Italics is flashbacks
—(Y/n) POV—
Catra and I walk through the halls of the fright zone and I keep getting flashes
A man with blonde hair and a women with brown hair. A black cat with a red collar
I decide to ignore those things
"Hey Catra? We've always shared a room with Adora right?" I ask
"Uh yeah when she got it we did a test to see if we all fit in the bed and we did, and shadow weaver didn't stop us from doing it" Catra says
"Oh" I say
I put my hands in my pocket and I feel a piece of paper and get more flashes
I was writing a note and I ripped it and I gave it to Catra and Adora and I leave the fright zone
"Did I ever leave the fright zone?" I ask
"Yeah to defeat thaymor" Catra says
"But it feels like I left here and I went to another place" I say
Catra pulls me into Adora's room and hugs me from behind
"Shorty look everything is perfect" Catra says
Catra walks in front of me and puts her hands on my shoulders and I look up at her
"See you have to look up at me to see me, that is how I know everything is perfect" Catra says
"That doesn't make sense" I say
"If you were tall that would suck" Catra says
"One day I'll grow taller than you" I say
"Not happening shorty" Catra says
Catra leaves the room and I get more flashes
Some tall blonde woman kicking me. Adora hugging me. Catra yelling at me. Catra nuzzling me. Catra slamming me against the wall. Catra slamming me against another wall
"Shorty!" Catra yells
"What what what happened?" I ask
"You didn't follow me and you started whimpering again" Catra says
"I uh I uh" I say
"Don't make me slap you" Catra says
"Please don't" I say
Catra takes my hand and pulls me out of Adoras room and we walk
"Are you getting these flashes?" I ask Catra
"What?" Catra asks
"Like these images of people and things that didn't happen" I say
"I don't think you got enough sleep" Catra says
"Yeah probably" I say
"I mean how do you sleep next to Adora? She kicks you in her sleep" Catra says
I have no idea what Catra is talking about but I go along with it
"Yeah yeah Adora does do that" I say
"We can sneak another mattress in" Catra says
"Why?" I ask
"So we can all sleep together and no one is being kicked and so you don't have to sleep in a ball" Catra says
"Yeah I guess we can do that" I say
I get some more flashes of me sleeping with Catra and then me sleeping in a bed with the boy with brown hair and green eyes
Hiccup
"Do you know someone named hiccup?" I ask
"Hiccup? That's a stupid name and no" Catra says
"But I swear I know him and I think he's my best friend-" I say
Catra punches my arm
"(Y/n) Adora and I are your best friends, not this hiccup guy" Catra says
"Yeah I ow guess" I say
"We've been best friends since we were three years old" Catra says
"Three? Where was I before then?" I ask
"Some rebel village and the Horde saved you from the evil princesses" Catra says
I get an awful flash of two people laying on the ground and a crying child looks at them and that child is me
"I could have sworn I left the Horde" I say
Catra grabs my arms and hugs me from behind
"You never left and you never will leave because me you and Adora look out for each other" Catra says
"I-sorry" I say
Catra stops hugging me and we continue to walk
I get flashes of a family eating dinner and they're all happy and I'm there laughing with them
"I had a family" I say
"(Y/n) you did but they're gone and you have me and Adora now" Catra says
I get a flash of me and some other people dancing with a banner that says "senior prom" on it
"I had a group of friends and we were dancing at prom" I say
"Prom? Like princess prom?" Catra asks and laughs
"No, it's like a prom for kids, I don't remember but I-" I say
Catra puts her hands on my shoulders and shakes me
"(Y/n) please just stay calm" Catra says
"I'm sorry but everything is just so weird today" I say
"Then just relax and we'll get some more sleep tonight and if we work together we can roll Adora off the bed without waking her up and then we can get the bed" Catra says
I get a flash of sleeping with Catra on a bunk bed and another flash of sleeping with Adora on the bottom bunk
"Yeah yeah wait Adora will kill us" I say
Catra wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me close
"Shhh don't tell her" Catra says
I touch her hand and she purrs but it's Catra so she pulls away
We walk and Catra and I talk to some other cadets and I see Adora
"Hey ad-" I say
"Catra, (Y/n)" Adora says
"Adora" Catra says
Adora grabs me and Catras arms tightly and shoves us into closet
(I just re read that and uhhh enjoy it)
"Adora ow" I say
"Hey! You've officially lost it, haven't you?!" Catra says
"Listen, we have to go. Now! Scorpia, Lonnie, Kyle, Rogelio, they're all gone" Adora says
"Kyle?" I ask
I get another flash but this one is nice
Kyle and I were hugging
"What are you talking about? Who's gone?" Catra asks
"Adora what's going on?" I ask
"They're gone! There's nothing left. And we'll be next if we don't get out of here right now" Adora says
"Then lets go" I say
"You and (Y/n) aren't making any sense. Everything's fine, okay? It's--" Catra says
"Don't say it's perfect! I know it's not perfect, and so do you two!" Adora says
I get some flashes of a women with purple hair getting tasered
"Adora's right! This isn't right! I don't being here!" I say
"You two have gone crazy. I'm not going anywhere" Catra says
"Catra please" I say
"Catra" Adora says
Adora grabs a taser and I step back
"What are you--?!" Catra yells
Adora tasers Catra and Catra falls into Adoras arms and Adora picks her up and runs and I run beside her
"What the fuck is that?!" I yell
I look behind us and I see a purple light consuming everything
"The reason why we have to keep going!" Adora says
