Keefe had known from the day he met Sophie at the party that she would be the one for him, the match to his sarcastic personality, and watching her chat with Biana on the balcony it was all he could think about.
"So, were leaving tomorrow night, remember to pack your stuff." Sophie called from the balcony.
"Got it!" He replied, leaving the room to stroll down the beach. The sand made a faint crunching noise as it squished between his toes. The air was had a sweet scent to it, likely from the flowers scattered across the resort.
The sun was setting, and the golden light rippled across the water, casting the perfect glow on the sand making it look like molten gold rather then sand.
He couldn't quite recall how long he sat there resting in the sand before he heard someone sit down in the sand. And it wasn't Sophie, the scent was of over-priced sex juice—sorry—perfume.
"Hey Keefie, remember me?"
