Whitle away at time before long
For the world now seals our fate
And though patent some wait
One dwells on that he did wrong
A man harvests a seed he sowed
And walks down fleeting road
He sees all he was forbode
By angel and diabolus
The latter does tempt us
With the pleasures bestowed
A man waits with eyes aculded
He sees not of what he did
Knows not the deeds forbid
Of those he pained on journeys path
Those who bore rage and wrath
The devil in his skin hid
Or does he see the good and kind
A road of peace should he find
He could wait out in piece of mind
Surely he could pass through
To paradise and riches true
If a mountain he would climb
Await judgement on marble flooring
To see his life before him
Does send the mind wandering
But alas we shall sing
To pass the time until our calling
