(1year later Shinobu P.O.V)
It's been a year and I'm now 15, Hikari is 17 over the past year I joined the pillars as the insect pillar mitsuri did as well and became the love pillar
As time past Hikari has opened up more and stoped staying in Kanaes room he's calmed down a lot and became much more mature but it's obvious he still hasn't gotten over it he still can't smile like he used to there's always sadness behind it not that I'm any different.
"Master Hikaris back"
Kanao walks up to me and says
He was on a mission quite far away so it's been a while since we've all seen him
"Then let's go greet him"
I say as I walk out of my lab we're I work on my poisons
to see Hikari walking down the hallway towards us
"Ah Shinobu how are you"
He asks
"I'm fine what about you"
"I'm tired"
He always says that I can't remember the last time he wasn't tired it's like he's lost all the energy he had in the past
"I see well you've had a long journey why don't you go rest and all have one of the girls bring you something to eat
"Thanks, I'll be in Kanaes room I want to greet her too"
"Of course I'll have them bring it there"

He says and starts to walk off

I go to Kanaes room and greet her like I always do, as usual there's no response, afterwards Sumi brought me some food for me to eat which was delicious
"Thank you Sumi"
"Your welcome Hikari-nii"
"ah I better get going there's a pillar meeting later today"
I say and get up from the chair
"Tell Shinobu for me, will ya"
I say
"I will but are you sure you don't want to stay and visit more"
Sumi asks
"I don't want to overstay my welcome"
"What do you mean you live here"
She tilts her head confused
"Ah uh yeah well I wursts Shinobu hasn't told you yet huh"
I say making her even more confused
"Told me what"
"I'm a pillar so I was recently given an estate nearby, so I'm moving there"

"i put it of for a long time but I just can't handle living here anymore" My voice wavers a little
"what do you mean this is your home, why can't you"
At that moment the rest of the residence came to Kanaes room to see what was happening
"whats the comotion"
Shinobi asks
"Hikari-nii is moving away"
Sumi tells them
""WHAT"" Kiyo and Naho shout
Kanao has a surprised face but didn't make a sound
"Was it something we did, we're sorry please forgive us"
Sumi pleaded
"Please don't go"

said kiyo.
"it has nothing to do with you, it's about me, I will come and visit don't worry, I must go now I don't want to be late" I say and walk off

I catch up to Hikari and we walk side by side towards Oyakata-Sana'a residence
"You just had to let it slip huh, your really bad at keeping secrets, how many people have you told your crush to by accident"
I say leaning forward and looking up at him
"I'm too tired for this, save the teasing for Giyu"
Giyu is the water pillar, he is also the person Shinobu 'likes' to tease
"Mmmm"
I give him a intense glare

We continued to walk in silence after that and we made it to the meeting early

Tengen greets Hikari and puts his arm around his shoulder
"How you been buddy you wanna be my underling now"

"I see, remember the spot is always open, come serve me if you want to obtain max flamboyance"
As he dose a silly pose
"Noted"
Was all Hikari said
"Ah Shinobu-chan you got hear before me"
I turn around to see Mitsuri walking in with Rengoku
"Hello, its good to see you agin Mitsuri"
"Yeah it's been a looooong time"
"It has, I'm glad to see your doing well"
"You look cute as ever"

"HIKARI, TENGEN, ITS NICE TO SEE YOU"

I respond with a quiet hum
"It's time for our flamboyant reunion" Tengen said enthusiastically
"HA HA IT IS THAT TIME INDEED"
It took another 20 minutes for the rest to arrive so we just talked about what had happened in the time we didn't see each other
The door slide open and out stepped Oyakata the purple mark on his forehead much more visible then before
"Greetings children, it's a nice day today is it not"
"Greetings Oyakata-sama, you are correct today is a lovely day. We are all glad to see you in good condition"
Himejima spoke for the pillars
"Thank you all, I've called this meeting today too discuss the recent activity of stronger demons appearing. As you know many demons close to moon demons strength have been appearing and because of this all of you have been dispersed all across the country because are normal slayers can't deal with them. I would like to know your opinion on this matter"
He asks
"The pieces of crap are nothing, I can take em easily" Sanemi said
"I agree there not a problem to us" Himejima says
"It's troubling having so many pillars away at once"Shinobu said
"Indeed, it's true it would be a problem if no pillars are avalible"
Himejima agreed with shinobu aswell
"It's like there purposely separating us"
I say causing everyone to look at me
"Muzan can make demons stronger with his blood that's what I understand so he's probably making strong demons to distract us from his true objective. Because this has been going on for a long time he probably hasn't completed that objective yet, we should try and figure out what he's trying to accomplish and stop it"
I continue
"That's a very good observation Hikari, judging by were the demons have appeared there's always one area with a substantial decrease in attacks but then it will rise again and another area will have a decrease, he's searching for something"
Oyakata spoke
"But what"
Asked Iguro
"who knows, for now we will proceed as we have by sending pillars to the strongest demons, Giyu it will be your job to track Muzan"
Said Oyakata
"Are you sure it's Muzan would he really come out of hiding personally to find whatever it is wouldn't he use his subordinates"
Asked Giyu
"that's true it's posible it could be an upper moon, if you find the demon in charge of the search do not engage and send word immediately"
"Hai"
"I believe that is all, you are all dismissed please be ready at anytime to be sent off, oh Hikari I have prepaired some Kakushi to help you move into your new estate"
Oyakata said as he stood up to leave
We all stood up as he finished speaking
"I appreciate that very much Oyakata-sama" I say and give a small bow and begin walking away
"See ya Hikari" Tengen said
"TILL NEXT TIME" kyojiro have his goodbyes and I just put my hand in the air and waved
