Bruno's POV
I walked slowly back into the office.
"Hey sweet baby." I said slowly.
"Hey sexy beast." She said back.
"I'm sorry, but aren't you supposed to be suspended?"
She popped her gum before she spoke.
"Yeah, but they are giving me three strikes since I'm new here. They also said that I can have someone help me study everything on the curriculum that I've missed, so would you like to?" She spoke excitedly.
"Would I like to what?" I questioned.
"Would you like to be my tutor?" She responded with a sweet little laugh.
"Of course, I knew that!" I said acting cocky.
"Sure..." She said.
Wait, you don't know who it is?
It was my dream girl Carrie.
I would stay up for years writing songs about her...
So that's what I must do!
"Let's meet at my house at 3:30, after school. Let's meet by the cherry school outside the school. And we can walk home together." I suggested.
"Sounds good to me!" She said standing up gliding closer to me.
She was 5' 3, two inches shorter than me.
She was soo close, our lips were almost touching.
Soo close, yet soo far.
"I'll be looking forward to it." Carrie said.
"Me too." I said while trying to pucker my lips out far enough to touch hers while I was talking to her.
When we talked a little bit more, she accidentally spit on my lips when she was talking.
"I am soo sorry!" She exclaimed.
"No, it's fine." I said while licking my lips, making sure that I had some of her D.N.A in my body.
The rest of the day dragged on slowly, like the first time I was to meet at the cherry tree.
Hours later, time finally came.
I walked and sat underneath the cherry tree.
I saw Vanessa pass, she was all alone.
No friends, no smiles, no
Joy!!!
She saw me by the tree and smiled at me.
It wasn't a fake smile, it was actually joy.
Was I the only person that brought her joy?
She waved and I looked around making sure that she was waving at me.
By the time I turned back around trace her, I saw that she was already walking towards me.
I can't let Vanessa meet Carrie.
She will tell her all of the things that I have to hide from Carrie, well at least for now.
I looked to my left and Carrie was three feet away from me.
"Hey Carrie!" I exclaimed.
We were both talking under the cherry tree.
It was the cherry tree that all hell was under.
Where all hell broke loose.
Where my pre me secret was almost released.
Where I thought I had found my true love.
Where I almost had sex at.
Where my first fight with Vanessa was at.
Where in the first time in forever, I had heartbreak take over my life.
Where I was pained.
Where I cried.
Where my mom died.
Vanessa's POV
I started walking over, about to apologize for the way I acted when he told me that he was a pre me.
I was stopped though, chills took over me, my heart fell, and most importantly, my heart--- it broke---all over again.
A girl walked over.
A girl that might have been nicer than me, prettier that me, and better than me.
A girl that I wanted to kill!
Bruno was mine, he just didn't know it yet.
But I was gonna make him mine, all over again.
And that girl will not get in the way of US.
And that's a promise I'm willing to keep.
I looked back at Bruno, he was staring at me past his hug with that one girl.
Maybe I was already winning his heart.
Bruno's POV
I greeted Carrie with a friendly hug, I stared at Vanessa wishing that my eyes could zap her and make her disappear away from me and my dream girl, Carrie.
She had a seek of vengeance in her eyes.
I swear I'm gonna smack some sense into that girl.
Carrie and I started walking.
I grabbed her backpack for her, then turned around to look at Vanessa.
She was walking really fast behind us, looking furious.
I decided to make her even more mad.
I put my arm around Carrie looking back again.
She was storming behind us, picking up even more speed.
"Are you okay?" Carrie questioned.
"You keep looking back, did you leave something at school? Something for tutoring?"
"No, my ex-girlfriend she's mad. Because I'm hanging out with you and she probably thinks that you're big competition for her. We had gotten in a big fight recently about something that I told her, and she's mad that we're tight and stuff." I explained.
I was about to look back again, when she rushed in between us breaking me and Carrie apart.
That bitch.
"Stop stalking us you bitch!" I said, starting to yell at Vanessa.
I grabbed Carrie's hand and starting running, running home.
"I'll make you mine Bruno, you will NEVER forget my name!" She screeched.
I looked at Carrie,who had tears running down her face.
"It's okay, we're almost home!" I said with comfort in my voice.
But I felt like that wasn't enough.
I looked back and Vanessa was right behind us, but I didn't care.
I stopped running and pulled Carrie in front of me.
"I love you!" I said leaning in.
Our lips touched, and it was perfect.
She didn't even pull back.
In between breathes, I started singing.
Cause you're amazing, just the way you are. And when you smile my whole world stops and stares for a while, 'cause you're amazing just the way you are.
She looked up at me,"That was beautiful!" Carrie exclaimed.
"Just like you!" I said returning the favor.
We turned around and saw Vanessa crying, her face was all red.
"That-that-that song was for me! Not her, not that bitch!" Vanessa yelled.
"Why do you care?" I yelled back.
"Because I still love you!"
