Hi, hello, so if you didn't see my little PSA about this, then you might not know that I'm going to add a few chapters in between the posted ones. These will be chapters that are made AFTER the story. What Kit and Sunny are going through are marked BEFORE.
I will also be changing other chapter titles.

I know this storytelling is... unorthodox, and maybe confusing, but I hope I mark them well enough for you to still understand the flow.
'The Real Start'

"- my friends might fucking die, this kid is too fucking upset to care about anymore of this bullshit. If you want, you can have our records of all of this."
"Your... records?"
"That's what I said. All of it. There's a reason we're here, why this happened, and most of it's on record. Messages and clips and shit- even the manuscript."
"Manuscript?"
"Yes, manuscript. About this case. About us. But please. Please. I want to see my friends. I need to. Please. I'll give you everything I have, but please. They need me. You can grill me about it later, but please. I need to know they're ok. I need to be there for them because if I- if I don't- I don't what- ... just please. Let me go."
