(Day 2 of daily updates)
(This my longest chapter in any of my books so be ready for a bit of a read...)

Y/n sees the two standing on top of the towering statues
Naruto on the right
Sasuke on the left
And y/n goes to the water in the middle that is separating them...
He jumps up to the waterfall as Naruto is shouting at Sasuke who isn't even looking at him
Naruto:Sasuke!
The name echos but seems like it is not heard by Sasuke at all as he doesn't turn around to even look at Naruto...
Naruto:Are you going to run away!?
Sasuke turns around
Sasuke:You shouldn't worry about me anymore...
Naruto:All the time we've spent together...doesn't that mean anything to you!?
Sasuke:No...
Naruto:Then why! Why are you like this!
Y/n:Everyone is different Naruto...not everyone will think the same as you...
Sasuke:What I do doesn't concern you...no one has the right to tell me what to do...I'm done fooling around with everyone at the leaf...go home...
Naruto:Everyone risked their lives to after you!
Sasuke:Good for them...they wasted their time...
Naruto jumps across to Sasuke as Y/n follows him as well
Y/n steps in between them
Naruto:What are doing y/n...get out of the way!
Y/n:Its quite apparent that he doesn't want to return...we did good getting out here...everyone did...
Naruto:You haven't even said anything to get him to stay...
Y/n:He's made up his mind...
Sasuke:The people of the leaf mean nothing to me...I'm going to where Orochimaru is...
Y/n:You're going to receive a curse mark like the ones we fought earlier...
Sasuke:Orochimaru has already given me power...
Naruto:He tried to kill The Third Hokage and wants to destroy the village! You think I'd let you go with someone like that! Y/n how can you not want to stop him?
Y/n:If Sasuke attacks the village then I will kill him...he knows that and I know that...
Naruto:You're so quick to kill one of your friends...it shouldn't even come to that!
Sasuke:Well if you keep getting my way then it can't be helped...
Y/n:People change Naruto...
Sasuke goes to punch Naruto as well
Y/n stops him
Y/n:So its like that huh...
Naruto:Sasuke put on your headband!
Sasuke:It no longer means anything to me...
He throws Naruto to the right and kicks Sasuke further to the left
Y/n jumps back in the middle
Y/n:If it is a fight you want then it is a fight you shall receive...
Y/n places his sword, blade first into the water and takes off his Leaf headband
He ties it around his sword
Y/n:I am representing The Leaf Village...
Sasuke takes out a few kunai
Naruto hesitates to do the same
Naruto:Y/n...
Y/n:Fight for your ideals Naruto! Show me why I envy that from you! You've done it this whole time I've spent with you...don't stop now because it's me!
Naruto gains a determined look on his face but inside he still is hesitant
Sasuke:Without y/n here you'd be nothing but a coward...he's the only person I'll remember when I leave...
Y/n grabs his sword and places it on his back...
They all look at each other before Naruto makes the first move
He jumps at Sasuke as Sasuke jumps at Naruto as well
Y/n jumps in between once again but these time doesn't just stop them
He elbows them both in their stomachs
Y/n:I hope you both can forgive me...
He immediately grabs them both and throws them into the water below
The both emerge quickly as they look for y/n
Y/n and a few clones jump out of the water
Y/n:You are in my domain now...
The clones starts to fight the two
Sasuke is holding out but Naruto is having a harder time keeping up
Y/n watches as his clones fight and thinks to himself...
They've grown quite strong...
The clones erupt in mist as it blurs their vision
Sasuke:Stop hiding and face me y/n!
Y/n stands in front him
Y/n:Then come on then...
Sasuke throws several kunai at y/n as he blocks them all with his arm
He pulls them out and covers them in water before throwing them into the water as they disappear from sight
Sasuke stares at y/n who is standing there but a kunai comes from the water underneath himand slashes Sasuke's cheek
Sasuke:You made them travel through the water...
Y/n uses the distraction he caused and grabs Sasuke by his throat...
