Isabella's POV:
"Bella wake up today's the day!" My friend Abby said slightly moving me
I rubbed my eyes, "huh?"
"You're getting a new family!" She smiled
"Oh shit I forgot about that, what time is it?" I jumped out of bed and ran to our bathroom
"9:30 what time were they going to get here?" She asked doing my bed
"In thirty minutes" I said hoping into the shower
She didn't say anything, I finished taking my shower then changed into
"How do I look?" I asked as I tied my shoe.
"You look great! Jenny should be here in a couple minutes" she sat down on her bed
"I can't believe after all these months someone finally came for me" I said sitting next to her "promise me you won't forget about me?" She looked at me
"I would never forget about you, we've been friends for over a year now, but I promise" I gave her a side hug
"What happens if you leave for ever then I leave too?" She looked at me
"I don't know but I'll come visit you, and days before you leave we'll figure out we're to meet" I smiled then there was a light knock on the door.
"Morning young ladies, Isabella are you ready?" Jenny asked, she's the one that's in charge of taking the kids to their new families when they meet.
"Yes" I smiled.
I hugged Abby real tight before I left, "good luck" she smiled then I had to go.
"You two have been acting different lately" Jenny smiled
"She's my only friend and we get along, that's doesn't mean I changed at all" I looked at her and her smile faded.
"Ready?" She asked and I took a deep breath as we stood in front of the door.
I started to get nervous and my breathing started to go uneven.
"Take your time sweetie" she said rubbing my back in circle motions
After two minutes I calmed down and she opened the door.
"Good morning Isabella" Stacey smiled standing up, she's the lady who signs the papers and does all of the paperwork stuff.
"Morning" I looked at her not knowing what to do.
"Uh I would like you to meet the Polibio family" she smiled pointing at the family.
There was a man who seemed to be in his late thirty's, the woman looked beautiful like she was soooo pretty, and next to her was a tall boy, he looked more like his mom.
"Um hello" I gave them a small smile
They introduced themselves then there was a awkward silence.
"Would you like to sit with them" Stacey said
"Oh um yea sure" I said then sat between the woman and the boy.
After they talked and all it came to the signing of papers, "Isabella going to miss you" Stacey smiled as we stood up
I rolled my eyes, "don't miss me too much, I'll be back soon" I said then everyone looked at me, "I'm sorry" Jenny said
"Oh don't worry" Mirna, I think that's her name said
We walked out the room and my things were already waiting for me.
"Damn y'all really don't want me here either huh?" I laughed "Isabella" Jenny looked at me and I got quiet
"Bye bitch" Abby ran to me and hugged me "byeee see you soon" I whispered the last three words and she laughed a little.
"Okay it's time to go" Stacey said
"Okay bye guys" I waved as walked with the family
"So tell us about yourself" Mirna said as we got in the car
"Um I really don't know what you would like to know about me" I said then noticed the mattia look at me
"Tell us about your past" his dad say
"Um I don't really like to talk about my past" I said "it's fine sweetie don't worry" Mirna said
The whole car ride was boring.
It was quiet and uncomfortable, I felt so weird.
"Tia can you help her take her things up to her room" Mirna said
"Yes mom" he said then took one of my bags out my hands "I'll carry the other one" I smiled
He's lowkey kinda hot. Fuck I can't be thinking that this dude might be my brother soon.
But I mean......no stop Isabella that's nasty.
"Okay rule number one when my friends come over you are to stay in here at all times if you need anything just text me" he said
"Text you with what?" I laughed "right, here"he said giving me an iPhone box and I opened it to reveal a iPhone 11.
He helped me set it up, even though I didn't need much help.
I used to have one but once you're put into the foster home program they take all the electronics away from you.
I got many taken away.
I started to unpack the little few things that I brought with me.
"Um Mirna I..um need to buy some things" I said walking into the kitchen
"Want me to take you? I would have to drop you off because I have a job meeting but then I would also pick you up" she said "yes that seems fine" I smiled
She seems like a really nice woman, well they all seem like a nice family, I don't think I would do some crazy shit that would fuck it all up.
We got to the mall and she gave me 500 dollars to spend on things I wanted and needed.
"Thank you but I don't need this much" I said "it's fine sweetie, you can keep the rest if you don't need it" she smiled
"Okay" I said and with that she drove away.
I started walked around the mall feeling uncomfortable. Many guys kept eyeing me and some even tried to get my number
"Hey ma just wanted to say you looking gorgeous, what's your name?" a light skin boy walked up to me
"Um thank you I'm Isabella " I smiled "I'm Derek" he said "okay" I said walking away
"Damn ma you ain't gotta be like that, what's yo number?" He said grabbing my arm
"Sorry I didn't give my numbers out" I said pushing his hand off me
"Look ma ima treat you right" he said "no thank you" I smiled and continued to walk as he followed behind
"Can you stop following me, I don't want you so stop" I said
"Yo jasmine long time no see" a boy a little shorter than me said was living up to us
"Heyyyyy" I said and have him a side hug "you know her?" Derek asked
"Yea we used to be friends a long time ago but then she moved" he said
"Didn't you say your name was Isabella?" He said "jasmine is my middle name" I smiled "oh okay anyways by kai" Derek said then walked away
"Sorry it looked like he was bothering you" he said "it's fine thank you though" I giggled
"Oh and sorry I just called you the first name that came to mind" he laughed
His laugh is so adorable it made me smile.
"Don't worry about it" I said, "so Isabella right?" He said "yep" I smiled "I'm kairi" he said "nice to meet you" I said
"Well I have to go now bye" he said "bye oh and thank you" I smiled as he walked away "no problem" he waved then we both went our own way
