3RD PERSON POV

Mei walked took a stroll around town. She wore a dress like yesterday only it was baby blue along with her glasses instead of her contacts. She had the same basket as before and she had a white straw sun hat. She hummed a little tune while she walked
"Mei!" A voice called. It was male and it belonged to someone around Mei's age.
"Yes?" Mei asked, she turned around and saw a boy named Aidan holding some flowers. She quickly turned around. "Aidan I don't want to talk to you," She said. She started walking again, just a little faster
"What? Come on, I didn't even get to say anything," Aidan Gallagher huffed (Yes the guy from The Umbrella Academy. Don't worry, he won't be a complete asshole in this :) Because this is fiction and in this, he will actually own up to his mistakes)
"Well, I don't have to talk to you to know that you're gonna say some shitty pickup line as a sad excuse of flirting," Mei said. She had a past with Aidan. Aidan was the first friend Mei made in Canada. Aidan was in the same situation as Mei. His family would go to Canada for the summer and other breaks. They got a house there to make their time there more comfortable. They got along, but Aidan started taking a liking to Mei. Mei just liked being friends, but Aidan was extremely pushy. At first, Aidan gave her flowers he picked from his mom's garden in the front yard. When they turned 11, Aidan would try to visit Mei every day she was in Canada and even tried sending her a letter when she was in California. He had since slowed down and tried talking to her every time he sees her. If Mei was having a nice day, she would talk to Aidan because he wasn't that bad, he just was a little obsessive
"I was actually gonna ask if I can buy you a drink? What do you like? Coffee, tea, chocolate milk?" Aidan asks. He took out his wallet. He was fully ready to splurge for Mei
"No thank you. My grandpa made some tea today. I'm gonna drink that when I get home," Mei stopped and said. She gave him a kind smile. "But thank you though," She started walking again. She was just trying to get to the library to get another book
"Well, do you want to hang out later? I got some new games for VR. You can come over and we can play" Aidan said. "Also, these are for you," He said. He handed her a bouquet of white roses and gave her a toothy smile
Mei puts the flowers in her basket. "I'll think about it," Mei said. She let out a sigh. "I like you, I really do. But, I think you need to chill a little. You don't need to spend money for me or get me gifts. I'm a simple girl. And I'm sorry if I seem a little harsh today," She gave him a little peck on the cheek. As a friendly gesture
"Well, instead of VR, maybe we could have a jam session?" Aidan asked. His cheeks were dusted with a light pink blush. "You could sing and I'll play the guitar,"
"That would be nice," Mei said. "I should get going. I really need to return a book. I'll see you around," Mei waved and started walking in the direction of the library
TIME SKIP
7:00 pm
Mei went to a restaurant to get takeout. She put down the bike stand and went it. She told the employee that she got takeout. The employee nodded and walked off to get it for her. Mei stood by the entrance, waiting for the food
"Mei?" A familiar voice said
Mei looked over and saw sitting at a table. "Oh, hi Jack," she said
The others looked over at her
"You just seem to always be bumping into us," Jack said
"Yeah, it seems so," Mei said as she walked towards them
"What brings you here?" Chosen asks
"I got takeout and it looks like you guys are choosing what you're getting. I highly recommend the calamari," Mei said with a small smile
"Hey, so, we have a free day tomorrow, so the producers can go over the footage," Jaeden said. "We're just gonna go around town. Would you want to join us?"
"Sorry. I can't," Mei said she frowned. "My grandma's hip hurts and my grandpa can't drive, so I have to take on all the chores for tomorrow. But if I see you guys around I'll say hi "
"Alright, we'll, maybe, see you tomorrow," Jaeden said
"Bye," Mei said. She grabbed the takeout from the employee and walked out of the restaurant

Mei got ready for the day. She made her bed and wrote things down in her journal. She searched her closet for something to wear. She decided to wear another dress. It was light pink and had thin red striped going across it
Mei puts up her hair in a half up half down ponytail using a white hair clip. She walked downstairs and made her grandma breakfast. Toast, tamagoyaki, apple slices, and a cup of green tea
She brought the food on a tray to her grandma's room. She opened the door. "Sobo. I brought breakfast," She grabbed placed the tray of food on the bedside table and opened the blinds. "I'm gonna do chores now. I'll leave around noon to get groceries," She said
"There's money on the dinner table and a grocery list. Don't overwork yourself Mei" She said. She sat up slowly and started eating her food. "I'll see you at dinner,"
Mei left the room and got downstairs. She opened the storage closet under the stairs. She grabbed all the cleaning supplies and started cleaning. It took her around two hours to finish cleaning and water the plants. Mei looked at her to-do list
She grabbed got her straw purse and put her money and phone inside. She walked over to the living room where her grandpa was watching a tennis game. "I'm going now Sofu," She said. She kissed his cheek and went to the backyard where she kept her bike. She led it out of her backyard, through the side gate, and got on. She rides off to the nearest grocery store
She parked her bike near the bike racks and went inside. She looked at the grocery list and got everything on there. And maybe a little something for herself. Like a pack of gushers. She paid for everything and grabs the bags. They were quite heavy, but she managed
"Thank you, miss," Aidan thanked the cashier. He got a pack of gum from the grocery store. He pocketed his change and gum. As he was exiting the store he saw Mei struggling with the groceries. He approached her and asked. "Need help?"
"Oh, hi Aidan," Mei said. She handed him a bag. "What were you doing here?" She asked. She walked to her bike
"I wanted some gum" Aidan responded. He placed the bag in the basket on Mei's bike. "Where you heading off to now?"
"Well, I need to pick up my grandma's medication," Mei placed the other bag in the basket. "Do you mind watching the bags while I get the medicine?"