He shoves Sasuke deep into the water as he is met with kunai flying at him
He looks around the water and notices that y/n has clones littered just below the surface of the water
Back above the surface is still a confused Naruto
A sword comes flying through the mist as Naruto is slashed across his cheek as well
Y/n appears at his sword with two kunai in hand
He tosses one to Naruto as he catches it
However Naruto has no time to think as y/n immediately starts to attack him
Naruto holds out for a bit before Sasuke reemerges from the water
Sasuke:Y/n!
Sasuke runs in as y/n fights Naruto with his kunai in one hand and fights Sasuke with the other
He sweep kicks Naruto and kicks him away to the right before quickly using the kunai he was using to fight him on Sasuke
He throws it as Sasuke dodges it
Y/n kicks Sasuke to the left
He is now in middle on the two once again
Sasuke:Since you keep getting in my way then I'll have to go through you!
Sasuke charges a Chidori in his hand
Naruto:Fine! Then I'll do the same!
Naruto charges a Rasengan in his hand
Y/n sighs as he slashes his chest deeply
The blood falls into the water
His puts both of his arms into the water as two Bloody Rasengans appear in both his hands
Y/n:What are you two waiting for...?
They both run in yelling
Y/n puts his hands up to counter both of their attacks
As the collide there is a bit if struggle
It is quickly ended by y/n's attack pushing them both back
Y/n body is damaged but the left side is far more damaged than the right side
He starts to heal as the red chakra surrounds Naruto
It's that chakra from before...
Naruto:Y/n!
Naruto quickly appears in front of y/n
All he can do is block as he is sent flying
He is sent into a wall as he smashes into it
He quickly pull himself out as he sees Sasuke fighting Naruto
Sasuke can't keep up as y/n runs in to fight as well
Sasuke and Y/n both try to attack Naruto but are met with a punch to the face or a kick to the stomach
This isn't the same as before...
Naruto throws Sasuke into a wall as he flies after him
Y/n appears by his sword and throws it into the wall Sasuke crashed into
Naruto:If you don't come to your senses Sasuke then I'll have to break all the bones in your arms and legs to bring you home
Sasuke:Shut up...
Sasuke regains a bit if strength
Sasuke:What the heck do you who has neither family,parents or brothers think you understand? What makes you think you know anything about me!? Who had no ties to family!
Naruto angry expression softens a bit as he looks at y/n
Naruto:Y/n...
Sasuke:Its because I have ties that I feel this agony! How could you possibly understand to feel to lose all of that Naruto!
Sasuke pushes himself out of the wall as he tackles Naruto on the way out
They go towards the water as y/n appears on the water waiting for the two
As it settles down the three stare at each other once again
Naruto:Even though I don't know what it feels to have parents...when Iruka or Pervy Sage are around...It's feel what I imagined having a father feels like...and when my friends from the leaf are around...its what I imagine family feels like...
Sasuke:Why go through the lengths you have...just to stop me?
Naruto:For me it's a tie I've finally been able to have! That's why I'm going to stop you!
Sasuke sighs a bit before putting on his headband
Sasuke:Its too late...I can't go back anymore...
Sasuke's eyes start to transform
Sasuke:I'll just have to cut the tie you speak of...
Naruto:Then why put on your headband?
Sasuke:I'll acknowledge you two...you're both strong...but pain makes people stronger...you both know that...so by cutting our tie to each other I will be able to obtain even greater strength...
Naruto:It seems that whatever I say now won't have an effect huh?
Y/n laughs a bit
Y/n:You're just now finding that out?
Sasuke:Enough talking...
Y/n goes to attack Sasuke but he block all of his hits
Y/n:What the hell...?
Sasuke kicks him away as Naruto tries the same as y/n did with the same result but Naruto is sent flying
Y/n goes to attack again and is kicked back once again
He's predicting your moves...
Maybe his eye transforming has something to do with it...
Y/n has mirrors appear from the ground as they surround Sasuke
Y/n:Thanks Haku...
He funnels mist into the area of the mirrors to make it even harder for Sasuke to see
Y/n appears in all of the mirrors as Sasuke starts to shatter them one by one
He gets to the last one and breaks it as he sees y/n behind it
Sasuke:Found you...
Y/n:You're right I did find you...
Y/n appears from above kicking Sasuke away
Y/n:You can't keep track of someone if you can't see them...
