When I wake up I lie in a bed. When I look around I find myself in a spare room. Elijah lays next to me with his arm aroud my waist. I turn to my side. "Elijah" I whisper. No answer. "Elijah!" Still not. I sigh. What should I do? I doubt for a while but decide do it anyway. I bend my head forward slightly and kiss him on his mouth. His eyes immediately open and he kisses me back. When I withdraw, my lips still tingle from our kiss. "So it was so easy to wake you up," I say sarcastically. He laughs, a sweet sound I want to hear more often. "Can I get out of bed" I ask. "Only if I can have another kiss," he says. When I kiss him again he lifts his arm so I can get out. I immediately go to the shower before he changes his mind And pulls me back to bed.
Once I'm at the shower there is a new shampoo and body lotion for women, Which makes me smile unconsciously.
I get out of the shower when I'm clean. Quickly I grab a towel and rub my hair and body so I'm dry.
I put on the towel and comb my hair. There is also a bit of makeup on the cabinet, so I put on some mascara. At that moment I realize the big mistake I just make. My clean clothes are still in the bedroom with Elijah! In my mind I give myself a face palm. I pull the tower around my body and walk out of the bathroom. Elijah is sitting on the bed and stares at me. "Uhm" He stops staring and looks at me. "Sorry, you just look so good." I sigh and walk to the closet. It's not a walk-in closet like in Elijah's room, but the closet is big enough. There are a few pants and T-shirts. I grab a crop top and high waste pants. With the vlotjes in my hand, I practicly run to the bathroom.
When I'm done I walk out of the bathroom and sit next to Elijah. "You can take a shower," I say. He gets up and walks to the closet to get some clothes and then takes a shower. He is a smart man, and he isn't makin the same mistake I just maked.
5 minutes later he comes out of the shower again. "I'm hungry let's eat" I say.
I get up and walk to the door but is stopped by Elijah. He presses me against the wall and kisses me. I respond right away and kiss him back.
When he pulls back to breathe I say "We have to go down. The others are waiting for us" He reluctantly lets me go. He walks into the dining room and I follow him.
Everyone is already sitting at the dining table with a plate of food in front of them. "Ah the lovebirds are finally joining us, I'm starving." John says when he sees us. "You're worse John" Elijah laughs. John has nothing to say to that, so he remains silent.
I sit down next to Elijah. We're eating An omelet with some bread. "I have a message. Diana has her birthday soon and the pack has been invited to the party." Elijah says formally.
"When is the party?" Arianne asks. "Tomorrow. It starts at 3 PM in the afternoon. I will announce it for the pack this morning."
When we finished eating we put our plate away and go outside. I suddenly think of Diana's grandmother's necklace. I take Elijah to the garden. "We have to give that neckless back to Diana." "No," he replies. I sigh. "Please?" He shakes his head: No.
"Please please?" "No" He doesn't give in but I have a plan. "Okay then" His eyes are blurry. "I have to tell the pack about the party at Diana's " "Okay" He walks away. I go looking for Sanne and Arianne. They lie in the grass looking at the clouds. "Hey babes" I say. "Hey" I hear twice.
"I have a plan. You still remember Diana's grandmother's necklace, don't you?" They stand up and nod. "It would be kind tot retrieve it at Diana's party, woulden't it?" Sanne's eyes widen and she nods. "Elijah does not want to give him but we are just going to find it ourselves and give it to her." "yeaaaaa!" They shout. "Let's start searching then girls!"
