"He's choosing the outfit options I will have" she told me

"Yeah but on Christmas Eve? And the fact that he chose them.. no, something ain't sitting right with me" I told her
"It's just crazy that he even insisted he choose them" she said
"Which one are you wearing?" I asked her
"I'm thinking A. It looks the warmest" she said with a chuckle
"None of these look warm" I said joining her
"Fuck" she said settling down from her laugh
"I hope I can make it back for the party" she said

"If not you're gonna have to keep star company" she said
Star had came just yesterday. Cardi's old Boss has sent her to see if by any chance they'd be able to move some workers over here to get themselves more sales. So far he was considering renting an apartment here and send, Star, Erika, Bella, and Doja along with 2 other boys I didn't meet when in New York. Since they were his top selling she was sure they'd be able to sell quite a lot here, considering it's a bunch of crackheads.
"I don't know about that" I responded to her
"What, why?" She questioned me
"Because she knows about all the things I've done and she's your bestfriend, I feel like she ain't gonna like spending time with me" I told her
"If I tell her tho she'll be cool, just don't just to conclusions, we still don't know how long I'll be working for" she told me.

Time: 9:14am
"He said he'd text me later the time and address" she told me
"Well shit, he couldn't have done that yesterday?" I asked
"I guess he said the guy didn't respond until today" she told me
2 hours later
"Ok he just sent me the time" she told me
"What time?" I asked her
"6pm.." she said
"Shit thats the same time Rocky's party starts, so does that mean you won't come to the party?" I asked her
"Well probably, ill just do the 3 hours then dip" she told me
"That reminds me, we don't know which apartment number he lives in" I told her
"You're right, I'll text him later" I told her
4 hours later
Cardi had left to pick up her outfit at her strip club and get ready. I was on my way to the mall to see if I could buy Cardi a last minute gift since I finally didn't have her near me.
I scanned through the store, a couple things caught my eyes but nothing really worth the gasp.
I finally landed my eyes on a beautiful pair of red bottoms, they were a basic black but I just knew she'd love them.
I picked them up and continued to look around.
I found a few other things like jewelry and shirts. I had quite a few things in my hands and figured it was time to head out before I bought more.
When I approached the cash register I placed everything down as I took a dramatic gasp for air indicating I was tired as hell carrying all that shit.
"Didn't think I'd see you here" a familiar voice spoke
"Huh?" I hummed confused until I looked up and realized who it was.
"Oh hey!" I said trying to remember the name.
"Onika? Right?" She said
"Yess!! And you are Addison?" I asked
"Alison, but you weren't too off" she said smiling as we caught a stare for a while
"So what are you doing today?" I asked her looking back down at the total on the screen
"Christmas eve party" she said
"No way me too!" I said getting a little too excited
"That's cool! I can't wait to get off my shift and go, it sucks though because the party is at his apartment" she said
"Wait, whose party?" She said as she stopped scanning and took a moment to think
"I think his name was Ro-" she began to say
"Rocky!" I said finishing her words
"Yes him!" She said excitedly
"I'm going to the same one" I said I'm shock
"No way!" She said
"Yes!!" I said as we both got excited
"Are you guys friends?" She asked me
"No, he lives in the same complex as me" I told her
"Yo I'm hyped now, you wanna go together? I heard he got a surprise for everyone too" she said
"Ummm.." I said not wanting to be rude but also not seem mean
"Oh, I get it, you're going with that one girl right?" She said
"No actually, she's working tonight" I said inserting my card
"Oh" she said
Cardi wouldn't be there so there's no way of her knowing, my only problem was Star, I had to think of something for later
"Actually yeah sure! Let's go!" I told her
"Dead serious?" She asked
"Yup" I said
"Yo that's great, pass me your number so I can text you" she said as I write my number down on a sticky note and handed it to her.
Time: 6:20
"Yo look how many people there are" Alison said as we watched person after person enter his apartment
"After you" She said holding the door open as I smiled and walked in
"Oops, sorry I didn't mean to bump into you" she said running into me as I stood in shock at what I was seeing.
