I wake up beside Adora and I see Catra sleeping at our feet
(Plot twist 3: this is a Adora x reader x Catra fic)
(I'll make many fake plot twists muawahaha)
"What the fuck" I whisper
I some weird quick flashes
I was flying on a skiff
Catra wakes up and Adora starts to fight in her sleep and Catra and I sit in front of her
"Adora? Adora!" Catra says
Adora wakes up and pushes us both and Catra grabs her wrists
"Adora calm down" I say
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! A-Adora! Heh. Since when do you sleep in?" Catra asks
"Yeah you usually wake up at some ungodly hour and then you wake us up" I say
"Where am I? How did I get here?" Adora asks
"Uh, you're in our room. Are you okay?" Catra asks
I get another flash
It was an empty green room and then another flash with Catras arm around my waist
"I...I'm fine. I was just having a weird dream. There was something I needed to fix" Adora says
"Of course you dream about work. There's nothing to fix, Adora. Everything's perfect" Catra says
"Yeah I'm pretty sure Adora is the only one who actually likes work" I jokingly say
Adora playfully kicks me and I laugh
"Yeah...it was just a dream" Adora says
"Come on, get up" Catra says
Catra pulls me and Adora both up and Adora tries to grab us but we run out
"Adora" Catra calls out
Adora joins us and we all start walking down the halls and Adora is in between Catra and I
I get another flash
Catra and Adora both hugging me
Soldiers start to salute her and cheer for her and I'm just as confused as Adora is
"What are they all looking at?" Adora asks
"I'm guessing you?" I say
"You! The invasion of Thaymor went perfectly. You're the hero of the hour" Catra says
"Thaymor...Oh...Yeah! I defeated the rebel insurgents at Thaymor. Yeah. I did that" Adora says and I walk beside Catra
"Oh, please, you couldn't have done it without me and (Y/n)" Catra says
Catra puts one arm around Adora and the other around me
"Right...What would I ever do without you two?" Adora says
Adora elbows Catra and we both accidentally crash into a Soldier and I back away but Adora puts her hand on my shoulder to stop me from going back any further
"Hey. Watch where you're going, twerps" the soldier says
He looks and sees Adora and he freaks out
"Force Captain! I didn't know you were—I'm so sorry" the soldier says
"You'd better be. Dismissed" Adora says and the soldier walks away
Adora Catra and I all laugh
"What an idiot" I say while laughing
"Oh! Force Captain! Don't hurt me!" Catra says and we all laugh
"Too good!" Catra says
"Yeah way too good" I say
"Where are we going again?" Adora asks
"Somewhere" I say
"What (Y/n) is saying is we're going to the locker room. There's something we wanna show you" Catra says
"Oh right yeah the locker room" I say
"Then why are we going the long way around? Let's take the side door right—Huh?" Adora says
"What are you talking about?" I ask
"What? It's always been this way. Are you sure you're okay?" Catra asks
"Yeah, I'm okay" Adora says
Catra grabs Adora's face and looks at it
"Heheh Catra what are you doing?" I ask
"Do you have a concussion or something? I know you get hit on the head a lot, but I figured your dumb little hair poof would cushion the blow" Catra says
"What is the point of that poof? Catra is right it's dumb" I jokingly say
"I'm fine, okay? Don't make me kick your asses" Adora says
"As if you could" Catra says
Adora crashes into me and Catra and they play fight while I watch but Catra grabs my arm and gets me involved
We continue to push each other around and we enter the locker room
"Surprise" Lonnie yells
Rogelio hisses
"Surprise" Kyle says
I get a flashback of me and Kyle hugging
I shrug it off
Kyle holds out a cake of ration bars with Adora's face drawn into it
"What is this? Are those ration bars?" Adora asks
"We wouldn't have been able to defeat the rebels at Thaymor without you. Plus, you were the one who talked Shadow Weaver into letting us come. So, we all pitched in, took Kyle's ration bars for a week, and made this" Lonnie says
"(Y/n) split her bars with me so we're both hungry, but celebrating your victory is worth it" Kyle says
"Yeah totally worth it" I say
"You guys! You even got the gray kind, it's way better than the brown kind" Adora says and hugs Kyle and Lonnie
"Hey, it was Catra and (Y/n)s idea!" Lonnie says
"Oh yeah?" Adora says and Catra walks over to us
"It's whatever" I say
"Eh, whatever, don't make a big deal about it" Catra says
"Wow, I can't believe you guys like me, that is so embarrassing for you two" Adora says
Adora tries to grab me but I dodge her attempt and she grabs Catra and noogies her
"Ow! Ugh, stop it! Get off! This is not because I like you!" Catra says
Adora grabs me and Catra tackles us both to the ground and Kyle drops the ration bar cake
"No. No, no, no!" Kyle says
"Oh, come on, Kyle!" Lonnie says
"Sorry" Kyle says
Catra and I both get up and start throwing the destroyed ration bar cake around
We both get some of the ration bar stuff and I hold mine and I get ready to shove it in Catras face
"Hang on. You got something riiight there!" Catra says and shoves ration bar stuff in Adora's face
We laugh and I shove ration bar stuff in Catras face and she laughs and does the same
"Adora! Get off the floor. You are the Force Captain who sacked Thaymor" Shadow Weaver says
I get many flashbacks of Shadow Weaver hurting us
But I'm sure it's nothing
"Sorry, Shadow Weaver" Adora says
We all get up and Catra and I look at each other nervously
"And you two" shadow weaver says
She puts her hands on our faces gently