A bright red light start to he see from where Naruto is
It's stronger than before...by far...
Sasuke charges up his Chidori as well as he puts all his power into it
Same with Sasuke...
Y/n has his sword appear in his hand and covers it in water
That should make it easier to carry...
They are going to clash again...since both of their attacks are very strong if we stop them with our own attack the explosion could kill them both...most likely will..
Y/n sighs
I'm going to need your help then...
Your entire body?
Just my arms...
Why I could protect you...
Y/n is slient for a bit as he doesn't hear Naruto and Sauke yelling at each other
Mother should be happy about this at least...
Y/n what are you thinking about doing!
I know what is it...I don't like it...there won't be enough for you for a bit...you'll feel...
I understand...
No! Stop y/n!
I have enough for two people...it resides inside of only you so you have extra to spare...
I see no one better than the two people before me...
The shadow covers y/n's arms as Sasuke and Naruto run at each other for their final attack
Y/n puts his hands up and prepares for the attack
They both collide with y/n's hands as he blocks them
The shadow from his arms starts to disperse slowly as it goes to Naruto and Sasuke instead
The combined attacks consume the three of them and the sheer power of blast cuts Sasuke's headband across the middle
As the blast clears Naruto and Sasuke both get up full of energy
Sasuke:Is that it Naruto! I feel like I could do it again no problem!
Naruto:Same here Sasuke! I didnt even feel your attack!
They both look at y/n
His arms are both gone and his torso is badly destroyed as a couple of his ribs are now visible and his head completely scratched
Naruto and Sasuke wait for y/n to heal but it doesn't happen...
Naruto:What are you waiting for y/n!
It starts to rain as the drops land on y/n and as they roll down his face they resemble...
Tears...
It hurts...
Just give me a bit of time y/n...
Y/N!
He spits up blood
Y/n:Is...that....it...?
He painfully laughs
Naruto:What...what happened!
Naruto slashes his finger as Sasuke quietly does the same...
The shadow that usually heals y/n is now healing them...
Naruto stabs himself in the stomach
Naruto:I...I don't feel it!
Y/n body falls down into the water as it starts to sink
Take a rest y/n...it's okay...
How can you sound like you don't care!
I do care damn it! I'm just as scared as you maybe more but being scared isn't going to help him! He made his decision and now I'm going to help him through it by keeping my composure!
Up on the surface Sasuke starts to shake as he runs off as his headband falls off
Sasuke starts to shed a couple of tears
Sasuke:I'm sorry y/n...
Naruto doesn't waste breath to stop Sasuke as he uses it all to dive into the water
His concern is no longer Sasuke but saving y/n
But he is far too deep in the water
The water seems to lift Naruto out of the water on its own
As Naruto remerges he yells
Naruto:Let me save you y/n! Please!
But everytime he tries to dive into the water it brings him back to the top
The rain just adds to the tension as he continues trying
After a while Kakashi shows up
He picks up Sasuke's headband
Kakashi:I see Sasuke got away unfortunately...I didnt see y/n on the way here...have you seen him?
Naruto looks away as he points to y/n's sword that's in the water...
Y/n's headbands are still tied to it
Kakashi:No...not y/n...
Kakashi:Naruto...
Naruto:I'm not leaving without y/n!
Kakashi:I know Naruto...I want to help...
They both nod at each other as Naruto tries to dive into the water as Kakashi gets the idea and does the same
Just as before the water stops them
After several attempts the both get tired
Kakashi puts his hand on Naruto's shoulder
Kakashi:Im...I'm sorry Naruto...
Naruto:I don't want to lose my brother...
But as Naruto speaks the rain stops
They both look up and see the clouds clear away as well
The sun shows itself and as they look down y/n's body emerges fully intact..all healed up...
Naruto sees him and starts to cry tears of joy as Kakashi smiles under his mask
Y/n is unconscious however
Kakashi puts him on his back
Kakashi:Can you carry his sword?
Naruto nods his head as he goes up to the sword stabbed in the water
Naruto:Its covered in water...
He goes to pick it up as it is lighter than before
Kakashi:Nice Naruto...now come on...
The sun shines on them
Kakashi:Let's go home...
