Always heard I'm too picky, too prissy
"Your head too far up your own ass, missy."
It's cause this generation has to pine
and exhaust that "You up?" text at night.
I want more than a wine and dine.
I want more than a "good time".
Whatever happened to simple conversation,
to actual dedication
instead of misplaced infatuation,
one that grants me no elation?
Why am I to be blamed
for the situations and people, I refused to entertain?
Blamed because you didn't learn how to talk to a female
Blamed because your entitled ass won't get my name
and don't ask for my number.
Darling, I just want to enjoy my summer.
I want more than just to be wined and dined.
I don't want someone who is just fine,
one who doesn't want me to have a spine.
I want refined,
Suit lined and the wickedest whine,
Purposely designed,
Gentle kind.
Someone who I'm never forced to walk behind,
With an ambitious mind.
One that only wants to be mine.
Is that too hard to find?
