Hello! Before we get started, I have one last rule involving chapters. Game chapters that have 5 parts, will be split into three separate chapters. First chapter being the first act and the last being the fourth paired with the boss fight. So this is 3 parts. Enjoy!

Animals have a way of sensing danger that humans are unaware of. Their response to an approaching disaster is to flock away in massive numbers, birds being the prime example. A massive murder of crows flying away from the city of Monte Verde was enough to put Izanagi on edge.

She had woken up that morning from the flapping of said murder by her room. Vargas had told her about crows and ravens, the birds reminding her of the Pokemon Murkow and Honchkrow. Pokemon that are said to bring bad luck and misfortune especially in large droves. Something bad was going to happen. She just knows it.

The Doctor and Ryder were in the front room at the moment, talking about a door leading to giant relics while Knack was on the front porch with Lucas, Behemoth and Ribbon. The golem was in his natural 2'6 height as the generator powering Ryder's house had its relics stolen last night. Knack was kind to give his extra relics to power it since the thief wasn't found.

The looks on Behemoth and Ribbon's face seeing Knack shrink was comical. Or the surprising fact that apparently Behemoth was a softy towards smaller Pokemon and children. A small Knack easily fitting in that category too. It was shown when the Grimmsnarl suddenly picked up the little golem and carried him around on his shoulder while Ribbon got the opposite.

Behemoth easily got along with Lucas very well. Izanagi had spotted him teaching Lucas how to throw a proper punch the other day. None of them were blind about the young boy wanting to join in on the action. Especially when he asked for Izanagi to teach him how to fight. Training him without the Doctor or Ryder noticing was a bit difficult but not impossible.

Izanagi showed the brunette some basic grabs and throws to use, since her moves were a bit too aerodynamic for him at his current skill level. Behemoth and Blizzaria took on the roll of showing him proper punches and arm chops. And Trickster had him play tag alongside Electro, Goemon, and Draco to train his speed but also his awareness.

His awareness clearly was better than before from how quickly he looked up into the sky. Her eyes became slits at what the boy and their friends were staring at. Airships, tons of large bulky airships ranging from red, orange and the largest being a bright violet. These ships weren't the peaceful kind though.

Ryder had told them about his encounter with these particular aircrafts. The Doctor even showed schematics he made from the blonde's personal description. They belonged to goblins, and this was the arrival of an invasion. The city was quick to intercept as jets flew past them in the sky. "This isn't good." She said watching the battle above their heads. It was too many ships for the small squadron to deal with. They needed help now.

Grabbing Aeon's ball, Izanagi tosses it into the air with a battle cry. "Aeon, help out the Air Force with Techno-Blast!" The Genesect manifested in his High Speed Flight Mode and shot quickly into the air at supersonic speed. Aeon's cannon charged up with a bright violet before firing a large dark ultraviolet laser from the barrel.

The large beam easily sliced through a few of the goblin's warships, blasting them out of the sky. Pulling up an earpiece, Izanagi readied herself to speak. She requested her cousin Clemont to build a communication interceptor for Aeon in case they got into situations like this. This interceptor built near the cannon on his back.

An item for situations that required her to hack into government communications when absolutely needed. "Testing one two three, this is Izanagi Kouta over. Do you hear me? This is Izanagi Kouta, asking for any person in command or on the line, over." The greenette spoke, waiting for a response. A few seconds later and she got someone.

"This is Falco 3-21 of Monte Verde's Air Force. This is a restricted military communication channel. How did you get this com. line?" The voice of a male pilot questioned, sounding annoyed and angry. "It's not important right now. I've sent some help to your men so you guys can combat the goblin airships above better. His name is Aeon and he's my Genesect. Recognizable by the violet hoverboard shaped form and cannon on his back."

"He'll be supplying aerial support to your jets so please don't shoot him down. You guys won't be able to keep the goblins out of the city but we can at least halt their progress enough for civilians to get to safety. My team and friends will assist in defending this city from their invasion force. All I'm asking is if your men encounter us, please don't shoot." Izanagi explained over the mic.

A little moment of silence, she finally got an answer. "Affirmative Miss Kouta. We appreciate your assistance and I'll make sure my comrades don't unleash any friendly fire. I do have advice. If we want these bastards to retreat, then we need to take out their leader. Once the leader is defeated, they'll disperse and retreat. I would like to have a talk with you later about invading military protocols after this is done. Godspeed ma'am." And the call ended.

