris wait!" Barry says.
" Do you have a name?" Spencer asks.
" Nora, hey!" Iris says.
" Wait, y-You know her?" Spencer asks.
" Uh, I do. Well, she's actually This is ." Nora says as she stutters.
" Did you want to check your watch? I think we're running a little bit late." Iris says.
Nora chuckles
" Right, yes. Mhm. Yeah." Nora says as she presses the meta watch.
"All right, well, I'm gonna peace out. But I hope to meet you again sometime. Nora." Spencer says.
" Well, I guess she's not meta." Iris says.
" I guess not." Nora says.
" Oh, no. No, no, no. Nora look, I don't care that she's cute. She's dangerous, okay? You need to stay away from her." Iris says.
" She could be dangerous." Nora says.
" Nora, I am trying to protect you here." Iris says.
Nora scoffs
" Has that been your thing my whole life?" Nora asks.
" What does that mean, honestly? I mean, is that why you've been so cold to me, why you don't want to spend any time with me? I'm I'm just trying to get to know you." Iris says.
" Just drop it." Nora says looking down.
" Nora, I don't under." Iris says.
" Look, you lied to me!" Nora says.
" I would neverlie to you." Iris says.
" Yeah? What do you call that( Nora shows Iris the power dampening chip) You put a power dampening chip inside me to take away my speed. And until six months ago, I didn't even know I had powers. My whole life has been a lie because you have been trying to protect me. Well guess what? I don't need you to do that anymore." Nora says.
The next day Iris is trying to get a hold of Nora
" Hey." Barry says.
" Hey." Iris says.
" What are you doing?" Barry asks.
" Well, Nora blocked me. So I'm trying to use the quantum computer to access her phone and force her t accept my calls. But I am no hacker." Iris says.
" Don't you think that's a little extreme?" Barry asks.
" Yes, Barry, it's very extreme and crazy and desperate, but I am feeling extremely crazy and desperate, okay? I though giving her space would, you know, have her eventually come around, but it turns out she's not the problem. I am. I mean, I don't know how I could do something like that to her, Barry." Iris says.
"Iris, you didn't do anything. You can't blame yourself for something futue- you might do." Barry says.
"Yes, I, can, Barry, and it's not a might. I suppresses our daughter's powers.I kept a huge part of who she was a secret for her entire life. I did that. " Iris says.
" Look, she'll forgive you." Barry says.
" What if ,my dad did something like that to you after the particle accelerator exploded? See?I don't understand how I could do something like that to her." Iris says.
" Look, I don't know why you do it, but I don't need to. I know that anything you do for our family it's out of love. So, whatever reason future- you has for doing this, I have faith that it's the right thing to do, and so should you." Barry says.
" Yeah, well, I'm having a really hard time believing that." Iris says.
" Well, then it's a good thing I have enough faith in you for the both of us, all right?" Barry says as he kisses Iris on the forehead.
Caitlin is looking at something when she says
" That's unusual." Caitlin says.
" Dr Snow!" Sherloque says behind in a mask in a Cicada kind of voice
" Aah!" Caitlin screams.
" Oh, Dr. Snow, I have frightened you Dr. Snow." Sherloque says.
" I assume you came here for some other reason than murdering me?" Caitlin asks still terrified.
Sherloque speaks French
" If I was to murder you, Dr. Snow, I would not do it in such an obvious fashion. Look, I have a theory on the identity of Cicada. I request your assistance." Sherloque says.
" Uh, okay. I was just finishing up." Caitlin says.
" Not your expertise, your assistance. I need you to punch me in the chest." Sherloque says.
" What?" Caitlin asks.
" Right here, above the um, dee- aphragm. How do you say?" Sherloque asks.

Caitlin clears her throat
" For the record, I know what you did there." Caitlin tells Sherloque.
" And?" Sherloque asks.
" And it worked." Caitlin says.
Then Caitlin punches Sherloque in the chest
" Ooh!" Sherloque says.
" Oh, uh, are you okay?" Caitlin asks.
" Sherloque bends low and puts his thumb up to say yes
" You sound just like.." Caitlin says as she hears the breathing.
"Cicada." Sherloque says.
Just then an alarm is blaring throughout STAR Labs
" What do we got?" Barry asks Iris.
" CCPD is getting bombarded with calls from people at the soccer game at Central City Stadium."' Iris says.
" It's all over the news too." Ralph says.
" Okay, I'm gonna get over there." Barry says.
" CCPD already cleared out the stadium." Caitlin says.
" Find the bomb and we'l help you disarm it." Iris says.
" What's going on?" Nora asks coming into the cortex.
" I'll tell you on the way. Come on." Barry says as they speed to the stadium.
They speed around the stadium looking for the bomb.
"Nothing, you?" Barry asks Nora.
"No." Nora says.
" Iris, there's no bomb." Barry says.
" Guys, look at the timestamp on Spencer's post." Iris says.
" 11:05 am. " Caitlin says.
" Yeah, and now look at the time that CCPD got the first call about the bomb sighting." Iris says.
" It was five minutes." Ralph says.
" Hey, can you bring up Officer Jones brain scan? I'm gonna run the code of Spencer's post through the decompiler. Let's see what's underneath. " Iris says.
"Got it." Caitlin says.
" Done." Spencer says.
" Barry, it's the headline." Iris says.
" What?" Barry asks.
" That's how Spencer's hypnotizing people. They're reading her headlines. Don't look at them!" Iris says.
Nora looks at the headline which says

