"Pfft," Ina rolls her eyes as she sips her chocolate bubble tea, "All these couples."
"How do you know they are couples?" Jimin asks, looking at the people around.
"A girl and a guy out together alone on Valentine's day, what else could they be? Frien--" She pauses once she realises what she's actually talking about.
Jimin who also notices the pause, glances at her before saying, "I mean, they could be friends."
"Yes, of course!" She exclaims a bit too enthusiastically, making her end up sound even more fake.
A dress on a mannequin catches her attention, "That looks so nice!"
"Go try it on. I will wait for you." Jimin smiles, watching her grin happily with her eyes sparkling like a little kid. She enters the store with exciting steps after leaving her bubble tea with Jimin.
It's so refreshing to see her back to her normal self and being genuinely happy. For so long, she just always looked like she had a dark cloud looming over her. Even on days when she was smiling, Jimin was still able to see it following her around. The relationship was really mentally affecting her and she wasn't even aware of it.
But now, she sincerely looks so happy that it makes Jimin happy as well. If he's able to see her happy like this for the rest of his life, he wouldn't mind just keeping his dreams only as dreams.
In other words, he wouldn't mind just being her friend like this if she's happy. He's scared that he might be the reason for her carefree smile to go away even though he for sure knows he wouldn't do anything like that. No one knows though. He might hurt her without intending to and that's why he's scared.
After all, her happiness comes before his own.
Suddenly Jimin feels a poke on his shoulder, causing him to turn his head around by reflex.
"Do I look okay?" Ina asks, standing so effortlessly but beautifully in front of him.
Jimin whips his head to look at the mannequin from earlier again, "Is it the same dress?"
"Yes?"
Wow, is all he can think of. The dress which seemed very ordinary now looks gorgeously magnificent on her.
"What do you mean 'okay'? You look beautiful." He blurts out before he could stop himself. Sometimes, Jimin really hates how his body is always faster than his brain.
Ina's mouth opens and closes, making her look like a fish; an adorable fish in his eyes though.
Faking a cough, he says, "Sorry. I mean, yes. You should buy it."
"Okay." Ina replies softly before heading back to the changing room, the cheeky smiles from the female staffs making her more bashful.
The female staff who was accompanying her smiles when she was about to enter the changing room, "You are so lucky to have a boyfriend like that."
Ina gulps, "He's not my boyfriend."
With a shock expression, the staff apologises. "Sorry, miss. I just thought -- "
Ina just mutters a 'it's fine' before proceeding to close the curtains and change back into her clothes.
After paying for the dress -- which Jimin was about to insist on paying but stopped himself because the earlier mistake he did was already a bit too much for 'friends', -- the two of them walk out of the store awkwardly.
"Do you want to eat anything?" Jimin asks, trying to make the awkward silence disappear.
"Yeah, I think i want a chocolate cake."
Jimin furrows his eyebrows, glancing between her and the chocolate bubble tea in her hand.
Ina huffs, "Hey, I have a sweet tooth, okay?"
"You will get diabetes at this point."
"Aren't you just jealous because I can eat, drink whatever I want and not gain weight?" She replies childishly, giggling to herself.
Jimin's expression is similar to that of the popular pokemon reaction, "Rude."

As they walk around in the mall, in search of cakes, Jimin doesn't fail to notice how Ina's eyes linger at the tiny flower shop with various types of bouquets displayed.
He waits for her to say something about it but she just continues to walk pass the shop while mumbling about chocolate cakes.
Suddenly, she halts in her steps.
"What?!" She exclaims. "They have Black Swan here?"
"What's Black Swan?" Jimin asks, confused.
"You don't know Black Swan? They are like the most popular dessert cafe right now."
"They really chose that name for a dessert ca--"
Ina cuts him off, "It doesn't matter. Their cakes taste good."
She joyfully walks into the cafe with Jimin trailing behind her.
"Welcome to Black Swan," The cashier greets.
"Hello!" She waves -- literally waves her hand. "Can I have the DDC?"
"The what?" Jimin chokes, widening his eyes at her.
"DDC." She repeats. "Dark Double Chocolate."
He really heard the D as B.
"Oh." Jimin blinks, "I will have the same."
The cashier nods and places the two chocolate cakes on the tray and Jimin, of course, takes the tray before Ina can. Gentleman.
"I'm paying." Ina sternly says, raising her eyebrows at him before handing her card to the cashier.
Jimin sighs, "I will go find a seat then."
"It looks so good!" Ina squeals, picking up her fork.
Jimin's heart swells at the sight in front of him. He can't get enough of it. Even to himself, it's still slightly blindsiding how seeing her happy makes him feel so much.
"Wait, I need to go the restroom." He tells, standing up from his seat.
Ina who's already digging in doesn't even bother to look at him, "Come back quickly."
Jimin resists the urge to pat the top of her head because she is that adorable. His steps lead him to the flower shop from earlier. Rushing in, he asks, "Do you have a bouquet of baby breath?"
When it comes to flower and names, Jimin doesn't know much. He knows roses, lilies, lavenders; flowers known by many but other than that? He doesn't.
But when it comes to Ina, he does know a lot and remembers a lot because that's what he's interested in. So it's no surprise he still remembers about her always pointing out how baby breath are the best looking flowers whenever she has the chance.
"Yes, what size do you want?"
Okay, now he's a bit clueless. He has never even bought flowers in his life except for his mother and he always went for the big ones but this is a different case.
Ina is not his mother. Maybe big ones are a bit too much?
"Um," He trails off, looking around. He sees a sample size that he quite likes and just points at it.
"Okay. Please wait for a bit." The boy -- maybe he's a part-timer or maybe he's a florist but that's not important, says before walking away.
After a few minutes, he appears back in front of Jimin with a perfect size of baby breath bouquet.
A big satisfied grin appears on Jimin's face before he reaches for his wallet to pay.
"For your girlfriend?" The boy asks, taking the card from Jimin's hand.
"Ah," Jimin pauses. "No, a friend."
The boy hums knowingly and hands the receipt to Jimin. "Good luck."
A light shade of blush appears on Jimin's round cheeks. He's not even confessing or proposing, why is he blushing? That's weird.
But being the good person he is, he thanks the boy and rushes back to the cafe. Plopping down on the chair and catching Ina's attention who is still eating her cake, he places the bouquet on the table, trying to look nonchalant.
She looks at him and back at the bouquet. The chocolate smeared a bit at the corner of her lips makes Jimin chuckle but he continues, "Valentine's is not just for couples so."
"So?"
He shrugs, "For you. You like baby breath, right?"
A lovingly smile appears on Ina's face before she grabs the bouquet and stares at it before averting her stare to Jimin's face.
There comes the blush on his face again.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asks, not being able to read her mind.
She shakes her head slightly, "You remember."
"Huh? Ye--"
"Quick!" She hollers, shoving her phone to his hand. "Take me a picture!"
