Nivaan's POV
I wore the mask which covered my face perfectly.
No one could even recognize me except for two people.
One who was in my room busy redesigning and planning the renovation of Anavrin
The other was in this same hotel but unconscious due to the small amount of Quiteapine in the wine
Typical Kabir, Always ordering Chinese or Italian. But because it was lunch it obviously had to be Italian.
As I sat down right behind his table my back facing Inaayat.
Every time I see her I feel like running to her, hug her and tell her everything that was happening. But I already put her in problem because of which she was here, I couldn't push her into my problems
I love Inaayat and I don't want her in any kind of mess, Especially not Kabir
They laughed at the fact that they were on the same team while she believed all the lies Kabir told her.
As they walked out I noticed he lifted her bridal style but of course she didn't seem comfortable with it.
I know my Inaayat well. She wouldn't like it.
And soon they vanished
There was some kind of hurt and anger burning in my heart when I saw her in his arms.
I ran to the pharmaceutical side where I found a doctors coat and a stethoscope which I wore and while I kept walking the pharmacist called me
I didn't want to get caught
"Good morning sir" She said and I smiled
"I'm sorry but I haven't seen you before around, Are you new? " She asked
"Yeah exactly, I was looking for someone to guide me you know.. First day pressure and stuff" I lied
"I get it sir, But you can stay around here in the dispensary section or the hospital wing, until you get a case" She said
The phone rang.
I knew who it was.
"Sir, room number 583,the patient fell unconscious" She said
583 was the room in which Inaayat was staying but I couldn't take the risk of Kabir seeing me.
I take the mask and now everything was perfect as I walked up the stairs and as I reached the room there were almost 6 people
Karan, Aarav, Kabir, Amrita and another girl I'd once seen Aarav with.
"They said you needed a doctor? " I said
Kabir nodded.
Karan was at the bed placing a hand on her forehead.
"Excuse me" I said when he moved.
I checked her pulse and heartbeat. The dose was very mild, All it would do is induce a good sleep which she should have because she had a long and tiring journey.
"Is she alright? " Karan asked
"Absolutely, she's fine but it looks like she had something which was hypnotic" I said
"Hypnotic? " The youngest girl asked
"Arrey yaar Taarni shhh" Aarav said when I smiled at her
So Taarni it is.
"It's usually given to those who are having insomnia, you get traces of them in dark chocolate or even in oats" I said when everyone was staring at me surprised.
"What did she have for lunch? " I asked
Everyone shrugged.
"Mushroom Risotto" Kabir replied
"Did she have something like a wine? " I asked
He nodded.
"Yeah red wine if I'm not wrong" He said
Idiot. It's called Cherry Kijafa. And it's imported from Denmark. Anpadh Gavaar.
"That must have affected her, usually the old wines cause such effect on young ladies" I said "by the way she needs to be kept under observation for at least 48 hours"
"But why? " Kabir asked
For me to spend some time with her.
"I'm supposed to make sure that this is not a case of food poisoning that's why" I said
Karan agreed immediately.
"But please can she stay here instead of the hospital wing? " He asked
"Alright then, I'll be coming to check her vitals every hour just leave her alone" I said
"You! Come out" Karan said asking Kabir.
Okay, this was going to get bad. But that's actually good for me
Aarav and Amy followed them.
Taarni just stood there
"So you're a junior doctor? " She asked me
I nodded.
"Even Innu Di is" She said
"I'll have to make a report of her details, can you tell me her name please? " I asked
"Inaayat Reza" She said
"And her age? "
"25ish or maybe 24.. I'm not so sure" She said
24 years 9 months 17 days.
I nodded.
"How are you related if I may ask? " I said
"Woh Innu di happens to be the cousin of my boyfriend Aarav " She said
Boyfriend? Little Aarav grew up so much.
While checking her pulse again I noticed her wearing my watch.
Azaan had did the job I had given him and Inaayat being the one I loved did exactly what she had to.
I removed the watch from her hand and placed it aside.
She moved in discomfort
"Can I get a little help? " I asked
"Yes? " She said
"She needs to take off her coat, it's making her sweat excessively, she might develop a lower blood pressure" I said as she woke up and struggled.
I was worried she might wake Inaayat up
"Taarni ji just hold her, I'll do it" I said taking the coat off.
As my fingers touched her shoulder she seemed a bit relaxed.
I took the coat off and placed it on the nearby table
The locket... She didn't even take it off now. Inaayat still loved me. She wanted me to come back, she knew I wouldn't go anywhere leaving her like this.
"Are you okay Doctor? " Taarni asked
"Yeah" I said wiping the tears off my face
"Taarni... " I heard Aarav call her
"I'll just come okay? " She said rushing.
A fifteen minutes later, Inaayat began moving.
"Hey.. " I said trying to hold her
She couldn't open her eyes completely
I placed her back on the bed.
Why am I hurting her amongst all this? I can just end this in a shot! Why am I even involving Inaayat into everything? She never did anything wrong. Other than loving me.
That's probably the only mistake she did but for that she was paying a lot more punishments than she actually deserved.
I placed my hand on hers as I felt her open her eyes a little bit
"Inaayat? "
"Nivaan.. " She said in a low tone
Hearing her voice take my name gave me a different kind if sukoon.
"Nivaan is it you? " She asked
I said nothing but nodded.
"I love you Nivaan" She said
"I love you too my Wikipedia" I said as she held my hand real close to her and fell asleep while I kept smiling at her
Suddenly the door opened.
Damn. I was in trouble.