We get into a vehicle room and Adora puts Catra on a skiff and Adora gets some keys and I get on the skiff and I another flash
I was seven and I took a skiff and I left
I snap out of it and Adora flies away from the fright zone and I nearly fall off the skiff and Adora grabs my arm and pulls me into her and I hold onto her waist

We fly through and I get more flashes
I crash a skiff and I'm at a village. I hold hands with a boy. I see some adults
I shake my head hold onto Adoras waist tighter
Unfortunately Catra wakes up and grabs the taser and I let go of Adora and I try to grab the taser with Adora
"Catra, NO!" Adora yells
We continue to fly around and we eventually crash
Catra runs for the taser and Adora grabs her and puts her in a headlock
"Catra, you can't. We need to get as far from the Fright Zone as possible or we'll be completely erased along with everything else" Adora says
"Catra just listen-" I say
"You think you can convince me by kidnapping me?! What is wrong with you?" Catra says and throws Adora off of her and Adora kicks the taser
"I won't leave you two behind again" Adora says
"What are you talking about?" I ask
"Why can't you two just stay? We have everything we ever wanted" Catra says and grabs my arm and pulls me closer to her
"Catra let go of me" I say
"It's not real, Catra. As much as I wish that things could be simple the way they used to be, there's no going back" Adora says
Catra runs and I get pulled along and Adora tackles us both and I yelp in pain
"Ow what the fuck you two" I yelll
"Why did you do it?" Adora asks
I get a flash of Catra pulling some lever
"What the fuck are you talking about?" I ask
"Me and (Y/n) don't know what you're talking about!" Catra says
Purple light consumes the forest and I get scared
"There's no time. We have to go!" Adora yells
"I'm fucking out of here" I say
I try to run but Adora grabs my arm and pulls me back
"We promise. Everything will be okay if we all just stay together" Adora says
"Adora's right Catra" I say
"Help us fix this. Please! This can't be what you wanted!" Adora says
"Don't you get it?! I am never going to go with you! And (Y/n) is coming with me!" Catra says
Catra attempts to grab my arm but Adora pushes me back to protect me and Catra starts laughing like crazy
"You always have to go and ruin it, don't you?" Catra says
"What do you mean Catra?" I ask
Catra extends her claws and attacks Adora and I back away and watch them fight
"Guys stop!" I say
"Catra, look what's happening! You're going to destroy everything!" Adora says
"Catra please" I beg
"I don't care. I won't let you win. I'd rather see the whole world end than let that happen. And I won't let (Y/n) leave me again" Catra says
"Catra you're fucking insane" I say
The ground shakes and Adora grabs my arm and Catra grabs Adoras jacket and tries to pull her into the purple light
"Catra, no!" Adora and I yell
Catra lets go and is holding onto a rock
"Catra! Hang on!" I yell
"Catra" Adora yells
Catra falls and I know she's dead
"Come on we have to go" I say
We both run into the woods crying and Adora stops and hugs me and cries into my shirt
She hugs tighter and tighter and it hurts a lot but we're both hurting after losing Catra
Some weird old purple lady comes up to us
"Oh, is that you, Mara? You made it after all, and you brought a friend" the weird old purple lady says
"Uhh I'm (Y/n)" I say
"Ah a friend of Mara" the weird old purple lady says
"Madame Razz" Adora says
We start walking with Razz
"It's been such a long time since we last saw each other, hasn't it? That or...it hasn't happened yet. I always get those two things mixed up" Razz says
"I couldn't save anyone else and (Y/n) came with me" Adora says
"It's not too late. You can still bring them back, but you must act quickly" Razz says
"Adora what is she saying?" I whisper to Adora
Adora lightly elbows me and I shut up
"How do you know all of this?!" Adora asks
"Because this has all happened before! I remember it like it was yesterday. For Madame Razz, it was yesterday" Razz says
I'm so confused by all of this, why is Adora so weird?
"This happened before...with Mara!" Adora says
"Yes, dearie. When she moved Etheria and took away the stars. Heh, it was crazy" Razz says
"It's all my fault. I've been so afraid of becoming another Mara. Destroying the world the way she did...and now...it's happening" Adora says
Razz hits Adora with her broom and I laugh and Adora looks at me angrily and I shut up
"Destroy the world? No. Mara saved the world, and so will you. But you can't waste any more time. You need to go back to the beginning. You need to find the sword. That is the only way this will stop!" Razz says
"I did that, didn't I? I went back to the Fright Zone. The portal wasn't there!" Adora says
I'm just standing there not knowing what to do
(Sad and awkward introvert hours)
"No, that wasn't the beginning. You need to go back to the very beginning" Razz says
"Like when she was born?" I whisper
"I-I-I don't understand" Adora says
"That's all right, dearie. You don't need to understand. You just need to remember" Razz says
"I have to remember...Bow and Glimmer. I need to find them!" Adora says
"Go on, dearie! Quickly!" Razz says
We run through the woods
"What the fuck are we doing!?" I ask
"We're finding my friends and I'm not leaving you (Y/n)!" Adora says
I keep running through the woods with Adora
I get more flashes of me and my friends from Berk laughing and running
"Adora do you know where we're going?" I ask
"Yes and we're almost there!" Adora says
We arrive at Bright moon and I get some awful flashbacks
Bright Moon was destroyed
"Come on" Adora says
Adora tries to climb the castle
"Adora! You idiot! We're going to get caught!" I say
"Hey what are you two doing here!" A voice yells
Da-da we're dead
