she woke up the next day,
sunlight streaming through her windows.
everything was perfect,
her room radiated a light indigo.
yet something inside her was brewing,
she didn't know what she was doing.
questions started to flood her mind,
along with things she thought she left behind.
sadness, jealously, hatred, doubt,
what the fuck was this all about?
trying ignore them once again,
she started to wonder: "when did this all begin?"
she never felt at peace,
she was making herself weak.
uneasiness lived in her;
telling her something was wrong.
she just wanted normalcy,
she wanted it to be all gone.
plastering a smile on her face,
she told herself it would be okay.
so she took in a deep breath,
and carried on with her day.
