Crystals pov
I woke to the sun shining in my eyes. I slowly open them at look at the love of my life. He was still fast asleep. I just lay my head back on his chest and started tracing his protection tattoo with my index finger. After a while I felt him shift so I sat up so I was straddling him.
"well good morning mister Winchester"
He just opened his eyes and smiles a smile that melts my heart everytime I see it. I lean in and kiss him, which he gladly returns the favor.
"babe you should where my shirts more often to bed. Your sexy as fuck in them."
I just blush a deep shade of red. Damn he has changed me in a year. We all have changed. Since we found Jenny neither of us had to hunt so we all are living in a cabin about an hour away from Bobby's place. To keep up rent dean and Sam have started to fix cars, and I give out guitar lessons. It's Sunday so we didn't have to work and Jenny didn't have school. I made Jenny go back to school, she wasn't going to be a dropout like me.
"babe you OK? Your thinking really hard"
I look up at deans slightly worried face. I just nod. Then there was a big clash that came from downstairs. I quickly got off Dean and grabbed the rock salt gun we always have by our bedroom door. Dean grabbed the one that we kept in the hall closet just in case, then we crept down the stairs. We still heard a russeling downstairs so I did what any hunter would do. I ran down the stairs and shot near the figures in my kitchen.
"what the fuck Crystal!"
I look and see I was millimeters from blowing sams head off. There now was a giant whole in our wall. Jenny then came in from outside holding groceries. She looked shocked.
"fuck Sam! I thought you were a robber or worst!"
I just leaned the gun near the table. Then looked into the kitchen. Looks like they were baking a cake. But for what I didn't know? Dean then came up and wrapped his arms around me.
" happy birthday baby"
Shit Jenny told them. I haven't celebrated my birthday since I was 14. I just looked at my sister that has a smug look on her face.
"clean this up. No cakes we are going to treat this as a normal day"
I walked to the coffee maker and I started to make a pot. Jenny looked sad. She knew I hated any holiday. Especially my birthday since it landed on Halloween.
"babe let's have fun. Your turning 31."
"even more reason to not celebrate"
I made me a cup of coffee and sat at our kitchen table. Dean looked at me for a while then left the room. Sam sat at the table. I loved Sammy he was like my little brother. He just adored Jenny so much, I think he loved her more than siblings but I wasn't going to say anything.
"hey sis"
"hey bro"
"Jenny wants to hang with some friends I'll take her so you don't have to"
I just smiled to show Sam my appreciation and handed my keys to my hemi. Once they left I got dressed for the day in my usual attire. When I was done I went to go use my Harley so I could go into town. As I approached the garage I heard Dean talking to someone. I walked in because curiosity got the best of me. Dean was talking to Bobby with a scared espression on his face.
"hey Bobby is everything okay?"
"yeah but we need to talk about... You know what?"
I just went To grab my bike and leave. But before I left the couldn't help but see how worried dean looked.the whole ride into town I couldn't help but think about deans face. I pulled into where my only friend onyx wanted to meet. As I enter the coffee shop I spend at least twice a week at the coffee shop I was walking into. As I walked in the workers and onyx began to sing happy birthday. I just stood there pretending to be happy about the surprise, but I was far from it. When they were done onyx hugged me and handed me my usual coffee a white chocolate mocha with Carmel and whipcream on top. We sat at our usual booth and started to chat.
"So how are things with the family"
Onyx knew everything, even us being hunters.
"Good, I honestly couldn't be happier"
And it was true. I love how life is going for me. About a hour of us talking and catching up I left. On the way home I felt like I was being followed so I decided to pull over. Then I realized it was bobby in his truck. He came out and walked up to me.
"Shit bobby you scared me!"
He ignored me and just began to talk.
"Crystal I know things are going good for you, but we need to talk about Jenny. We never found out if she wasn't processed."
I cut him off.
"She isn't end of story. If she hasn't shown signs this long I doubt that she will."
It looked like he knew something I didn't.
"Have fun tonight. You deserve it"
Before I could ask him what he ment he was in his truck speeding off. I just pushed it to the side and continued my way home. When I got home there was a note taped to the door. Goddammit dean! I told him to pay the rent. What I read shocked me.