" To get my family back." Iris says as she goes into the extrapolater.
" Hurry up and kill him already." Spencer says as she continues taking the video.
When Spencer sees Iris shoot Nora with the tranq gun
" Time to bounce." Spencer says.
After Iris tranqs Nora she runs to her
" Hey you're gonna be okay. All right? Nice shot!( Barry talks into his comms) Guys, do we know where Spencer is?" Barry asks the team.
" I can't ping her phone! CCPD disabled all the cell towers in the area to prevent a remote bomb detonation. " Caitlin says.
" She must be local in order to put those headlines up on that big screen, right?" Sherloque asks.
" She's at the stadium." Ralph says.
She's here?" Barry asks as he speeds to Spencer.
" Looks like you''ll be trading this cell in for another." Barry tells Spencer as he chuckles
Later in STAR Labs
" All right, Spencer's locked up in Iron Heights." Barry says coming in.
" The mayor's resigning." Caitlin says.
What?" Barry asks.
" I'm surprised she lasted this long." Ralph says.
" Luckily, I was able to get a quote from her exonerating Officer Jones for my article. Post will go up tomorrow. " Iris says.
" Papa Joe will be relieved his friend's in the clear." Nora says.
" Yeah.Well, at least, now with Sppencer behind us, we can concentrate on bigger fish." Barry says.
"Yes, we can. So. " Sherloque says coming into the cortex.
" Uh, Sherlock." Caitlin says.
" Sherloque." Sherloque says.
" He thinks he's found a key to Cicada's identity." Caitlin says.
" A crucial clue to help us solve our little mystery. So we all know the distinctive sound of Cicada's breathing due to the respirator in the mask. But not just that, because his lungs are injured. " Sherloque says.
" But injured from what?" Nora asks.
" Historically, there is an event that causes David Hersch to always become Cicada, but not this time. There's a different Cicada because." Sherloque says.
" Because Nora helped me to dstroy the satellite." Barry says.
" Monsieur Allen, Nora's strike through the satellite changed the trajectory of the debris, and now the debris has hit a new person and injured oue new Cicada." Sherloque says.
" Okay, but how did that gibve him his powers?" Ralph asks.
" Devoe flooded the satellite with dark matter. It makes sense that pieces would be saturated." Caitlin says.
" So Cicada and the dagger were created the night of the Enlightenment." Iris says.
" Acquired powers together." Sherloque says.
" Well, listen Sherlock." Ralph says.
" Sherloque." Sherloque says.
" I got to hand it to you. That's very impressive." Ralph says.
" It's quite a breakthrough, right? Monsieur Dibny? One that I cannot take any credit for. No, all the credit, all the praise goes to you, Monsieur Dibny. It was your instincts to follow the mask, right? Well, you were right, and I was less right. I apologize. " Sherloque says.
" Okay, guys, I'm sorry. The dagger part still doesn't make sense. I mean things cannot become metas, right?" Iris says.
" I don't know about that." Barry says as he opens the back of Spencer's phone
Barry scoffs
" Our satellite didn't just create new metas. It created meta- tech." Barry says.
"Which puts meta human abilities in the hands of anyone." Iris says.
Later Nora is sitting on the med bay bed when Iris comes in
" Hey. Caitlin sas you're going to be fine. I'm sorry for supressing your powers, but I think it was the right thing to do." Iris says.
" Yeah.No, I - I get it. I mean, I was trying to kill Dad. I would've done the same thing, too." Nora says.
" No, that's ( Iris sighs) That's not what I mean. I'm talking about in the future." Iris says.
" What?" Nora asks.
" I know you're upset and angry. And honestly, before today, I couldn't even imagine a situation where I would do something like to you. But after seeing the choice i just made I know that whatever reason I would have for keeping your powers a secret, it it must have been a good, Nora.It must have been to protect you." Iris says.
"No. What happened today has nothing to do with what happens in the future. You didn't supress my abilities my whole life because I was brainwashed or attacking people. You did it to control me. You took a choice away from me that I didn't even know I had A choice to be a hero, like my dad." Nora says.
" What's going on?" Barry asks coming into the med bay.
" Nothing, we're just talking." Iris says as she turns towards Barry.
" Mom thinks she had good reason to suppress my powers in the future, but she doesn't know what that reason is." Nora says.
" I'm sure it's a good one. Look, Nora, I don't have to visit the future to know what kind of mother Iris is going to be. She cares about family more than anyone I've ever met. Okay? And I support her decisions past, present and future." Barry says.
" Then I guess I need to rethink what the meaning of family is." Nora says as she gets up.
"Nora, wait." Iris says.
" Do you know what hurt the most about learning I had powers? Not hearing it from my mom." Nora says and speeds away.
Nora goes to the West house

Hi." Nora says as Cecile opens the door

" Uh, it's kind of a long story, but I stay here?" Nora asks.
" Get in here, kid!" Joe says.
" Are you sure it's not too much trouble?" Nora asks.
" It's fine. Maybe talk about the reason later? But for now, there's some fresh pillows an blankets upstairs." Joe says.

Later our new not named yet Cicada is getting into his apartment
