Kate's Pov
My phone rang it was Kandance why would she call me at this time I mean its almost dinner time well this better be important because mom was about to tell me something as well.
"Kandance you do realize its almost dinner time and I am so hungry" I said "This better be fast because my mom was going to tell me something"
"Well I need to tell you this because well you are one of my best friends" she said "well two days ago.." she sighed "Julia kissed someone else probably her new girlfriend"
"wait..what? you are joking right?" I was about to break down crying again
"I wish I was I am sorry Kate" she said "Buy you needed to know the truth" she said
"Okay thanks" I hanged up this has too be a joke right I leave for a month to France and Julia has a new girlfriend? Unless while we were dating she was cheating on me with her? Just one way to find out I deceided to call her
"Hey babe" she said
"No don't babe me Julia" I said
"what's wrong?" is she kidding she must know what she did
"You kissed another girl" I said bitting on my lip trying to keep myself from crying
"How do you know that?" she asked me
"Oh so its true?" I said now getting mad
"Just how do you know that" she asked me again
"Just tell me is it true or not"
she sighed "yes is true but I can assure you I never meant anything for me you are the one I love"
"I don't even know if I trust you anymore....you know what I trusted you I loved you and what do you do hurt me I leave for a month to go support my mom at soccer and while I am gone you go an kiss another girl" I said "and that hurts you had your chance and you ruined it don't you ever talk to me again" I said and hanged up I wanted to cry but she was not worth it. I sighed and walked back in. I sat down next to Logan
"so what is it mom?" I asked her
"well Kate the Orlando pride called me to join their club again but I don't know if I should join I really don't want you to be moving around and well since we will be moving around for camps and games I was thinking if we should homeschool you but you are happy in Utah with your friends and your girlfriend"
"she is not my girlfriend any more..." I said
"wait what?!" Ashlyn asked me
"Dosen't matter I really don't want to talk about it" I said "and mom I think homeschool is a great idea so I don't have to go face those idiots who once I called friends again" I got up and walked upstairs.
I layed down in bed and took my phone out a message from an unknown number
unknown:Hey Kate its Hazel
I smiled and added her to my contacts
K:Hey Hazel how have you been?
Pressy Jr😎💙:I am good how are you?
K:could be better
Pressy Jr😎💙:Why what's wrong?
K:My girlfriend well my ex girlfriend cheated on me so I am dealing with a broken heart now
Pressy Jr😎💙:Well if you need someone to talk to I am here for you
K:Thanks
Pressy Jr 😎💙:Anyways I was texting you too see if you are going to go to the next camp with your mom?
K:yes for sure mom dosen't really like to leave me alone
Pressy Jr😎💙: Cool maybe we can hang out there and get to know each other?
K:yeah sure
My mom came into my room
"Kate dinner is ready" she sat down next to me
"Yeah thanks lets go eat dinner" I got up
"wait kate sit back down we need to talk" she said
I sat back down and looked at her
"so your girlfriend cheated on you?" she asked
"yep she did" I sighed "mom? will I ever be loved by someone?"
"you will you just have to wait for the right person" she said
"I hope" I go up "come on mom lest go eat dinner" we went downstairs and started to eat dinner
"so how are you feeling Kate?' Ash asked me
"Good for a breakup good I guess I really don't want to talk about it" I said
"well any girl would be lucky to have you" ali said
"Thanks" I smiled and finished my dinner "Mom am I going with you to the next camp you guys have?"
"Yeah ofcourse" mom said "unless you want to stay with my parents"
"No mom I am going with you" I said "well dinner was amazing but I am tired so I am going to bed"
I said goodnight to all of them and went to my room for hours all I did was look at the celing and just was thinking about what happened around four am I got up from my bed put on some running shorts a shirt and shoes and I went for a run.
The next morning
Alex's Pov
Ali,Ash me and Kelley were eating breakfast Kate was still asleep after all she left at four am and came back an hour later.
Kate came downstairs minutes later
"so where did you go last night?" I asked
"You guys heard me?" she asked
"yeah we did" Kelley said
"well I just needed some fresh air to think and yeah that's all" she said
"Kate lisen if you need someone to talk to because of the breakup we are here for you all of us" I said
"Thanks mom is just yeah it hurts but at least she is out of my life" she said "and besides I have other things to focus on soccer and school"
"but if anyone breaks your heart I swear I'll break them" Ashlyn said
"Ash!" Ali said
Kelley Kate and me started laughing
"Thanks Ash" Kate said "Mom can we go to the beach today?"
"Yeah ofcourse we can go finish eating breakfast" I smiled
Kate's Pov
After Breakfast we all got in the car Ash played some music and we all sang along the lyrics and had a good time once we arrived to the beach we got the stuff our of the car Ali and Mom stayed on the sand grabing some sun while me ash and momma were enoying the waves and the water
"Its been a long time since I surfed for the last time" I smiled "I hope I still have my skills" The last time I surfed was with maddie two weeks before the accident just by thinking of that it made me happy but at the same time it hurted
"Aw kid don't be sad" Ash said and knocked me off my board
"Hey that's not funny!" I laughed
They were both laughing by the time i got back in my board
"That was so funny" Momma said while Hight fiving ash
"Just wait until mom and ali hear about this" I smirked both of them went silent "got you both"
After some hours of being at the beach we took a walk around the beach as well we sat down near some rocks and watched the sun set Ali ash were taking pictures as well as mom and momma
"Ew! Mom Momma can you not kiss in front of me" I looked away from them they both jump apart
"Oh come on great way to ruin the moment Kate" Mom said
"sorry not sorry" I smiled and looked away to the water "Mom would have loved you mads" I whispered
Mom sat next to me "as long as you remeber her she will always be with you Kate"
"I know mom but she would loved to meet you guys for real she was a big fan of you she might have freaked out when she saw you but that's okay that would have been fun to watch" I smiled
"Kate for whatever problems you have we will be here for you always no matter what" mom said and I hug her
"Thanks mom"
