"No! I'm not gonna let you do that!" He exclaimed as tears started flowing down his cheeks
"There's no turning back now, Tobio. I've made up my mind already so please....let me go" you said while trying to fight back the shakiness of your voice
"Just give me one more chance! One more! Please, I'll make it up to you. I promise...." He pleaded as he slowly fell on his knees
"Promises are meant to be broken...." You said and faced him
"And here, might as well accept this. I guess my effort was useless after all...." You knelt down and handed him the paper bag
But instead of accepting it, he strongly swept your hand away causing you to winced in pain and made the paper bag flew out of your injured hand. You looked at the gift he rejected and started to feel..... frustrated.
"I'm not accepting anything from you unless you'll forgive me...." Kageyama hissed making your emotions get the best of you
"If you're not gonna accept it then don't! For hell that I care! But one things for sure, Tobio. Never throw the things I poured all my effort to because it's fucking frustrating and disappointing!" You snapped, your eyes were filled with anger, pain, sadness and.....regret but anger was the only thing that Kageyama saw
"Then I'm begging you to forgive me and give me one more chance to make it up to you!" He snapped back
"One more chance?" You scoffed "who are you kidding? You broke your promise twice and you think I'll forgive you and that's it?"
"I thought you would always understand all of me? So what's this huh?" He glared but you just gave him bloodshot eyes
"Yes, I was willing to understand all of you but do you still expect me to understand you after what I saw a while ago huh?! You think it's enjoyable for me to watch the sight of the man I love kissing another girl?! Huh?! You think it's so fucking enjoyable?!" You exclaimed making his eyes widen
"Y-you s-saw?" He stuttered
"I saw everything." You answered while saying it word by word
"It's not what think, (f/n)! Please let me explain! I swear, you've got it wrong!" He pleaded
"I don't need your explanation." You bluntly answered
"Please understand! Please! You freaking promised to understand me! To listen to me!"
"I told you this once before and I'll tell you this again....." You started
"I'm also human, Tobio. I smile, I laugh, I cry and I also have feelings so don't treat me like something I'm not. You WERE still lucky that I can still did the things that you wanted me to do back then and I've already told you this, once I had enough. I had enough, I give up and I will never go back on my word. Never will and never had" you hissed
"But you promised me that you'll be by my side and celebrate every milestone with me! So why let go!?" He desperately asked
"Yes, I promised you that but if you were in my situation right now. Would you still stay? Would you still hold on? Huh?" You shot back
He stayed quiet while looking down on the floor, Kageyama was speechless though he already knows that he did something wrong but he didn't want this to happen.
"Is that what you want? To break up with me? To let me go? To break your promise? And to set me free? Is that it?" He asked while tears were still streaming down his face
"Yes." No.
Kageyama immediately stood up and went to get his bag before staring down on you with bloodshot eyes which you immediately looked away, trying to hide the fact that you're affected and in pain.
"Fine then but remember this, I will show you that you were nothing but a distraction to me. I will be a strong player without you by my side." He hissed before leaving the gym
While you just sat there, staring at his back, leaving you with a broken heart. The sight of him turning his back on you made you burst into tears, his last words kept on repeating in your mind making you feel more broken.
"I-I never said a-anything about you being a weak player, Tobio.....I never t-thought of you as a w-weakling....b-but i-if that's what you want me to think...then fine but...... I-I'm still keeping my promise...." You mumbled and started sobbing in your hands
A few moments later, you heard footsteps coming in your direction when you looked up, you saw your two bestfriends and the third years. That's where you immediately wiped your tears but your tears didn't stop, they kept on falling and that's where you felt a pair hands on your hand. You looked up to see Izumi and Rizumu staring at you, smiling. Yes, they were smiling but the sadness in their eyes were visible.
"You did great....." Rizumu exclaimed making you chuckle softly before sobbing
Izumi and Rizumu immediately pulled you into a hug where you immediately cried like an infant, the emotions you were feeling was too much to contain, you couldn't help but let it all out.
"I'm sorry...." You sobbed
"Shhh...you didn't do anything wrong...." Izumi exclaimed softly as she stroke your hair
"I'm really really sorry......."
"It's his lost, not yours so don't apologise. Never apologize to someone when you didn't do anything wrong." Rizumu said

You continued on crying for a few minutes until you cried your way to sleep on Rizumu's shoulder. You were sleeping on Rizumu's shoulder when Howl arrived, he went to your side and scanned your bashful face. When you were crying a while ago, Izumi told Yachi to call Howl so that he can pick you guys up and so when Yachi told Howl about what happened, he immediately went out and said he's on his way.
Howl sighed softly before carrying you back to his car, Rizumu and Izumi thanked and apologized to the third years about a while ago which they immediately said it was alright.
You sat in the back together with Rizumu, Howl couldn't help but feel a little worried. He wanted you to leave Japan with a smile but what happened today just broke that plan, he wanted to give Kageyama a beating but he knew that it would only make the situation more worse.
"What actually happened a while ago?" Howl started as he looked at your hand through the mirror
"She saw Aimu and Kageyama kissing." Izumi answered making Howl's grip on the steering wheel tighten
"And that's the reason why she injured her hand?" Howl asked
"Yes. She punched the wall after seeing them doing something they shouldn't. She just wanted to ease up her anger by hurting herself which was a bad idea" Izumi replied
"After that, what did she do? I can see that her eyes are red and swollen" he exclaimed
"She made a decision that she was supposed to abandon but she didn't put a second thought into it anymore and just immediately chose it. She chose to break up with him peacefully but I guess it was the other way around since we heard Kageyama's pleading....." Izumi said
"I see...."
When the car came to a stop, you woke up and saw your brother together with your best friends. You looked at the window and realized that you were already home, you lifelessly opened the door and got out.
"(F/n), should we help you pack up?" Rizumu offered
"Sure. Thanks" you smiled though sadness was visible in your eyes
"Hey sis, wanna eat some ice cream? Chocolate? You also want Chuckie? I'll buy some for you" Howl also offered making you chuckle
"Howl, relax. I'm fine, ok? But since you offered, I would gladly accept your offer" you exclaimed
"Alright. I'll be back in a few minutes" he said as he ruffled your hair
You gave him a faint smile and nodded before going in while Izumi and Rizumu followed you from behind with worried expressions on their faces. You directly went to your room and went to your closet to get your two empty luggages, you settled it down on your bed and went back to your closet again to get some clothes.
"Stop staring at me. I thought you wanted to help me pack up? Tsk tsk" you chuckled
"A-ah right...sorry" Rizumu laughed nervously
Rizumu went to your closet and grabbed a bundle of clothes before placing it down on an empty space your bed while Izumi went to your bedside to fold the clothes properly before placing it inside the luggage
"I'm fine, ok?" You said out of the blue making Rizumu and Izumi flinched
"W-we didn't say anything...." Rizumu nervously laughed
"Seriously? I could feel your glances all over me" you chuckled
"We're just worried, (f/n). Because your already leaving tomorrow and then thi-" Izumi was cut off
"I told you, I'm fine. I'll be fine, I can handle this, ok?" You sighed
"But.... you're leaving tomorrow and we won't be-" Rizumu was cut off
"Once again, I can handle it besides.... Juvia-senpai will be there to help me, I guess. So stop worrying" you gave them a reassuring smile
"Alright....." Rizumu sighed in defeat
Silence ruled your room for a few minutes until you spoke up and at the same time, Howl entered your room with your requested goodies in his hand
"But once the recovering process is done, I'll be sure to come back.......with a better version of (l/n) (f/n)..... And of course....with a sassy comeback"
