[A/N: I'm gonna use the cast of Stranger Things for this]
3rd Person's POV
"Henry!!" Henry heard his mom call his name while he was in the middle of a call with Ray through his watch. "I gotta go man. Mom's calling me," Henry told his boss. "Tell her I said hey?" Ray smirked. Henry rolled his eyes and ended the call before getting out of bed and walked downstairs.
Henry saw seven unfamiliar teens in their house but one girl caught his attention. She has (H/C) hair and piercing (E/C) eyes. They made eye contact and Henry could've swore his whole world stopped and it felt like air was knocked out of his system.
He quickly made his way towards the group of seven kids. "H-Hey," he stuttered and smiled at the (H/C) haired girl.
"Piper is renting our house to these kids, again," Siren Hart spoke. "Mom! These kids are gonna pay us money," Piper Hart spoke. "I-I mean if it's a problem, we can always just book a hotel room," a tall curly haired teen spoke as he stood next to to (H/C) haired girl. Henry furrowed his eyebrows once he noticed how close the two are.
"What are your names?" Jake Hart asked the group. "I'm Finn," the curly haired boy spoke, "These are Millie, Sadie, Caleb, Noah, Gaten and Y/N."
"Y/N," Henry said, testing the name roll out of his mouth which earned an eyebrow raise from the said girl and she smiled amusingly at him.
"Well if that's the case... You seven are allowed to stay here but," Siren turned to her kids, "We're gonna have to do the same thing we did when you rented our house before."
"I already booked a hotel for you," Piper smiled. The parents let out a sigh and went to their room to pack their things. "Wait, will it be alright if our son stays with you?" Jake asked. "Of course Mr Hart," Millie spoke.
Jake and Siren went to their room to pack which leaves Henry and Piper with the seven teens. "So guys, my name's Henry Hart and this is Piper," Henry introduced himself and shake the teens' hands.
"Do you guys wanna settle in or explore the town for a bit?" Piper asked. "I wanna rest," Sadie and Millie spoke. Y/N pouts, "C'mon let's explore town," she whined and grabbed onto Finn's hand and played it.
Her friends sighed. "How about I give you a tour around while your friends take a break," Henry offered. Y/N beamed and quickly shoved her bags towards Noah, grabbed Henry's hand and dragged him outside.
Y/N and Henry explored the streets of Swellview while chatting amongst themselves. "So what brings you here to Swellview?" Henry asked.
"I don't know. Finn was the one who dragged us all here, saying this town is great and we just went along with it," Y/N shrugged her shoulders. "Tell me something about you Henry," she added.
"Well I'm Henry Hart, I'm in the 12th grade, I go to Swellview High School. My favorite color is red and after I graduate I plan to leave town," Henry explained. "Wow, you have big plans for yourself," Y/N smiled. "What about you?" Henry asked.
"I'm Y/N L/N, I'm from New York, well specifically Los Angeles, but I moved to New York when I was around the 10th grade, in school I met my friends, the same freaks that you saw in your house. Every summer vacation we go to two places we've never been before and as I said, this time Finn chose to go to Swellview. Same as you I'm also a twelfth grader," Y/N explained.
"Are you living with your parents in NYC?" Henry questioned. "No," Y/N shook her head, "With my cousin."
"Good for you. You're living the independent life," Henry smiled at her, "How is it?"
"It's scary, to be honest. Living away from my parents but it's also a good thing since for me, growing up I want to do things my way, on my own. My parents are always gone so it's always me alone at home, I've lived by myself since then. Moving away was one of the great decisions I've made," Y/N replied.
"H-How long will you guys be staying here?" Henry mumbled. It's only been like two to three hours and Henry felt close with the (H/C) haired girl, unbeknownst to him, Y/N felt the same.
"A month," Y/N rubbed her head, "By next month I think we're going to Italy."
"Oh," Henry mumbled.
They passed by Junk 'N Stuff and Henry continued the tour. "This is where I work, I have a part time job ever since I was in the eighth grade," he explained.
Ray who is inside waved at Henry along with Schwoz, Charlotte and Jasper. Henry waved back and led Y/N inside.
"Hey Henry," Ray smiled. "Sup man," Henry replied and gave his boss a bro hug.
Jasper noticed Y/N awkwardly standing behind Henry and he smirked. "Sup pretty lady," he smirked while wiggling his eyebrows and staring at Y/N.
