"Summer I said no and that's final, now stop begging; it's not becoming of you" She's been sitting in my room for about thirty minutes now begging me to let Angelina go
"Please" she gave me her puppy dog eyes. "Why are you even keeping her here? It's not like the police matters to you. Brother I know that the police already knows about you and your line of work...they've known even before you were in charge. I know that you basically own the police in Italy" why can't she just shut up
"...so even if she went to the cops; it's not like they would care about the information she gives them...you are their boss afterall"
"You've only spoken to her for a few hours and she's already rubbing off on you" I stated "You talk as much as she does now"
"She's wonderful brother. She has the most amazing hazel eyes; and did you see her body?...Brother I'm going to start doing squatts now; just so I could try keeping up with her...and wow did you see her hair? It's so vibrant, it has so much volume and it's so long" she said in awe
"Okay?"
"She's so beautiful, she's funny, she's talkative, she's such a breath of fresh air and OMG her british accent. I love hearing her talk-..." She's still going on and on about Angelina and at this point I've stopped listening. I'm so tired
"Summer stop talking" I said while covering my ears "...and get out of my room I want to sleep"
"Okay but one question and then I'll be out of your hair"
"Make it count"
"Okay...What's the real reason she's here?"
"Because I don't trust her." I stated
"You're lying. I think you've decided to keep her here because you might fancy her" she said in a fake British accent
"I don't" I roll my eyes
"You do." She challenges me...but I'm not falling for that. I don't 'fancy' Angelina
"Listen carefully. The real reason she's here is because in the mafia there are rules that we live by"
"...and?" She asked impatiently
"If anyone witnesses a killing done by the mafia, we have to 'take care' of them too"
"As in...kill them too?" She questioned
"Yes" I nod my head "and I decided not to kill her; she doesn't deserve it"
"But brother...the rules of the mafia-..."
"...are never to be broken, no matter how stupid they are" I finished for her "I know. That's why I decided she should just be part of the mafia"
"What?!" Summer screamed "How could you do that?...that's even worse brother"
"Would you rather I kill her instead?"
"No, but...that's still so selfish of you, that should be her decision to make"
"If I didn't make this decision for her...She would certainly be killed, not by me; but by other mafia members. We all live by the rules and they certainly won't change just because of her...I'm doing her a favour by keeping her here. She's part of my mafia now"
"You truly are the worst brother in the world" she rolled her eyes but I know she understands
"I'm the worst brother?...what about Oscar, Jason and Paul?"
"What about them?"
"They haven't paid you a visit for over a month now...and do I have to remind you that you live in my house; so I've got to be your favourite brother"
"For your information; they usually drop by my school just to check on me...and you've never done that" she said matter of factly
"Whatever" I waved my hand dismissively "now get out of my room; I want to rest. I've had a long day"
"Oh right...I'm sure terrorising people the whole day is exhausting" she commented while standing up "in the meantime...I'm going to let Angie know that her life is over" she said sadly
"Have fun" I said closing my eyes
And with that she finally left my room.

Angelina
I was about to 'kip' (nap) when the door flew open...ugh What now?!?
"Angie wake up!" Summer said while taking a seat on my bed
"What?" I said while sitting up
"So I've got good news and bad news...which of the two do you want first?"
"The good news!" I said anxiously
"Well...my brother won't kill you; he isn't even planning on killing you"
"Okayyyy"I said dragging the 'y' "what about the bad news?"
"You will have to join the mafia" she said rushing through her words "You're part of the Rosi mafia now...the family"
"What?...No!" I started to cry "I don't want to be part of it" I said looking at Summer with fearful eyes "If I join the mafia...that means I'll never get my life back"
"It's not that bad, I promise you" she rubbed my back soothingly "you'll get the proper training; infact you'll get the best training. You'll be able to protect yourself"
"...but what about my family?"
"I'll talk to him about that; don't worry"
She explained everything to me, she told me why I was really 'kidnapped' and I know it's for my protection but I still curse the day I met Lorenzo Rosi
Summer spent the whole night keeping me company and telling me more about herself. It feels like I've known her my whole life. She's nothing like her brother and I'm grateful for that.
Next morning:
Summer fell asleep on my bed last night...and I only call it my bed because I now know that I'm going to be staying in this place a little bit longer than I thought.
"Summer wake up" I called out and she just grumbled "wakey wakey...don't you have to go to school?"
"No...it's Saturday" she yawned
"Oh okay...well I'm gonna go take a shower okay?"
"Mmkay" she said with her eyes still closed
When I got out the bathroom Summer was out of bed and in the closet
"What are you doing in there?" I looked at her curiously while she looked through my clothes
"Oh great you're done....we need to go shopping. You don't have enough clothing in here" she said looking around the closet
"Did you forget that I can't leave the house?"
"I know but...I'm sure I can convince my brother to let us go for an hour or two"
"Good luck" I chuckled dryly as I picked out an outfit for the day
"I'll see you later" she called as she walked out the door
