It was 8 in evening when Ibtihaj was plotting the last steps of his plan on paper.
He was marking on map when Anfal entered in his study stomping her feet on floor.
"Ibtihaj! Mujhy ly k chalen!!"
(Ibtihaj!! Take me!!)
She said sternly.
"Kahan? Or ab konsa naya daura shareef pargya hai?"
(Where? What are you upto now?)
He said with raised brow still doing his work.
"Beach!! I want to go to Beach."
She said excitedly.
Hr shoke his head at her nonsense and didn't bother to reply.
"ap sun rhy hain? Sun rahy hn na ap? I want to go beach B-E-A-C-H !!!"
(you are listening?are you listening?)
She shouted near his ear startling
him.
"Kya masla hai anfal? Dekh nhi rahin k kam kar rha hn?"
(What's the problem Anfal? Can't you see I am working?"
"Wo to ap har waqt hi krty rhty hain! Ma phli dfa koei farmaish kr rhi hn sun lyn na!! "
(That you do all the time!! I am asking for something from you first time. Please listen na!!)
"Please na please!!"
She pleaded with puppy eyes.
"No!!
After looking at her for sometime he said emphasing.
"Kharoos!! Aakru!! Jyn ma khud hi ja rahi hn. Zaroort nhi ap ki."
(Arrogant!! Rude!! Go!! I don't need you. I am going myself.)
She said angrily.
"Kbhi akyly dukan tak bh gai ho? Ai barhi!!!"
(Had you ever gone to market alone? )
He said amusingly.
"Don't challenge me!!"
She ran out of study not before slamming the door behind her.
"Ullu!!"
(Duffer!!)
He murmured looking at door.
He couldn't ignore the fact for the long time that she was unbelievable and stubborn to hell and indeed she didn't give him empty threat as much he knew her.
Finishing his work within 5 minutes he took car keys and went out.
His estimation was right. She went out by herself.
Shaking his head he ignited the engine. He knew that she couldn't go much far in this short time.
He was driving car at the side of road near pavement when his eyes spotted her walking frame.
Anfal was making faces while complaining about ibtihaj to herself when a car stopped in front of her.
Her eyes sparkled when her eyes saw his face.
"Ab ku ay hain?"
(Now why you came?)
She said twitching her nose.
"As long as I remember it was a public road and not someone's property."
He said taking his shades off.
"Huh!!!"
She stepped ahead making faces.
"Anfal!!!"
He called her and again started his car.
"What?"
"Come sit in the car!! It's not cool at all roaming around in dark."
He said sternly.
"I have one condition!!"
"I don't take conditions!!"
"Please na!! Only 1!!"
"Alright!!"
He sighed.
"I want to go beach. Please take me!! I haven't been anywhere in this last month. I am tired of sitting at home. I want some fresh air."
At this he realized that she was right.
How long one can sit in home and thats too when you are talking about Anfal Murtaza!!
" Ok!!"
He said.
"What Ok?"
"Sit in the car!!"
"Will you take me?"
He hummed putting his shades on.
"What???"
She saod dramatically.
"Get in before I change my mind!!"
He said seriously.
"Ok sorry sorry!!"
And she jumped in car.
After sometime they were standing on the shore with waves hitting their feet.
Anfal sat down and folded her cigarette pent upwards and then she tried to fold ibtihaj's jeans too when he quickly bent down taking her hands off of his feet.
"What 're you doing?"
"Folding your jeans?"
"I can do myself. You don't have to touch my feet."
He said.
Anfal smiled at his little gesture.
They were looking forward at the beach when ibtihaj felt something on his palm.
He looked downward and saw Anfal crawling her hand in his and clasping them together.
She smiled at him and he averted his gaze.
Anfal splashed water on him making him startle.
"What the hell is this Anfal?"
He groaned upping water.
Instead of replying she laughed loudly.
"Wait!!"
Ibtihaj filled his palm with water and splashed on her.
"I didn't threw this much!!"
Whinning she again splashed water on him.
" You want a fight then let it be!!"
He said straightening his shirt and they both started splashing water at each other.
Their laughter was beaming across beach.
" Ok ok fine!! Now stop!!"
Anfal said laughing hysterically.
" Why? Lost so early?"
He smiled.
"Yeah!!"
Her cheeks were hurting from laughing this much.
First time they both were laughing together genuinely.
"Atleast take a picture of me. Look how good I am looking!!"
She pouted twirling around making her frock dance in air.
He stole a moment and looked at her briefly.
She was indeed looking like a fairy who just came from Disneyland.
Her hair were swaying in air. A smile was beaming on her lips . Her eyes were shimmering more than moon and stars alone.
He took his phone out and switched up on the camera.
"1 2 3!!!"
And a flash followed her way.
She made him took her numerous pictures in different posses.
"Thank you!!!"
She grinned lovingly.
He hummed and was saving pictures when she again splashed water in his direction making some drops to fall on mobile.
He glared at her and she started running.
"Anfal come here!!!"
He shouted and ran behind her.
After running for sometime she stopped.