The Doctor popped outside from the porch door. "Lucas, we need some help making fake relic trackers. Izanagi, can you help us too? And Knack, can you and your team give us some room to work?" Vargas requested. "You got it, Doc. Good luck Knack, Ribbon and Behemoth." The greenette then gave Knack a kiss on the forehead before heading inside the house.

The golem had a little dopey smile on his face before straightening his composure. 'Let's go guys!' Knack thought, raising a fist in the air to emphasize his thoughts. "Grimmsnarl! Appletun!" The two dual types chirped in agreement, as if on the same page of their inhuman partner. He wished he brought a camera for the next few parts.

Goblins came in many different sizes and few variants of skin color, mostly blue, yellow and green. The smaller ones, usually blue in color, can be considered the grunts of their force. Wielding weapons like hatchets, bladed boomerangs, bows and even exploding dice. The bigger ones, around the size of human adults, usually yellow in color, are Hobgoblins.

They wear better protective armor and the weapons they wield are more dangerous. Broadswords, crossbows capable of firing multiple arrows paired with a nasty charge shot, homemade red crystal grenades and even dual bladed sentinel spears to name a few. The path around Ryder's house wasn't suited for their larger sentries, leaving the trio to combat invading Hobgoblins and grunts.

These goblins were wielding energy blasters, high grade steel bladed boomerangs and high grade armor, a setup perfect for an invasion force. "App!!" Ribbon bodychecked one of the smaller Goblins with a nasty Body Slam. A few of the grunts were cursing in their native language. None of them realized that Knack now had a lot of extra help. "Grimmsnarl!!!" Behemoth struck a blaster wielding Hobgoblin in the gut with a brutal Mega Punch.

Knack quickly ducking under the Hobgoblin sent airborne by Behemoth and moved in for a leg sweep on an unsuspecting small goblin. A Grenade chucking Goblin tossed a few homemade grenades into the consuming madness. He didn't expect Ribbon to leap and slap the explosives away. These very bombs crashed into a few of the grenadier's unsuspecting comrades.

Picking up relics from their fallen opponents, the now 3'11 Knack spoke up after glancing at the fallen squadron. "They've airdropped their troops across the city. The goblins must be very desperate about this invasion." Knack said with a serious look. Luckily, communication between him and his partners were no longer difficult. "Appletun app apple tun tun!/(Maybe they want to make an example of the city?)" Ribbon chirped in her language.

Vinny and the Doctor had made a prototype machine that could translate Pokespeech for Knack to use. It made conversations between them easier and possibly open the path for translators made for humans to use. The golem hummed from the Appletun's guess. "You might be onto something Ribbon. We did infiltrate a goblin village for answers before the whole giant relic issue began. They might want revenge or payback." Knack said thoughtfully.

"Grimm Grimmsnarl snarl grim./(We still need to repel them before some innocent bystanders get hurt. This place has also been my home before I met you Master Knack. It's my duty to protect it!)" Behemoth explained in a message of serious sounding growls. A loud crash immediately disrupted their conversation.

The trio turned around to see a chilling sight. A large 20 ft mechanical suit like robot with saw blades for hands had dropped them in front of Ryder's house. The machine being piloted by a Goblin who was smiling maliciously at the humans, his friends inside. Something within the golem snapped in an instant once those saw blades began revving.

To say she was terrified is quite a statement. Izanagi had been requested to make fake relic trackers by the Doctor's group. It was a plan to find the very factory that was supplying the weapons and take it down in one fell swoop. The greenette could easily admit that it was smart and crafty, especially coming from Ryder of all people.

She wasn't saying that the man wasn't smart. Izanagi just didn't see him being that cunning, it sounded like something the Doctor would've thought of, but it was highly welcomed. The greenette would bake him some cookies as a reward later. If there wasn't a mech piloting goblin in front of the window with trigger saw blade fingers.

"Fuck!" Izanagi cursed as she was ready to get the others out of the house. The thought was immediately derailed when a small explosion hit the robot in the back. The mech turned around to be greeted with another explosion from a circular landmine, these explosives being tossed by Behemoth. But where was Knack?

