Setting: inside Port Chrysanthemum
Jaune was inside the crawler and saw many computer monitors and a giant holographic navigator in the middle of the room, it was so big that it covered most of the area and its map showed the four kingdoms and vale. Jaune was amazed to see how the interior of the Crawler, "I can't believe you have all of this, Atlas would want your technologies," he said amused "and your weapons what were they called again?" he asked,
"GOD arcs," a blonde hair girl said, "but you need this armlet to synchronize with the substance within the weapon" she added,
"Oh really sorry for asking this in such late time, but what are your names?" he asked, "aside from Hugo" he added,
"The name's Claire Victorious," she said,
"I'm Zeke and this is my brother, Neal, and Keith," the blonde said as he grabbed both of his brothers,
"I'm Lulu Baran," said the stoic girl, with a battle scar on her right eye,
"And lastly, here are (Y/N) and Phym," Hugo said as he introduced the two, (Y/N) had a Light brown hair and blue eyes, he was very stylish when I looked at him and as for Phym, she was like a preschool kid with dark skin with white hair and red eyes like she was a humanoid Grimm.
"And for your information, she is a humanoid Aragami," Hugo said,
"What Is an Aragami?" Jaune asked confused,
"An Aragami is a monster composed of a million of the semi-sentient singled celled organism also known as Oracle cells" (Y/N) stated, "Oracle cells are self-evolving cells that can take different shape and sizes and we use that cells to fight them, as you can see we are wearing armlets. These armlets were panted by the Fenrir Corporation and can be used to synchronize our God arc with it, they have a bias factor that will balance the oracle cells inside of us," he added.
Jaune was astonished they were injected with oracle cells and their armlets have been attached to them, and he was even more surprised that they have a humanoid Aragami living with them,
"I see you have met my soldiers," said a tall woman as she walked with two people towards the group,
"Ah, Hilda good thing you're here, we were just introducing Jaune here to the group" (Y/N) said,
"Hello ma'am," Jaune said respectfully,
"Please call me Hilda, Jaune," she said, "you are already acquainted with Hugo and the others, but not me, My name is Hilda Henriquez captain and chief commander of Port Chrysanthemum" she added, "And these are my members here, The girl is Amy Chrysanthemum, and Ricardo Sfozsa" she introduced the two other members.
Jaune nodded in appreciation, but he wanted to know why were they in his world rather their own,
"Sorry for asking this but what world do you live in, and what are you guys?" he asked,
"Well... that's a long story" Claire said, "Let's just say we stumbled upon a golden opportunity to find what we are looking for all this time, and learn more about your world" she added,
"And to answer your question, what we're called is God Eaters" (Y/N) answered, "we hunt Aragami, by using their weapons against them " he added.
Jaune was intrigued about them and wanted to join them so badly, they can tell from his reaction,
"Well... now that you know about us I suppose we should let you go since there are some people who are looking for you" Hilda said,
"I highly doubt that," Jaune said regretfully,
"And why is that?" Hilda asked,
"It's because I'm an outcast to my kingdom" he answered, "I was abandoned from my family, betrayed by my friends, and kicked out from my school and now me; a lonely man with nowhere to go" he added,
The group felt sorry for Jaune being betrayed by his the people who knew him, they thought of helping him in some way but what?
"How about you join our team," Phym said happily,
All of them looked at her in surprise faces, but for Jaune, he's face lit up instantly,
"Really? I can join your team?" he asked,
"Of course, you can be part of our family," she said happily,
"Um... Phym we got to think first, we can't rush into things" (Y/N) said cautiously,
"But he doesn't have a family, so maybe we can be his new family," she said smiling.
(Y/N) felt guilty seeing Phym giving him a persuading face, but alas he couldn't resist his daughter's cuteness,
"Alright," he said, and he turned to Jaune "you can join us" he added,
"Really," Jaune said in delight,
"But you will have to go through a test" Hugo stated, "it's something that we all God eaters and staff go through" he added,
"Whatever it is I will do it," Jaune said with full courage, he has done tests a lot, but he knows this will have to take a lot of courage to pass the test that they will be doing.
Setting: Ash Crawler Lab
Jaune followed Amy to a room in the crawler, inside the room was a chair with complex machines on the side the armrest was replaced by armlets prepped for me,
"Okay, this is an old model so you will have to sit on the chair and wait for further instructions" Amy instructed me,
He nodded, He walked up to the seat and sat down he place his arm on the armrest placed with twin armlets and tried to relax through the process. Amy went through another room, Jaune was a bit afraid of what will happen next.
"Jaune, we will start the process, this may hurt so please try to bear it okay?" she said,
"Okay, " he answered,
"Initiating Oracle cell transfusion," she announced, "In 3...2...1... Now!" she said while activating the mechanism,
The armlets started to close on Jaune's arm, He screamed in pain the oracle cells started to enter through the body and into his veins, the pain was infuriating but he had to bear it, so he clenched his fist as hard as he can,
"Ma'am look at this," Amy said, then Hilda came to her,
"What is it? Are the Oracle cells rejecting him?" she asked worryingly
"No Ma'am, it seems that his body has abnormal energy circulating through his body" Amy answered, "but, the Oracle cells are synchronizing with the energy in him" she added.
Jaune was withstanding the excruciating pain in his body but is trying to survive the process,
"Oracle Cells transfusion test: successful," Amy said, "Initiating god arc mounting, in 3...2...1... now!" she added,
Then two God Arcs came and were mounted into Jaune's hands, and started to synchronize with the armlet and its user.
"GOD ARC MOUNTING TEST: successful," she said,
Then the clamp holding Jaune released him, he got up and fell to his knees, he panted tirelessly (Y/N) and Phym entered the room and saw Jaune they rushed to him and helped him stood up,
"So how the test?" Y/N asked,
"Well, It's kind of painful but I managed it" he answered,
"Wellcome to the family Jaune," Phym said excitedly while hugging Juane, "Hey, can I call you big brother?" she asked,
Jaune felt happy, to see Phym accepting him in the team,
"Sure" he answered.
"We gave you something from us, now we need something from you; we need information about this world" Hilda demanded.
"Sure, I will enlighten you the world of Remnant," Jaune said.