"Oh, yeah, sure," Aidan said
"Alright. Be right back," Mei said. She hugged him for a second before walking inside the store again, this time going to the pharmacy
Aidan stood still when she hugged him. When she walked away, he smiled. "What a woman," He said in a love-struck way. He was definitely in love with her
Mei came back a few minutes later. She placed the medicine inside the basket. "I need to go to the bakery. Would you like to come with me?" She asks him. She got on her bike, ready to go
"Sure!" Aidan said. He got on his bike and he rode off to the bakery with Mei
TIME SKIP
Mei laughed as she rode her bike down the streets of Port Hope. They still had a little ways to go to in order to get to the bakery, but Aidan had been goofing off the entire time he was with her
"Mei you need to laugh more. Your laugh is beautiful!" Aidan said, love-struck. "And I'm being honest, really. I would give anything to hear you laugh like that every single day,"
"Thank you, Aidan," Mei said. She blushed lightly. She did recognize her attractiveness, but it was nice to have others compliment her. It gave her a confidence boost and a large dose of serotonin
"Hey! Mei! Mei!" Another voice called from the sidewalk. It was Wyatt
Mei stopped her bike. "Oh, hi guys!" she said. She wheeled her bike over to the sidewalk where they were walking. "What's up?" She asks
"I thought you were doing errands," Jaeden asked. He was confused because he saw her laughing and it looked like she was just having a bike ride through the town
"Who are these guys?" Aidan asked. He stopped when he saw Mei stop. He wheeled his bike over to her. He looked at the group of seven kids Mei was talking to. Just by their first words of the conversation, he assumed they knew each other
"Aidan, these are the people I met because I accidentally ruined the scene they were filming," Mei said. "Guys, this is Aidan. He's the first friend I made when I came to Canada," She looked at Aidan and smiled
Jaeden saw the way they looked at each other. He never saw that in his dream. He got jealous, but, should he really be jealous? They don't know each other. He just saw her in a dream. It can be that important, right?
"You're that one guy from that show, right?" Beverly asked
"Yup. Nice to meet you guys," Aidan nodded with an annoyed sigh. He hated when that's all people knew him for. He looked at Jaeden and saw he was staring at Mei. "Hey Mei, let's go. You need to get home quick remember?" He got back on his bike. "The bakery isn't too far away,"
"What can I talk to Mei for a little?" Jaeden asks
"Alright, sure," Mei said. She got off her bike and followed Jaeden a little ways away from the others
"Can I visit you tonight? Or like around five?" Jaeden asks Mei. "I need to tell you something really important. I won't be long, but I really need to tell you something,"
"Sure? If it's really important I guess," Mei said. "I'll see you then," She gave him a smile. She didn't really mind because he seemed like it was important to him so, she agreed. "I gotta go, I need to check if my grandparents are still okay," Mei took out a pen and paper from her purse and wrote her address. She gave it to Jaeden
"Alright, I'll see you later. Also, it's Wyatt's birthday tomorrow. If you want to swing by the park and say hi Wyatt would like that. He thinks you're pretty cool," Jaeden said
The two of them walked back to the group. Jaeden continued walking with the rest of the cast and Mei got on her bike and rode off with Aidan
TIME SKIP
5:30 pm
Ocean put on her apron and took out a pot. She was gonna make some curry, her and her grandma's favorite dish. She got her knife out and all the vegetables she picked from her grandma's garden and other ingredients she bought, all washed. She was about to cut the potatoes, but a knock interrupted her
She put down the knife and went to the front door. She looked through the window to see who it was. It was Jaeden. She opened the door. "Hey Jaeden. I was just about to cook dinner. Come in. Come in," She said. She stepped aside
Jaeden walked into her house. He looked around. It looked really nice and matched Mei's aesthetic perfectly. "Sorry I came on such short notice," He apologized. "I just really needed to tell you something,"
"It's alright," Mei said. She closed the door and led Jaeden to the kitchen. She picked her knife back up. She started to cut her vegetables. "So what did you want to tell me?" She asked
"Well, it might sound crazy but, I saw you in my dream," Jaeden said. He had a serious look on his face. He was not kidding
Mei looked at him and laughed. "Alright, you're really funny. What did you really want to tell me and be honest, this time," She said. She continued cutting her vegetables. A smile remained on her face
"I'm serious. Did you already pick out a gift for Wyatt's birthday yet? I can tell you exactly what you're gonna give him tomorrow," Jaeden said. He got closer to Mei. At first he was across the counter from her. Now he was six feet away
"Yeah, I put it together an hour ago. What will I gonna give him tomorrow?" Mei asked. She was a little skeptical, but was starting to believe him. She didn't want to just believe him and have it end up being a joke
"Jam, a painting, a book, and candy," Jaeden said
"Holy shit. No way. That has to be a coincidence," Mei said. She was shocked. She set down her knife and looked at Jaeden. "You actually saw me in your dream. H- how?" She asks
"I don't know, the day before I met you, I dreamed of you! All up to when I left on the fourteenth and just you!" Jaeden said. "I'm guessing that you're someone that's gonna be important to me," He grabbed Mei's hand and looked at her with eyes that said, 'Believe me please'
"Okay, I believe you. But that's so interesting!" Mei said. "Hold on," She ran upstairs and grabbed her journal and wrote it down. "I heard of this but, I never imagined that I'd be the one someone dreamed about," She wrote down the details. "Thank you for telling me this. By the way, when are you leaving Port Hope again?"
"The fourteenth," Jaeden said
"I can't talk to you much tomorrow because my grandma's hip still hurts, but I'll try," Mei said. "I'll see if there's anything I can find online to see what this means," She smiled at him
"Alright," Jaeden said. "I should go now. I'll see you tomorrow," He smiled back. The two of them walked to the door and Jaeden gave her a quick hug before leaving
What a strange day