She was panting while he didn't feel any thing.
"What the hell that was? You splashed water on my phone. Do you have idea how important my phone is to me?"
Without giving her a chance to speak he started yelling.
"Sorry!!"
She murmured lowly and stood at some distance from him.
He sighed controlling his anger. He was feeling bad for shouting at her.
"Come here!!"
He said softly pointing in front of him.
"No I won't!! Itna dant-tay hain. Jb nahi hongi na tb mt yad kr k rona."
(You scold me too much. Don't cry remembering me when I won't be there.)
She said and and he looked at her in amusement.
"Ma ku rounga bhala? Ma to khush honga k musibat se jan chooth gai meri!!"
(Why would I cry? I would be more happy that I got free from a trouble!!)
"Roaingy!! Dekh lyna!!"
(You will cry!! Will see!!)
"Kahan jaogi?"
(Where will you go?)
"Kahin bh!!"
(Any where !)
"Koei thikana to hai nahi tunhara mery siwa."
(You don't have anywhere to go except me)
He smiled proudly.
"Esi bat ka faida uthaty hain ap. Kahin bh nhi ja saki to mar jaungi. Phr mt rona!!"
(You take advantage only of this. If I won't be able to go anywhere then I will die. Then don't cry!!)
"Ek lgaunga!!"
He said raising hand in air.
"Huh"
She made face turning her head sideways.
"Acha sorry!!"
(Ok sorry!)
He sighed softly.
"Itna dant k sorry!!"
(Sorry after scolding this much!)
She twitched her nose.
"Acha baba ab nh dant-ta!!"
(Ok na I won't scold you anymore!!)
He said softly.
"Jhooty!!"
(Liar!!)
"Anfal!!"
He pulled her closer by gripping her elbow.
"Ok ok maaf kiya!!"
(Alright forgave you!!)
"Kabhi choraingy to nahi mujhy?"
(Won't you ever leave me?)
She asked innocently looking into his eyes.
"Kabhi nhi!"
(Never!!)
He was feeling as if her eyes were hypnotising him. His w0rds were betraying him.
"Ma musibat hun?"
(Am I a trouble?)
"Han ek haseen musibat!!"
(Yeah a beautiful one!)
He took her hands in his.
"Hamesha pas rekhengy apny? Yahan!!"
(Will you always keep me close to you? Here?)
She placed her hand on his chest where his heart was beating.
"Hamesha!! Bs tum hi ho yahan!!"
(Always!! Only you are here!)
He smiled ensuring her.
"Mery ho k rahaingy??"
(Will you stay as mine?)
"Tumhara hi hun sirf!!"
(I am only yours!)
He said caressing her cheek with his nose.
"Maan lu?"
(Should I agree?)
"Aazmalo!!"
(Take a trial!!)
He whispered in his trance.
"Nahi!! Yaqeen karti hun ap pr!!"
(No!! I believe you!!)
"Kitna?"
(How much?)
He pulled back and looked at her.
"Khud se kahin ziada!"
(More than myself)
"Meri jan bangai ho tum!!"
(You had become my life!!)
"Acha!!"
"Han!!"
(Yes!!)
" Or ap meri!!)
(And you became mine!!)
And they host lost in each other's eyes.
" Chalen ek picture lyty hain sath yadgar k lye!!"
(Yes!! Let's take a picture together to keep it as a memory!!)
He nodded and encircled his arm around her waist.
On 3rd count a flash erupted capturing the beautiful image of enthralling moment.
"Beautiful!!!"
A whisper left his mouth looking at the picture.
"Ab chorhen bh!! Ksi ny aa jana hai!!"
(Now leave me!! Someone will come!!)
She said shyly.
Hr smiled anc left her not before pecking her forehead.
She was grinning at how beautiful her life became within moments.
Ibtihaj was typing something on his phone when Anfal saw a small dot of red colour just on his heart.
It was looking as if someone pointing a light at him.
She looked here and there but couldn't find anyone.
Just then realization hit her that what her movies told her about this light.
"IBTIHAJJJJ!!!!!!"
She shouted and stood in front of him pushing him aside.
Just then a gun shot was heard and blood started ozing from the left side of Anfal's stomach.
"Aah!!"
A whimper left her mouth before her body fell down.
"ANFALLLLL!!!!!!"
Ibtihaj roared painfully sotting besode her limping body on floor.
He quickly took his gun out and spotted 3 men on the corner and shot them on legs.
"Anfal!!! Open your eyes!!! Nothing will happen you!!!"
He said patting her cheeks taking her hand in his.
""Death doesn't seem painful when.. you had lived your life to the fullest.Aahhh!!! I got every...thing in my life which I didn't even aahh!! deserve but my Allah is so gracious. He didnt leave me yearning. Today!! when I know I...I..won't live longer...I. want to tell you this that...yu..YOU..are the Allahhhh!!! best thing...ever happened to me...Aahh!!"
And the hand slipped down on floor lifeless.
"ANFALLLLLLL!!!!!!"
He cried loudly.
First time he realized how helpers a human is!!
They say true love never dies!!
