—(Y/n) POV—
Adora stands there looking at me with her arms crossed but she's not angry
"Adora....I'm sorry for everything I've done to you" I say
Adora walks forward and I get a little more nervous
"I'm sorry about princess prom and the whole thing after and the whole thing at the beacon and the battle of bright moon and everything that has happened over these past few years Catra did make me do a lot of things I didn't want to do but thats no excuse and I get it if you don't want to forgive me and I get it if you never want to see me again and I 100% understand if you don't want to be my friend ever again" I say
Adora laughs a bit and smiles and I'm so confused
"You do realize most of that stuff wasn't your fault right?" Adora says
"What?" I ask
"I know you never wanted any of that to happen and if Catra made you do that stuff, it's not your fault" Adora says
"But it is-" I say
"For the honor of grayskull" Adora yells
Adora is now She-Ra and I back up into the back of the circle thing
She-Ra steps in and I shake with fear
"A-Adora I-I get that you're angry at me but isn't h-hurting m-me as S-She-Ra a l-little too far?" I ask scared out of my mind
"What?! I'm not going to hurt you, I'm going to heal you" Adora says
"H-Heal m-me?" I ask
"I'm not going to let you be in pain (Y/n) and the horde didn't do a proper job of bandaging you up" Adora says
Adora starts glowing and then t-poses and then walks forward and places both of her hands on my face
Adora stops glowing and transforms back into herself
"I'm in a little less pain" I say
"See if you can walk" Adora says
I put my left foot on the ground and it's painful but I'm able to walk
"Thank you so much Adora" I say
I'm still covered in bruises and cuts but my leg isn't broken
I decide to give Adora the note I wrote to her and Catra years ago and I give it to her and she reads it
Adora tears up and gives the note back
I want to hug Adora but I can't because she probably doesn't want to hug me
But then I feel two strong arms wrap around me and I'm pressed up against Adoras chest
"Adora?" I say weakly
I hug back
—3rd person POV—
Adora held onto (Y/n) like it was the last thing on Etheria keeping her alive and standing
Adora wanted to hug tighter but she didn't want to hurt (Y/n)
Adora was happy that she finally had the girl that she had feelings for since she was a little kid, pretty much the day they met
Adora always has this strange feeling around (Y/n) and she didn't know what it was
Adora wanted to hug (Y/n) all night and never let go
Adora only let go to get a couch from across the room so they could be more comfortable when hugging
Adora pushed the couch in and picked up (Y/n) and placed her very gently on the couch and hugged her
Adora teared up because of stress and what Glimmer said to her earlier and that she finally had (Y/n) back
"Adora? Can you stay with me tonight? Only if you want to that is" (Y/n) says
"I would like that" Adora says
Adora lets go and leaves the magic trap only to take off her boots and jacket and she comes back in and hugs (Y/n) again
"You must be happy to see me huh?" (Y/n) says
Adora could never do this to Catra because she would push away but with (Y/n) she could because (Y/n) loves hugs and (Y/n) can't exactly push Adora off because she's smol
Adora gets (Y/n) to lay on her right side and Adora is behind her and wraps one arm around her waist and another around her neck and pulls (Y/n) into her chest and holds her there
"Adora?" (Y/n) asks
"Catra was wrong, it was my turn for you to sleep with me" Adora says
(Damn (Y/n) cuddled with Catra Scorpia and Adora)
"Thank you Adora" (Y/n) says
(Y/n) and Adora fell asleep and unfortunately (Y/n) had nightmares
The nightmares were about Catra finding her again and hurting her again
(Y/n) starting whimpering and Adora held her tighter and gently woke her up
"(Y/n) hey wake up" Adora says
(Y/n) wakes up and is cuddled tighter against Adoras chest
"Sorry it was just a nightmare" (Y/n) says
"What was it about?" Adora asks
"Catra beating me. Catra coming here and taking me back to the Fright Zone and she killed me and I woke up" (Y/n) says
Adora hugs even tighter but has to loosen her grip because (Y/n) is still in pain
"I won't let that happen. I won't let Catra take you again" Adora says
"You don't have to stay here. I don't want to keep you awake" (Y/n) says
"I'm staying and I don't care if you keep me up" Adora says
"I'm terrified of Catra" (Y/n) says
"As long you're with me, I'll protect you" Adora says
(Y/n) can't get back to sleep and she sits up and so does Adora and (Y/n) hugs Adoras side and Adora hugs back
(Y/n) explains in detail what Catra did to her
Adoras blood boils at every time (Y/n) says Catra punched her or kicked her
Adora wanted to go over to the Fright Zone and hurt Catra but Adora couldn't
(Y/n) needed her and Adora needed (Y/n)
After (Y/n) was done explaining what Catra did to her Adora hugged (Y/n) so tight but she stopped after a few seconds, not wanting to hurt her
"I'm sorry for not saving you" Adora says
"It's ok, I wanted all of Berk to get out first" (Y/n) says
"What?" Adora asked
"I got Kyle to give my best friend Hiccup and note and keys to a skiff. The note said to get a family each night and drive them to Berk and drop them off and come back with the skiff so no one notices that a ton of skiffs are missing and I waited and I heard everyone from Berk is safe" (Y/n) says
"You saved an entire village?" Adora says
"It was Hiccup not me who saved everyone" (Y/n) says
Adora wanted to turn into She-Ra and hug (Y/n) but Adora didn't want to crush (Y/n) to death
(Y/n)s sleeves got rolled up and Adora noticed the two maple leave birth marks on her wrists
"Woah what's that?" Adora asks
"Birth marks. They're pretty cool right" (Y/n) says
(Y/n) traces the cuts on her wrists with her finger
Adora gently grabs (Y/n)s hand and pulls it away from her wrist and pulls her sleeves back up
Adora knew (Y/n) was scared and Adora decided to cheer her up a bit
"Wanna hear a funny story?" Adora asks
"Yeah" (Y/n) responds
"Catra came into the horde in a box that said "apple sauce" and I found her in that box and I picked her up and I said she'd be my best friend and Shadow Weaver said her name would be Elizabeth and I said "her name is Catra apple sauce meow meow" and it stuck" Adora says
(It's 100% canon and no one can tell me otherwise)
(Y/n) laughs a bit and Adora kept hugging her
"You named Catra?" (Y/n) laughs
"Yeah I did and I would have probably named you but you already had a name" Adora says
(Y/n) laughs and closes her eyes
"Hey (Y/n) I have to go somewhere tomorrow, but you'll be ok here, right?" Adora asks
"Yeah I'll be ok by myself" (Y/n) says
Adora and (Y/n) go back to cuddling and they both got a good nights rest
Hours later Glimmer comes in and is shocked that Adora is cuddling (Y/n)
"Adora" Glimmer says angrily
Adora wakes up and is annoyed by Glimmers presence
"What are you doing?" Glimmer asks
Adora slowly unwraps her arms from (Y/n) and gets up quietly and gets her boots and jacket back on and leaves the room and doesn't even look at Glimmer
Adora wants to hold (Y/n) and hug her all day so (Y/n) knows she's safe
—(Y/n) POV—
I woke up and Adora was gone and Glimmer was standing outside the magic prison
I stand up and painfully walk over to the front of the magic trap and I slightly limp because of the pain
"Uh hey queen Glimmer" I say awkwardly
"So you can walk" Glimmer says and crosses her arms
"Adora healed me" I say
"Of course she did. Why was she hugging you?!" Glimmer asks angrily
"I don't know" I say
Glimmer teleports away and I'm left alone and in pain
But happy
Happy that I'm free from Catra