A golden blur shot out of nowhere and slammed the goblin mech to the ground with a loud thud. The golden blur was Knack himself, his body blazing brightly in a coat of Sunstone energy and he looked absolutely pissed. "Don't you dare hurt my friends or my Izanagi!!!" Roared the golem before proceeding to smash the mech to smithereens with Focus Punch after Focus Punch.

A berserker Knack had crumpled the machinery to scrap before proceeding to drag out the mech's pilot by the neck. A 11 ft goblin being dragged by a 3'11 relic golem was utterly terrifying for the former. The victim in question shuddered under the harsh death stare from Knack. "Get out of my face!!" Knack roared, raising his right arm up. The sunstone energy covering his right hand turned a sickly purple before morphing into large dark shadowy claws.

"Apple!/(That's Shadow Claw!)" Ribbon cried out in surprise. Shadow Claw was a Ghost Type Move that cloaked the user's claw in ghastly energy, energy that guaranteed sinister critical hits. Since when did Knack learn something as vicious as that was unknown. The sound of a loud sickening slap followed by cartoonish screaming echoed across the yard as the goblin was literally sent flying over the horizon. "Grimmsnarl grimm snarl grimm!/(A homerun topped with a critical hit too! Ouch!)" Behemoth commentated whilst flinching from the sound of that harsh slap.

Knack let out a few deep breaths, Sunstone and shadow dissipating once he was calmed down. He'd never gotten that angry before in his life. It was just the thought of his friends or Izanagi getting hurt, or much worse… He shook the thought out of his head. No time for any rage or fury. They had to go back and check on the others.

Getting back to the house didn't take long with Ribbon and Behemoth accompanying him alongside adding a Sunstone Rally to boost their speed. Knack also found some relics allowing him to bulk up back at 6'4 in height. Walking inside while being careful not to break the doorway, the golem got into the house.

"We're back. Is everyone alright?" Knack asked looking at the group. He didn't see Izanagi any- Next thing he knew, the golem was on the floor with a certain greenette having a death grip on him. "Don't do that again, you asshole! You had me scared when you charged at that saw blade wielding lunatic willy-nilly!" She shouted while shaking him relentlessly.

"P-p-lease stop-p sh-aki-ng me! I won't d-o it ag-a-in!" Knack stuttered while the woman on top of him was giving him a piece of her mind. She finally relented before getting off him and Behemoth helping him off the floor. Her worry was understandable. His previous form wasn't suited to fighting an enemy that size.

"Hey Knack, take a look at this!" The golem was quick to catch what appeared to be a relic. Though, it felt off as he didn't feel that much relic energy and noticed the faint red lines under the surface. "Looks like a real relic, doesn't it? Izanagi suggested to hide the sensors better if one of them had a better eye." Lucas explained, the golem impressed by the design.

"We'll be spreading these around town and hope one of them picks it up. Aeon helping out the air force makes it easier to traverse town without any extra goblins. As for you, Lucas, I want you to stay here and make a few extra. We might need them later." Izanagi easily seeing the frown on the brunette's face.

She waited for Ryder and Vargas to leave before approaching the boy. Lucas didn't expect her to hold out Draco's Pokeball. "Take Draco with you, Lucas. He'll be a big help when you patrol the neighborhood. This place might be safe but there might be others nearby who need help." Was she…?

"You want a chance to prove yourself? Then protect the people here first. They'll need a hero." Izanagi had a soft and proud smile on her face. The brunette took Draco's Beast Ball with pride. A determined look in his eyes. "I'll do my best. You guys go to stop those goblins." Lucas responded, getting a hug from Izanagi before she followed the others.

The brunette then felt something in his pocket. Putting his hand in, he pulled out what looked like a sapphire with a dark blue dragon symbol in it with a small note on it. This nore contained only two pictures. A person holding their hands together before spreading them both part diagonally, like the jaws of a dragon…

He immediately knew what this jewel was. And his respect for Izanagi grew even stronger. "Definitely the best sister figure in the whole world. Those goblins better watch out if they try and hurt someone. Because I got a friend and some Draconium Z to unleash on them."

Pokespeech has been added. They'll be underlined for the translation. Yes. Lucas will be having some action in later chapters but you'll also be some from Ryder and the Doctor too.

As for the Draconium Z, it allows a Pokemon to use the Dragon Type Z Move: Rising Drake.

Until next time!
