Y/n feels a weight at the end at his egs
He opens his eyes and looks up and sees everyone waiting for him...filling the room
He sees several people sleeping like Tsunade,Shikamaru,Naruto and Jiraiya,Lee
Then he sees people just occupying themselves with other things like Gaara and Neji
Then you have people who have to wait outside the door due to the lack of space like Zabuza,Haku,Kakashi and Hinata
Y/n sees a couple of bags near the door
Someone leaving?
Y/n starts to move a bit
It wakes up Tsunade who is at the end of his bed
Tsunade:Y/n...you're awake!
Y/n hears a couple of gasps from outside the door
Y/n:Yes...and I see you brought company unfortunately...
Everyone who is asleep or is busy doing other things and even the people outside start to funnel in front of y/n
Naruto:Y/n! You're okay!
Y/n:Obviously...
You didn't make that very obvious y/n!
Shikamaru:We thought you had died...
Y/n laughs a bit
Y/n:Not me...I always have a plan...this was a part of it...
Jiraiya:Well I'm glad you woke up in in time y/n...
Y/n:In time for what? To be swarmed by everyone and bombarded with questions...
Jiraiya:The Akatsuki are going to start making moves in two years...at least that's the conclusion I've come to...
Y/n:And what does that have to do with me...?
Jiraiya:I'm leaving to train with Naruto...he needs to be ready...
Y/n doesn't know how to react
Jiraiya:I know it's a lot to take in y/n...and I'm sorry for telling you as you just woke up but we need to leave as soon as possible...
Y/n:I see...
Naruto:Come with us y/n!
Y/n looks around the room
Y/n:I left my family once before...I won't leave them again this time...
Naruto:But-
Jiraiya:Naruto I told you it was his decision to make...
Naruto doesn't say anything as his head goes down
Jiraiya:Then shall you see us off y/n? I'd like to get you two one last popsicle before we leave...
Y/n:Yes...of course...
He gets up as everyone gets out of his way
Tsunade:We need to speak when you return y/n...
He nods his head as Jiraiya and Naruto grab their bags
They leave the hospital as Naruto gets a good look at the village before he leaves...
Y/n is quiet the whole way...his mind was blank...
As they walk through the village the memories of the past flow to y/n
Back to when he first arrived...the bells...the exams...his fight with Naruto...everything...
Y/n can't help but smile a bit
Y/n spaces out as his trance is broken by Jiraiya
Jiraiya:You gonna take the other half or is Naruto going to have to eat both?
Y/n grabs it and looks at it and eats it
Y/n:Thanks...
They continue walking
As they get closer and closer to the exit y/n's emotions grow stronger and stronger
He doesn't know what to say...
And then it happens...
They reach the gate to leave
Jiraiya and Naruto turn around and look at y/n
Jiraiya:I guess this is goodbye kid...
He ruffles y/n's head
Jiraiya:You got a bright future ahead of you y/n...go on the right path and you can bring many people with you...
Y/n doesn't joke around as he answers wholeheartedly
Y/n:I will Jiraiya...thank you for training me...
Jiraiya:I'll definitely have some extra to teach you when I get back...and I'll have Naruto to help me too!
Naruto is still silent
Y/n puts a hand on his shoulder
Y/n:Sometimes the best way to protect someone...is by letting go...
Naruto looks at him teary eyed
Naruto:But I don't want to let go...
He starts to cry
Y/n laughs
Y/n:Tears make you weak Naruto...I thought the time you spent with me would toughen you up...

It's okay y/n...I won't think any less of you...I'm...sad too...

Y/n turns around as he crosses his arms

Tears start to hit the ground below him

He turns around teary eyed as well
Y/n:You two better come back! Or I'll...kill the person who killed you! Then I'll find some way to bring you back just to kill you again! I've learned so much from you Naruto!
The calm and collective y/n is now spilling his emotions without holding back
Y/n:You're gonna be the Hokage one day Naruto...and I'm gonna be right there for you all the way! We'll defeat the Akatsuki to protect the leaf village...we'll protect everyone! It might seem naive but you've shown me that big dreams can only be achieved by the motivation to accomplish those dreams! I'm proud of you Naruto! I'm proud to call you my friend! I'm proud to say I would die to protect you! I'm proud to call you my brother!
Naruto starts to walk towards y/n and puts his fist up
Naruto:One more for the road...
Y/n puts his fist up as well and fist pumps Naruto...one last time before he leaves...
Naruto:The first thing we're gonna do when we get back is go out and eat! On me!
Y/n wipes his tears as Naruto and Jiraiya leave
As they walk off he feels a part of himself gone...
Y/n:Farewell Naruto Uzamaki...Farewell Jiraiya...
As they finally disappear from sight he turns around only to be met with everyone from before
Y/n:How much did you all see!
Zabuza:Just all of it...
Everyone starts to walk their own separate ways as Zabuza walks up to y/n and puts his hand on his shoulder
Zabuza:Kind of feels like losing someone huh?
Y/n:You must've felt that when I left...
Zabuza:Well just like I knew you were gonna be okay just like you know those two are gonna be okay...
Y/n:Yea...
Zabuza:You put the mist on Naruto didn't you?
Y/n:How else am I suppose to help those two if they get in trouble?
Zabuza:So much for letting go...
Y/n:I'll do it my own way...
Zabuza:Your mother must be very proud...I'm heading home...don't forget to see Tsunade...
Y/n:I forgot about that...
He quickly makes his way to where Tsunade usually is
Y/n:I assume this is important...
Tsunade takes out a note
Tsunade:Its from the Hokage...
Y/n:Are you not the Hokage?
Tsunade smiles as she gives him the note
Tsunade:I think you know this one personally. ..
Y/n grabs the paper as he reads through it
Y/n:So the old man was serious about that huh? Guess it's nearby and I have nothing better to do...why not?
He tucks the paper in his pocket as he leaves
Y/n leans on a nearby tree and looks to the sky
Y/n:You'll be stronger when you get back but so will I...until we meet again Naruto...
