Third person's POV
Something or someone had crashed the door and my head jerked up reflexively as I aimed a gun at them, When I realized it was only Zayn, I relaxed.
My eyes dropped to the limp white form in his hands, and he felt his face twist in regret. I hadn't meant to hurt this man but I didn't have a choice
"Why did you do this? " I asked
"I had no choice, I really didn't" He said shaking in fear.
"You really shouldn't kill him" Zayn Suggested "You know it takes a lot of effort to clean up a murder than a mere brawl"
"Please I won't let anyone know about what happened" He begged with mercy
For a moment I wondered, again, if I should just give it all up. Perhaps I should go back to Italy, back to my hiding place. What made me even think that I could rejoin the world of happiness and love?
But I was really very tired of living in shadows. I was tired of the darkness, and of the things that lived in it. Most of all, I was tired of being alone.
It was 3 years already aandI hadn't seen anyone whom I loved
Especially the girl I loved.
What if I should actually get back to the darkness because I'm not worthy of being loved?
I slapped the thought away. I'd renounced the darkness and left the shadows behind me. It was time for a fresh start.
A fresh start only meant a new mission
I and Zayn walked back home
We had rented this room specifically because of the trapdoor in the ceiling, a trapdoor that opened onto the widow's walk on the roof above. Just now that door was open, and a cool damp wind blew down the ladder below it.
"What are you doing Nivaan? " He asked
"Just stalking someone" I said as I clicked on a profile

I scanned the whole list of her following until one name caught my attention

"Who's this guy? " Zayn asked

"Kabir Zadeh a Haraamzade nice rhyming, Are you always poetic ya you turn poetic on looking at a girl?" He asked
"I don't waste my precious poetry on every random girl Zayn" I said "My poems have always been for just one person Always" I said

"Oye roll number 64 Psst I have a very important question to ask you" I heard a voice
"Hey" I said casually.
She looked tipsy and was struggling to stand properly. She was definitely drunk.
I search for Luthra but don't spot him anywhere nearby
"I'm talking to you 64, Where are you looking at? " She asked poking my suit
"Umm sorry Miss Reza"
"Yuck don't call me with my last name, It doesn't even suit my name " She said making a puppy face
"Then what does? " I asked sipping some juice
"Mallik" She said in a sexy tone and I was just holding the urge to ahem.. To you know what I mean
A girl came running and held her
"Don't mind her, Someone spiked her drink and she's been crazy ever since that" She said
"You know what Amy, yeh pagal na usually anatomy mein top karta hai and when Saxena asks him some questions he doesn't answer and then sir throws him to the first bench beside me" She said giggling
"Do you think you'll be able to handle her I'll go check for Karan so that we can take her home" Amrita said.
I nodded
"You'll take care of me huh? " She asked raising her eyebrows
"Jo ladki khayalon mein aati hai uska khayal tho rakh hi sakta hoon " I say
She smiles.
"How are you so poetic yaar Mallik? Like are you Zayn Mallik ka Chota bhai or something? " She asked
"No " I said holding her as she's about to trip and fall.
"You know what Mr Saxena , calls you, Ni-one Mal-lick " She said giggling
"How can someone not know the sources of the drugs we use stewpid?? "
"What? " I asked surprised
"I called you a stewpid you Dumbo, You don't know anything in pharmacy"
"How are you so sure that I didn't know pharmacy maybe I was pretending not to know so that I get to sit in the first bench beside a certain girl who has a squeaking voice" I said
"Number one I do not have a squeaking voice, Number two you have nice flirting skills" She said
"Haha maybe I'm a natural in front of few beautiful girls" I said winking
"You remember that time when Saxena kicked you out of the class saying you always stared at poor Miss Reza, To be Honest Miss Reza wanted you to look at her all the time" She said
I grinned
"And I really wanted to keep looking at Miss Reza all my life if that was possible" I said
"Yaar Ni-one I'm going to have a hangover kal, so when I tell you that you will tell me that coffee will cure it and then ask me for coffee theek hai? " She said
I nodded
"So Ni-one I'm so drunk and high right now I'm going to have a terrible hangover kal" She said catching her forehead.
"Come to the college na, wahaan pe you'll get some garam paani and ill send some coffee powder kisi attender ko de kar" I said
"Aree pagal" She said looking at me Making a puppy face
"That's not how it works theek hai? " She said "Kal milna mujhe at Cafe Anavrin 7 baje I might forget tho yaad dilaana " She said when Amrita arrived and took her away

I smiled at myself as I woke up from the dream.
It had been really long that I visited Anavrin
So I walked into the cafe as I covered my face with a mask
All that was visible was my mask and my eyes. There were CCTV camera's around and I couldn't take the risk of being spotted. Alive.
As I sat down my phone beeped with a message
We have to go to Turkey
It's urgent
I push my phone into my pocket and just sigh when my eyes spot a familiar face.
She still comes here
She sat down at the table behind me and kept talking to her mom.
I wonder how all of them are. And if I'll be able to meet them all.
I immediately take a tissue and start writing on it
I walk upto the waitress
"Hey gorgeous" I say
"How may I help you sir? " She asks in a very sweet tone
"That girl over there, she is going to come over and order a Hard Rock Cold coffee, here's the amount of the coffee, and this tissue please hand it over to her" I said "and here's your tip for that"
She smiled.
I sat down back at the table when she went and ordered and came back in a hurry and opened the tissue as she read what I wrote

The waitress obviously wouldn't tell my identity to her
"Excuse me? " She called me
"Yes" I said
"Did you see anyone rush out of the cafe? " She asked me
Oh my innocent mehbooba!!
"Yes someone definitely did, he was in a white shirt" I said
"Thank you so much and haan Belgian chocolate chip order karro it's great here thanks once again" She said as she held the coffee and ran out
As she left I pulled out the Belgian chocolate chip shake from my pocket and began sipping it.
Today was a great day
