i was looking for a pencil in my bag, and i found a journal at the bottom, under my science textbook.

the fake journal.
the journal that i give jack to read.
the journal that i thought jack had with him.
he definitely took the one he was reading that day with him.
but if this one is here in my bag, then...

it's possible that he didn't leave with my journal.
