3RD PERSON POV

July 13, 2016

3:00 pm

Mei got had already given her grandma everything she needs. A book to read, food, her medicine, water in a pitcher, and a glass. She placed Wyatt's gift in her bike basket, wheeled it to her bike onto the sidewalk, and started biking to the park

She hummed a little tune while she biked. It was a nice sunny day with a light breeze. She wore a white dress with a light blue flower pattern. She got to the park right after they finished dancing to a song

"Hey Mei!" Wyatt said

Mei got off of her bike and grabbed his gift. "Hi, guys!" She said. She laid her bike down in the grass and walked over to them

Everyone greeted her when she got there

"I can't stay long, but I got you something. It's not much, but I hope you like it," Mei said with a smile. She handed the gift to Wyatt. "Happy Birthday!"

Wyatt took the gift. "Thank you!" He said. He set it on the table. "You really can't stay for the cake?"

"Sorry, I got more errands to run. If you guys want, you can come over my place later and I can make some tea, hot chocolate, or something. If it isn't too short notice," Mei said

"We'll see. Thank you for the gift!" Wyatt said. "We'll maybe see you later, and if we do, we'll probably have to bring Andy as adult supervision,"

"Alright, it's fine,' Mei said. She waved bye and biked off

7:00 pm

Jaeden, Wyatt, Chosen, Jeremy, Jack, Sophia, Finn, and Andy all arrived at Mei's house. Mei let them in. Her grandparents were already in their room, they'd probably sleep soon. Mei made sure they had their medication and some water

"Hey, glad you can make it," Mei said. She let them in and led them to the kitchen. "What drinks do you want? I have tea, hot chocolate, coffee. My grandpa made some Thai tea and it's amazing,"

Sophia, Jack, Jeremy, and Wyatt got a hot chocolate

Jaeden, Finn, and Chosen got tea

Andy got a coffee

Mei made the hot chocolate using milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and chocolate chips. While that was all melting and getting to know each other she seeped the tea in hot water. She also made Andy's coffee using a coffee machine

Once everything was done, she Mei poured herself a cup of Thai tea and served everyone their drinks

"Where's your parents?" Andy asked Mei. He took a sip of the coffee. It was good because the brand was good

"Oh, they're actors in a horror movie in Japan. We usually make a trip here to Canada every summer together, but they couldn't make it," Mei said. Saying it made her a little sad, but she understood. It's not her career

"So you're just here by yourself?" Andy questioned

"No, I have my grandparents. They start sleeping around this time," Mei answered. She took a sip of her drink

"You always seem to be independent? How old even are you?" Sophia asks

"I'm thirteen. And I do errands around the town because my grandma doesn't have a car here and her hip gets hurt a lot. My grandpa can't drive anymore because he gets distracted easily nowadays," Mei said. She remembered the time her grandpa almost got into a car crash with her in the car

"What's your parents' names?" Jaeden asks

"Masaki and Haruka Hashimoto," Mei said

Before anyone could say anything Andy checked his phone. "Guys, we need to go now. Thank you for the drinks, Mei,"

The others thanked her as well

"It was nothing. Have a nice night guys," Mei said

3:50 pm

Mei grabbed her purse and quickly biked over to the bakery she always went to. Jaeden was leaving and before he left, she wanted to give him her number so they can keep talking. If she was important to him, she wanted to check in on him to see if he'll ever dream of her again also she wants to just get to know him more

Jaeden asked Mei to meet him at the bakery she went to on the day she met him, the same one he saw in his dream. He was supposed to leave at 4, but due to some inventory problems, it's been delayed

Mei got to the bakery at 4. She placed her bike on the bike rack. She went into the bakery and saw Jaeden at a table. "Jaeden!" She said. She sat down at the table. "Hope I'm not too late,"

"No, you're okay," Jaeden said. "So, I'm leaving in fifteen minutes. What do we do? We don't know if we'll ever cross paths again,"

"Well, give me your numbers and after I finish filming, we can message each other," Jaeden said

Mei wrote down her number and handed it to Jaeden. "Can you give your number too?" She asked

"I don't have it memorized. And I don't have my phone on me," Jaeden said. "Sorry,"

"It's fine," Mei said. "Maybe you'll dream of me again. I'll be waiting for your text," She smiled at him

"Maybe I will. I'll tell you all about it," Jaeden said. He got up from his seat and walked over to Mei

Mei stood up when he went over to her. She felt his arms pull her in for a tight embrace. She hugged back and smiled. "We'll meet again one day. I swear," She said

Jaeden pulled from the hug. "I know we will. I gotta go now. Goodbye," He said

The two of them walked out of the bakery. The van was waiting for the cast to get in. They looked at each other

"Wait, can I get a picture of you?" Mei asks. "I just wanted something to keep with me for the time being," She took out her Polaroid camera from her bag

"Alright, sure," Jaeden said with a chuckle. He smiled for the camera

Mei took his picture and smiled. Once it was printed, she shook it and put it in her bag to let it develop. She hugged him. "Bye Jaeden," She said

Jaeden hugged her back. "Bye Mei," He said. The hugged lasted a few more seconds before Andy said they had to go. Jaeden got into the car. He waved one last time out the window of the van

Mei waved back and watched the van drive off. Right before it turned the corner, a piece of paper flew out the window. Mei quickly caught it and looked at it. It was her number. She cursed at herself and started tearing up a bit. She wiped the tear and decided to leave it up to fate to see if she'll see Jaeden again