The (H/C) haired girl raised an eyebrow at Jasper and quickly turned to Henry, mentally asking for help. He luckily got the message and looked at Jasper, slapping his arm. "Knock it off dude," he hissed.
"Who's your new friend Henry?" Schwoz asked. "This is Y/N. She's renting my house along with six other teens," Henry explained. "Hey guys," Y/N waved.
"Hi! I'm Charlotte," Charlotte smiled and they shake hands. "I'm Ray, this is Schwoz and that kid over there is Jasper," Ray added. "It's a pleasure the meet you guys," Y/N smiled.
"So what, is this like the time those Game Shaker kids rented your house?" Charlotte asked. "Yeah, but they had our house for three days. This time, Y/N and her friends are staying with us for a whole month," Henry explained.
"So there are more of you?" Jasper asked. "Yeah. There are seven of us," Y/N said. "Ooh can we meet them?" Charlotte squealed. "Sure, I guess," Y/N mumbled.
Ray joined the teens and left Schwoz in charge at the store.
On the way back, Jasper, Charlotte and Ray asked questions towards Y/N, questions that Henry already asked before.
Upon reaching the front door, Henry opened the door for Y/N and they shared a smile before looking away with pink cheeks.
"Hey guys I'm back," Y/N called. She saw Gaten and Caleb passed out on the couch, Noah, Finn, Sadie and Millie all ran down the stairs, the two girls gave Y/N a hug. "What's wrong?" Y/N asked the two girls.
"Piper told us that a lot of crimes are happening in this town. We tried calling you but you left your phone with Finn," Millie said. "Yeah, we were just scolding Finn for bringing here without checking the crime rate," Sadie adds.
"Hey. In my defense, I never thought a lot of crimes are happening here. Like a lot a lot," Finn said while raising his hands in defeat.
"You guys are so loud," Caleb groaned as he moved around the couch but ended up falling on the floor. Gaten sat up and raised am eyebrow at the newcomers.
"Who are they?"
"Henry's friends. Charlotte and Jasper. This is Henry's boss, Ray," Y/N introduced. "Hey guys," Charlotte, Jasper and Ray smiled.
"Guys these are Finn, Noah, Gaten, Sadie, Millie and Caleb," Y/N adds. "Hello," they greeted.
As Y/N and Henry's friends sat around the couch and talked to each other, Y/N and Henry sat by the kitchen. Henry is making sandwiches for Y/N. "Thanks Hen," Y/N smiled after Henry placed a plate of two sandwiches in front of her.
"What's it like in New York?" Henry asked, he's been to New York when they rescued Double G from Dr Minyak, but he never had the time to sightsee around the famous city.
"It's amazing, I was in awe when I first arrived the city. Everyone is always doing something, people are always running around the streets, stores are open 24/7... A lot is happening around there," Y/N explained, "That's why New York is known as the city that never sleeps."
"Will you be my tour guide if I ever decide to go there?" Henry asked. "Sure," Y/N smiled.
The month was over and now the New Yorkers are about to leave Swellview to go to Italy for their next trip.
For the entire month, Henry and Y/N were attached to the hip, they became best friends. Henry also confirmed himself that Finn and Y/N aren't dating and it calmed his nerves down. He finally accepted the fact that he likes the (H/C) haired girl.
Y/N on the other hand is also starting to fancy the dirty blonde haired teen, whenever they so much as make eye contact, she couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach and seconds after that her face will start to blush. Sadie and Millie noticed that and confirmed to themselves that Y/N likes Henry.
The guys grabbed their suitcases and rolled them out of Piper's car. "Ready to go guys?" Caleb asked his friends. They looked around and saw Y/N and Henry hugging each other. "Awe," Millie and Sadie cooed. "Y/N's in love with Henry?" Noah asked. "And Henry's in love with Y/N?" Caleb adds.
Sadie and Millie glared at the guys and slapped their heads. "It's cute," Sadie says as they smiled at their friend.
Y/N and Henry pulled apart and smiled at each other. "I'm gonna miss you," Y/N said. "Me too Y/N. I've had a great time this month," Henry said, "You're pretty something."
Y/N smirked as she took a step closer to Henry, "You're pretty something yourself, Hart," she whispered before standing on her tiptoes and pressed a kiss on Henry's cheek.
