Yoongi smiled at his phone screen, as it illuminated his face with a bright blue glow, rereading their texts over and over again.
Even if Yoongi didn't exactly show it through his texts, he actually really enjoyed texting Hoseok. The younger never failed to make him laugh with the weird and stupid yet admirable emoticons and phrases, despite Yoongi's sarcastic replies.
But behind those unenthusiastic text replies and somewhat dry messages, Yoongi was a smiling, giggly, blushing, and gushy mess. All these happy emotions never stopped bubbling up inside him, spreading it all throughout every part of his body as it slowly be rid of all his gloomy and pessimistic feelings that only ceased to exist when Hoseok was around.
Or texting him, for the matter.
It acted as his break from all the built up stress and anxieties, finally freeing him from all these negative and discouraging instances happening in his life currently.
And the only relaxation he ever got, was from Hoseok.
After a long and tiring day of work, he'd automatically pull out his phone and shoot Hoseok a text as soon as his butt sat down in the car seat, not even thinking about anything else more productive he could be doing at the moment.
It was the same for basketball, or really anything that was more stress-provoking at all. The brunette never let Yoongi down or failed to cheer up his sullen moods, and he couldn't have been more thankful.
Yes, the rest of the group were always there for him as well and he texted them just as much as he did for Hoseok, but there was something different about texting him than the others.
Possibly being the specific and chaotic energy he put out, so strong that it radiated through the phone screen. Or maybe it was his special use of emojis.
Or maybe-
No, that couldn't be it.
Yoongi pushed the thought aside, immediately brushing it off as if it was just another deranged idea.
