I literally have no where to go. I just needed to get out the house and just leave since they wanted me too. Between paying payments for my car and school, I barley have any money left. I decide to drive to my first love's house. He said if I ever needed a place to stay, I could stay with him
I parked in the driveway, grabbed my bags and keys, and walked to the door. I knocked on the door and he answered with grey sweat pants on and no shirt
"Chicago go put a shirt on," I said walking into his house
"You in my house ma," Chicago said closing the door
"Mhm. Where am i sleeping?"
"Guest room next to mines girl," he said laughing a little
I went up the stairs and walked into the guest room and looked around
I put my bags in the closet as I walk back to the bed
"This is nice"
"Thanks," he said typing on his phone
"Yep"
"You hungry?" He asked
"Nah. I ate earlier. I really don't have an appetite"
"Imma still get you something," he said
"Okay"
That's the thing I liked about Chicago. He was always caring and was selfless. He always checked up on me and made sure I was okay at all time. Me and him broke up because he was going to a different college and I knew it wouldn't work out
I turn on my phone and see multiple messages and missed calls from Mercedes, my dad. I put my phone down in the night stand and lay on the bed. Chicago put his hand on my thigh
"You okay?" He asked
"Y-yea," I said while he rubbed his hand up and down my thigh
"What's wrong Rena?" He asked laying on your chest
"My family still don't love me Chicago. They always making fun of my weight and always bashing me. Reminding me of how no one don't love me amd want me around. I left and once i finish school, imma start doing hair and i can eventually save up for my own apartment"
"You can stay here as long as you need and i think i got a space for your salon, barber shop, and nail salon. Don't worry about them ma, i got you and always will," he said
"Thanks and we can go see the place when i finish school. And i know, you always got me no matter what and that's why I'll always have love for you Chicago"
"I'll always have love for your too Merena," he said kissing my cheek
I've been looking for my daughter everywhere. I've been calling and texting her and she ain't said a word. I guess that's what i get for treating her different than Mercedes and Markeise. I park my car and get my keys. I walk in the door and see Markeise walking around
"Where's Mercedes?"
"In her room. She ain't talking to me and ain't came out her room for nothing," he said not looking up from his phone
"You should've never said that Markeise. Merena is always gonna be your sister Markeise and even though i treat her different doesn't mean you do. You shouldn't treat her no different than Mercedes"
"But no one likes her pops," he said annoyed
"I don't care. Be nice to her because one day you'll miss her," I said before going upstairs
You knock on Mercedes door
"Open up princess"
"No. You and Keise made the only person that loves me leave. She's my twin, my bestfriend, my partner in crime, my ride or die, my everything. I miss her and y'all been treating her like nothing. You and Keise. Ever since mama died, nobody has been treating her right except for me. Now when my sister is in a casket don't even cry cause y'all don't give one fuck about her," Mercedes said while crying
Mercedes was right. I have been treating her different and god knows i miss her so much and just want to hug her. I want to bring her back and talk to her but I'm sure she doesn't wanna talk