"Since you decided to try to steal my impala I'm going to try to steal your heart. This is the start of your present babe. Go to our room."
I did as I was told. There was a box on the bed with a note on it.
"I remember when you fell asleep in the impala. I fell for how beautiful you looked. I know you have wanted what's in this box for a while. Put it on then go to the kitchen."
When i opened the box there was a dress I have wanted for a while in there along with black heels. I got dressed and redid my makeup then proceeded to the kitchen. God this man was making me love him more everyday. When I got to the kitchen there was a peice of pie with a note taped to the plate.
"Remember when you made me a pie for the first time. I loved pie before but nothing beats your apple. (Ok maybe your cherry pie) go to the garage next babe
Ps you can eat the pie ;)"
I couldn't help but laugh as I walked to the garage. When I got there my car was all cleaned and repainted like I have wanted to do for months. There was a note taped to the hood.
"I remember buying you this mustang. You looked so happy. Thats how you make me feel everyday. Open the door then walk. I'm pretty sure you will know which way to go."
I smile like a idiot as I opened the door the the garage.when it opened I saw a trail of black, white, and red rose petals leading into the woods. After closing the door I began walking into the woods. After walking for a while I came up to an Opening that had a bonfire in The center surrounded by pillows and blankets. There were Christmas lights hanging from nearby trees. It was so beautiful. Jenny walked up to me with a gift In her hand. For hating my. Birthday I'm sure enjoying this. Sam walked next to Jenny, had a gift as well both huggede then sat next to the fire. I then felt two strong arms wrap around me, then a head rest on my shoulder.
"happy birthday babe"
I turned around to face Dean. He had a black dress shirt on and a nice pair of jeans. Jenny was wearing a nice dress like me and sam was wearing the same outfit as Dean but had a white dress shirt on.
"thanks for everything baby"
I kissed Dean then we both sat next to Sam and Jenny. Jenny motioned to her gift and I smiled to show my appreciation. When I opened it I saw something I thought in would never again. When Jennys Foster mom took me in she gave me a locket that was sliver and had my name ingraved into it. How Jenny found it I don't know. I sold it about three years ago so we had money.
" I called the lady you sold it to and was able to buy it back. I know how much it meant to you."
I hugged her really tight And put the necklace on. Sam handed me his gift next. I smiled at his. Sam got me a gift card to get a tattoo. I have always wanted one besides the protection one. I smile and hugged him to show my appreciation. Jenny then tapped my shoulder when I turn to face her she was holding a single red velvet cupcake with one candle in it.
"Make a wish sis"
I blew out the candle and we all just hung out and had fun for a while Intell dean looked at sam and and sam then looked at Jenny. Both quickly got up and said goodnight to us. I wonder what got into them. After a while of cuddling dean, he spoke.
" you haven't opened my gift yet babe"
"of corse I have you got my my dream dress and cleaned my car like I have wanted to do for months. I don't need anything else."
As Dean pulled me to my feet he spoke.
"Crystal the first time I saw you I wanted to murder you. But when Sam decided we were going to help you save Jenny I thought great now we get her baggage. But as time has went on I have found im ok carrying your baggage, hell I'll do anything for you crystal. Your the first girl I haven't had to worry about getting hurt with my kind of lifestyle, because I know you can beat the shit out of anything. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you crystal"
Then he got down on one knee and I had tears in my eyes.
" Crystal Rose Ramirez will you do me the honors of marrying me"
I just shook my head with tears of joy threatening to spill. He place the sliver band with one Little diamond on my finger then held me close. I stepped away slightly and kissed dean with as much passion as I could muster. The whole time this is happening I see a flash out of the corner of my eye. When we separate I see Jenny with her camera and sam looking happy as ever. Both hugged us and said there congratulations. We all then just watched the stars. Sam and Jenny fell asleep so it was just me and dean awake.
"Is this why you were so scared lookinh earlier?"
"Honestly yes. I was worried Jenny's plan wouldn't work."
"I knew you didn't write those notes by yourself"
He then smiled and kissed me. We just layed there enjoying the each other's company. Things were perfect I was marrying the man I love and my sister was safe