Henry was frozen in his spot and he could've swore his cheeks are as red as tomatoes right now. "See you soon Henry," Y/N whispered. "S-See you," Henry stuttered.
He watched as Y/N walked to her friends and they were about to enter the airport.
Screw it, he thought as he left Piper's side and ran towards Y/N. He grabbed her arm and turned her around, their eyes met for a few seconds before Henry took a huge jump by pressing his lips against hers. Y/N returned the gesture and wrapped her arms around Henry's neck.
They can feel the crowd cheering and aweing at them, snapping pictures at the couple. Y/N and Henry pulled apart but are still smiling at each other.
"I'll wait for you," Henry said. "Yeah. We'll see each other again, Hen," Y/N smiled. They shared one last hug before they heard Y/N's flight about to leave in thirty minutes. "Bye," they said. Y/N ran after her friends and smiled at Noah who gratefully took her suitcase with him.
"That was adorable," Sadie and Millie squeaked in happiness. "You guys are so meant for each other," Millie adds.
"Girls," Finn playfully scoffed which earned a slap on the head from both Millie and Sadie.
*Timeskip*
It's been three months since Y/N and her friends stayed in Swellview.
Y/N and Henry have been talking endlessly everyday since. They sent texts, Facetime and call each other everyday. They also help each other do their homework. As of their relationship, they're taking things slow. Their parents know and are happy with each other and also love both teens for each other.
One day, Y/N sat around her room with Sadie and Millie. Y/N stared at the few polaroid pictures of her and Henry that's hanging in her room. She lets out a sigh of content and smiled.
She tore her eyes away from the pictures when she heard Sadie groan. "What's taking the guys so long?"
"Chill Sadie, they're taking their Psychology exam," Millie said. "Psychology takes time," Y/N added. "Well it's not our fault they decided to not show up in class and now they have to make up for their exam," Sadie adds, "I'm hungry. Can't we go ahead?"
"No," Millie and Y/N said in unison.
Finn, Noah, Gaten and Caleb didn't show up for their Psychology class, not knowing that they are having an exam that day.
The three girls waited for a few more minutes until Millie's phone chimed. "Is it the guys?" Sadie asked. Sadie and Y/N watched as Millie smiled and closed her phone. "Let's go," she said.
She grabbed onto Y/N's hand and dragged her outside. Sadie followed them as they left the building.
"Where are they?" Y/N asked while looking around for their guy friends.
She suddenly saw a familiar guy with dirty blonde hair across the streets. "Henry?" she whispered. The said guy walked across the streets with a bouquet of roses in his hand and he approached Y/N.
The (H/C) haired girl ran towards Henry and jumped in his arms. They shared a long hug as tears brimmed through Y/N's eyes at the sight of Henry Hart.
They pulled apart after a minute and stared at each other's eyes. "I... How did you... Why... Oh my God," Y/N couldn't form a proper sentence because of her shock.
"I just have to see you. I left Swellview to come to Nee York. Finn knows and he picked me up from the airport, and I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Noah, Gaten and Caleb also know," Henry chuckled. They turned around and saw their friends smiling at them, Millie and Sadie are fangirling.
"Anyways, these are for you," Henry gave the flowers to Y/N. She smiled and took the flowers from him, "I can't believe you're here," she said, "I missed you."
"I missed you too," Henry said. "Y/N... I have one very important question to ask you."
Y/N raised an eyebrow at him. "And that is?"
It caught her by surprise when Henry suddenly knelt down on one knee and held her hand. "Three months ago, I met this super amazing girl that completely changed my life. We were best friends until feelings got in the way between us, I wasn't sure if she actually liked me and it was proven that she does when we kissed at the airport before she left... Y/N, we've been apart for over two months and not a day has passed that you didn't cross my mind..."
Y/N breathed as her eyes watered once more as she smiled down at Henry.
"Y/N, long distance relationship is hard and you mentioned that you hate that kind of relationship, but I'm willing to take a risk when it comes to you... Will you be my girlfriend?"
Y/N wrapped her arms around Henry while repeatedly saying the word "yes".
Their friends cheered for them, Sadie and Millie captured the whole thing on video as they clapped their hands.
Y/N and Henry pulled apart and pressed their foreheads against each other and smiled. "I love you Y/N," Henry said.
"I love you too," Y/N replied.
They leaned forward until their lips touched and smiled at each other against the kiss.