"Look at you. You two are mess. Go get cleaned up. You two are no longer children. I have high hopes for you three. Do not wasted your time on such foolish games" Shadow Weaver says
"Yes, Shadow Weaver" Catra and I both say in sync
"Adora, come with me" Shadow Weaver says
Adora looks at us and we smile and Adora goes off with Shadow Weaver
Catra and I walk out of the locker room
"Do you think Adora's ok?" I ask
"She's fine (Y/n), it's Adora, she's always paranoid" Catra says
"What do you think the next village we attack will be?" I ask
"I think it's called Berk" Catra says
I get many flashbacks of a boy with brown hair and green eyes and a black cat and some people getting tasered and a party and me and the boy laughing. The boy and I dancing. The boy and I laughing
"(Y/n)! Hey don't get weird on me to" Catra says
"What? What was I doing?" I ask
"You were whimpering" Catra says
"Oh sorry" I say
"Ugh stop apologizing for literally everything you do or say" Catra says
I flinch and I'm about to apologize but I don't
"Well I just do that a lot and I don't know why" I say
We continue to walk and nearly trip but Catra grabs my arm before I fall
"Be careful, you're smaller than me and Adora and you bruise make easily" Catra says and punches my arm
"You're also smaller than Adora" I say
Catra scoffs and punches me again and we see Adora freaking out
"Adora? Adora! What is wrong?" Catra asks
"Yeah you've been acting so weird" I say
"Did you two write this?" Adora asks
We look at blank piece of paper
"Did I write a blank piece of paper? I'm gonna go with no" Catra says
"Hmmm I don't remember writing literally nothing" I sarcastically say
"No, there was something—Something there, I—I think. And then I was running. Why was I running?" Adora says
"Adora calm down its ok" I say
"Okay, okay, calm down" Catra says
"I can't calm down. There's something I keep forgetting, there's something I-I'm supposed to fix. I remember a sword, a b-bright light, and you were there—" Adora says
Catra slaps Adora
"Ow! What was that?" Adora asks
"Sorry! You were freaking out and it was freaking us out!" Catra says
"Well, you didn't have to slap me!" Adora says
"Hey I'll make it even and slap (Y/n)!" Catra says and grabs my arm and pulls me closer
"Wait what?" I ask nervously
"What don't" Adora says
"Come on, let's get you outside, you need some air" Catra says
Catra grabs Adora wrist and pulls her and I follow
"Air will help, it always helps me" I say
"No, Catra (Y/n), I don't need-" Adora says
We suddenly get on the roof area and I'm sitting beside Adora
"Air" Adora says
"What the fuck" I whisper
"How did we get here?" Adora asks
"We just did?" I say confused
"We climbed up...like we always do. Don't you remember?" Catra asks
I get a flash of Catra holding me over the edge of this place
"I don't know what's happening to me. It's like I'm losing my mind" Adora says
"You just need to relax" Catra says
"Yeah Adora just relax it always helps, It's going to be ok Adora" I say
Adora looks at me and then looks back down
"Yeah... Yeah, you guys are probably right. I'm--I'm fine. Everything's fine" Adora says
I get a flash of a bloody arm
I shake my head and ignore it
"Of course I'm right. Everything's perfect. Soon, the three of us are gonna be ruling Etheria together, just like we always planned" Catra says
"Is that what you really want? To rule the world?" Adora asks
"I-I-" I try to say
"I—I mean, yeah, obviously... Isn't that what you want, too?" Catra asks
"I don't know" Adora says
"Yeah I don't know either" I say
"Don't you guys flake out on me now. This is what we always wanted. Everything will be perfect as long as we all stay together" Catra says
"What if we don't stay together? What if it all goes wrong?" Adora asks
I get a flash of me driving a skiff and me talking to a boy with brown hair and green eyes
"Why can't you see that?!" Adora asks
Adora gets up and so do I
Catra grabs my hand and then Adoras hand
"Adora! Stay with us, okay? You're just seeing things. It's all in your head" Catra says
"Catra I-" I say
"Adora! Catra! (Y/n)! Thought we'd find you up there. Get down here! We got big news" Lonnie shouts
We some how get down and stand in front of them
"What?" Adora and I both say in sync
"Okay, okay. We just got word, we're being sent to Salineas tonight" Lonnie says
I get a flash of some scorpion human thing blasting some gate
"But they said at the briefing that's not for another week" Adora says
"Adora? It's been a week" Lonnie says
"Wait what?" I ask
"No" Adora says
"Adora?" Catra and I say
"I know this is wrong, can't you see it?! My memories don't match, we're jumping around, things are disappearing, it's like time and space aren't working right. And I-" Adora says
Catra and I put our hands on her shoulders and I get some flashes of Catra scratching me
"Adora! Stop it! Stop!" Catra says
"Mara! Portal. I think I remember. None of this is right. We're not supposed to be here" Adora says
"I think Adora is right" I say
"See?!?" Adora says
"(Y/n)! Stop feeding Adoras paranoia!" Catra says
I get a flash of Catra cuddling me?
What even
"Adora! Everything's okay!" Catra says
"Stop saying that! This isn't right! Everyone keeps telling me everything is perfect, but it's not....Everyone except Scorpia" Adora says
"Who?" I ask
I get some flashes of a scorpion like human hugging me
Adora runs away and Catra is confused
"Adora! Adora, where are you going?" Catra yells

A/n: not the best cliff hanger but basically Catras perfect reality is that Adora and (Y/n) never left and (Y/n)s perfect reality would be with her friends from Berk but she also wants to spend more time with Catra and Adora so that's why she keeps getting flashes of Berk
