One week later
I sat in the hospital room on the bed laying my head on kentrell as he slept
It was time for my last chemo treatment and I don't know how I feel
He was sad and everything but I told him not to worry cause I was going to be okay..
Kentrell started shaking in his sleep making me lean up looking at him
As the shaking sped up I quickly shook him awake scared
"Kentrell" I said slapping his face making him jump up grabbing his gun from out his waistband looking around with low eyes
"You okay what's wrong?" I asked grabbing his hand with the gun putting it down
"I'm paranoid and I'm scared kahlo" he said sighing laying back
"I can tell you was shaking n shit" I said resting my head back on him
"They was shootin bae and I shot back" he mumbled raspy rubbing his hands down his face
"Look we're okay I'm okay and my arms okay" I said kissing his cheek
"Man ion wanna lose you kahlo" he said tightening his grip around me
"You're not going to lose me I'll always be on side you" I said twisting his hair
He breathed out slightly moving uncomfortably
"Na go back to sleep" I mumbled closing my eyes
"I can't imma sit hea and make sure nobody come in" he said shrugging as he got up
"Kentrell it's a hospital nobody's coming in this part of the building without access" I said slowly getting up
"Kahlo man what chu doing you know you got cho treatment tomorrow go lay down" kentrell said smacking his teeth as I slipped on my slides walking to the door
"If you not gon sleep I'm not gon sleep now come on" I said holding my hand out
"Man kahlo why You'on listen?" Kentrell grumbled grabbing my hand
"Cause I live life to the fullest the way I want" I said walking out the room pulling him behind me
"Where we going?" He asked confused as I pressed the elevator button
"That's for me to know and you to find out" I said slightly looking back at him
He grabbed me up by my throat kissing me passionately making me tilt my head some deepening the kiss
From the corner of my eye I seen a figure and I turned jumping
"Why y'all doing out so late?" Dr.Jones asked holding her clip board
"Umm going for a walk" I said quickly scratching my head
"Mmhm don't be out to late you have to get some rest for chemo tomorrow" she said before walking off
"That computer shaped ass bitch always in our business" kentrell mumbled mugging where she was just standing
"Kentrell be nice" I said laughing as the elevator opened
We walked inside and I pressed the first floor closing the door
"Kahlo I still ain't tell you what I wanted to tell you a week ago" kentrell said scratching his head
"What is it that you want to tell me?" I asked looking over at him
"Sooo um you promise you ain't gon get mad?" He questioned
"It depends" I said looking concerned
"Man you know that time we fucked before we got the tattoos?" He said putting his hands in his pocket
"Umm Yea" I mumbled squinting my eyes
"Well umm I kinda sorta by mistake possibly nutted in you and um you might by the slightest bit of chance might be pregnant" he said quickly making me tilt my head
"Oh no" I mumbled rubbing my head
"Look I know you upset but-
"That's not why I'm saying that I'm saying that because I don't know if I can take my last chemo session if I'm pregnant" I said running my hands down my face
"Bae I'm sure you can just ask" kentrell said as the elevator door opened
"Ion even know who to ask for help-
I stopped in my sentence as grace the lady from the front desk walked past
"Dr.grace" I whispered yelled chasing after her
"Oh hello kahlo is there something you need?" She asked turning
"Umm do y'all have any pregnancy test by like any chance?" I laughed nervously
"Oh my" she gasped looking back at kentrell
"Please don't tell anybody" I begged , if my mother found out I had even lost my virginity she would flip
"Okay" she sighed "follow me" she said as she begun walking again
I looked back at kentrell and he grabbed my hand following behind her
But the thing was he wasn't mad...he had this little smirk on his face like he accomplished something
We walked down the hall and into a hospital room and she closed the door quietly
"Alright I should have some up in here" she said going to the cabinet opening it up
"Bae you gon be Ight" kentrell said as he sat in the chair next to the bed grabbing my hand
"No kentrell I'm not" I said annoyed getting up
"Why not? A baby a blessing why you ain't happy?" He asked confused
"Cause if I have the baby I wanna be in its life I don't want he or she to be without a mom cause it hurts and yea they'll have you but what about me?" I asked as tears formed in my eyes as I took the pregnancy test from Dr.grace and stormed in the bathroom

"If she is pregnant she'll come around eventually" the doctor said nodding
"She making me feel bad na I thought a baby would make ha happy" I mumbled looking at the ground as I squeaked my shoe on the floor
"It will she's just scared right now if happens to most" she said shrugging
"She'll still be able to take her chemo if she pregnant right?" I asked nervously
"Of course women with breast cancer take chemo even while pregnant and it may cause some side effects but since this is her last one she and the baby should be okay" the lady smiled
I nodded hearing the toilet flush and the sink come on , a few seconds later kahlo opened the door holding the pregnancy test giving it to the doctor
"Now we wait 15 minutes" the doctor said as kahlo sat back on the bed
"You'll be able to do yo last session of chemo if you is pregnant" I said to her trying to break the silence
"Oh okay" she said swinging her legs as she played with her fingers
"Kahlo man why you acting like that?" I smacked my teeth getting up
"And this is my exit I'll be back in 15" the lady said quickly before walking out
"I'm not acting no type of way" she said shrugging
"Yes the fuck you is man you can't even look at me" I said annoyed
"Well maybe I don't want too" she mumbled
"Why not?" I asked
"Cause I already told you what it was and you still did it anyway" she semi-yelled getting up
"You know what ion give a fuck no mo You'on want it abort it I was just tryna make you happy" I said flashing before walking out slamming the door
I heard her start to cry from the room but I ignored it walking away to the exit of the hospital
I needed a smoke...
