Our relationship is not perfect, just like the other couples. We also fight like what normal couples do, but at the end of the day, nagbabati naman kami.
It was a very rough day for me, masyadong pabuhat yung mga ka group ko at parang may galit ata sa akin 'tong prof namin. I went to the kitchen at bigla nalang nagdilim ang paningin ko. Ibinato ko ang kaldero sa sahig agad namang lumapit si Luna kaya hindi ko sinasadyang masigawan sya.
"Luna, wala manlang pagkain? Wala pa 'kong kinakain mag hapon!" Agad kong pinagsisihan ang sinabi ko noong nakita ko ang mga luha sa mata ng babaeng pinakamamahal ko. Lalo akong nainis sa sarili ko noong umalis sya sa condo.
"Give me some space muna," She said before walking out. Inis na inis ako sa sarili ko sa parteng ito, maybe because we are both tired and drained and we need some space....from each other. Natulog akong umiiyak noong gabi na iyon.
Luna didn't contact me for a week. Masyado na rin ako naging busy kaya itinuon ko nalang muna sa studies ang time ko. It was a Friday night noong nag aya sila na mag club, I don't have a choice but to tag along.
Agad kong hinanap si Luna noong nakita ko sa kabilang couch ang tropa nya, nanghinayang ako noong hindi ko sya nakita.
"Bro, she's here. Mukhang pinopormahan ni Vlad." Xavier said as he pointed towards the direction where Luna is. Agad na kumulo ang dugo ko when I saw him wrapping his arms on my girl's waist.
Agad akong pumunta doon, stopping myself from beating the shit out of him. Vlad is known as the university's asshole. Laging ganito ang gawain nya, pupunta sa club, hahanap ng babaeng ka one night stand. I am beyond disgusted of him.
"Vlad, Hindi ka nga daw nya kilala. Fuck off." I said while still trying to be calm. I saw Luna looked up at me. "Sol, bro. Chill." He said before letting my princess go. Bro my ass.
"You're my home, I'll always come back to you."
Those words made my heart burst with joy. Luna is my home. Hindi ko alam kung kakayanin kong wala sya.
The holidays that I spent with her, that's the very special holiday so far. We always make good memories with eachother. We're like soulmates.
I'm very proud of every milestone na naabot namin. We managed to achieve our dreams together. We both graduated with Latin honors. We made a speech in front of every graduates. It was perfect. Our life was perfect. Little did we know, it was the calm before the storm.
We decided to go to Sagada bago ako umalis ng Pilipinas. Alam kong malungkot si Luna, she's just hiding it pero halata sa mga mata nya.
"I love you, Luna." My voice broke dahil pinipigilan ko ang pag-iyak ko. Tuluyan nang tumulo ang luha ko noong niyakap nya ako ng mahigpit.
"You'll always be my home Luna, always remember that." I said as I hugged her tighter.
"Huwag kang matakot, Hindi mo ba alam nandito lang ako sa iyong tabi, hindi kita pababayaan kailanman." I sang to her softly, unti-unti na ring tumulo ang mga luha ko.
"Papahirapan mo ang sarili mo para sa atin." I heard her whisper that but I acted like I didn't. It broke my heart, but I'm willing to do everything for her.
"Happy anniversary love, I love you." I said as I hugged her tight. If only we can stay like this forever.
I let her pick up my clothes that she wants to keep. I sprayed my favorite perfume there para lagi nya akong naamoy.
Today is our anniversary, so I decided to make breakfast in bed for her. I'm so glad that she liked it. May pa despedida lunch ang tropa ko kaya maaga akong nag ready. I promise to be home for dinner.
"Bro, kakayanin nyo ba ni Luna yung LDR?" Isaac said. I smiled bitterly as I nodded my head.
"Mamimiss ka namin bro." Xavier said as he faked a cry. "Gago." I said while laughing.
"Babalik ka naman para mag take ng board exam di'ba?" Nicole asked me. "Yeah."
"Mamimiss ka talaga namin pare." Enzo said as he also faked a cry. Binato ko naman sya ng tissue. We were laughing noong biglang nahulog sa sahig ang baso at nabasag, pinalinis nalang namin iyon.
Pag-uwi ko sa condo ay patay lahat ng ilaw. Then there I saw the person that I treasure the most.
"Happy anniversary, mahal na mahal kita"
I closed my eyes as I make my wish. "Don't take her away from me. She's my home, my other half, she's my happiness. Babalik ako, at sa pagbalik ko papakasalan ko si Luna."
I promised to cook for her kaya naman nag luto ako ng sinigang. I examined her reactions, and I instantly felt joy when she liked the sinigang that I cooked for her.
We were sitting at the couch, lounging. I am planning on giving her my gift right now. I hope she'll love it. I bought her a promise ring earlier noong nag lunch ako kasama ang mga kaibigan ko.
It was a dainty gold knot ring with small diamonds on it. I am planning on giving this ring to her as a promise na kapag bumalik ako dito sa Pilipinas ay pakakasalan ko sya.
She gave me a box, I asked her if I can open it but she said na I should open it when I'm in Australia. Nag wonder talaga ako kung ano ang laman ng box na iyon, pero hinayaan ko nalang.
Okay, your turn. Close your eyes." I said. she closed her eyes. "Open." I said as I opened the velvet box. My heart softened when I saw a tear escaped from her eye.
"It's a promise ring. I promise to marry you pag balik ko dito." I said as I inserted the ring on her finger. I immediately embraced her as he cried so hard. It breaks my heart seeing my princess cry.
Parang gumuho ang mundo ko sa salitang binitawan ni Luna.
"It's time for us to let go Solasta."
Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nangyayari, what does she mean? I'm so confused. My thoughts are all over the place.
"I'm sorry, I'm breaking up with you."
Parang napakadali lang sa kanya na tapusin itong relasyon namin? Bakit? Bakit nangyayari 'to?
"No...L-luna, P-please.....don't do this to me." I tried so hard to speak, hindi ako makapag-salita ng maayos kakaiyak. I tried to pull her into a hug pero kumawala sya.
"I love you so much, so I'm letting you go. Huwag na natin ipilit yung relationship natin Sol. Mapapagod lang tayo pareho." She said as she cried harder.
"That's bullshit!" I said as I punched the wall. That's bullshit! Hindi pa namin nasusubukan ay sumuko na agad sya. Hindi manlang binigyan ng chance?
"Goodbye, I love you." She said as she ran away. Leaving me here, helpless and broken.
She's gone, the love of my life is gone. I continued crying until there's no tears left. I have a few hours left before my flight to Australia, so I decided to write her a letter.
"Shit." I said as I crumpled another piece of paper. Hindi ko matapos tapos itong sinusulat ko dahil laging nababasa ng luha. I took deep breaths to calm myself as I started to write again.
"Bro, ingat ka doon ha." Isaac said as he hugged me. Hinatid nya ako dito sa airport, hindi na sumama ang iba dahil baka hindi lang daw nila ako paalisin. I hugged him one last time bago ako pumasok sa airport.
I slept the whole flight because I'm tired for crying too much. Pag dating ko doon ay sinundo ako ng isa sa mga empleyado namin. Hinatid nya ako hanggang sa bahay na tutuluyan ko.
"Let's try to start a new life huh?" I said as I inhaled a deep breath. I started unpacking my stuff. Noong patapos na ako ay nakita ko yung box na bigay ni Luna. I sighed as I placed it on my bedside table. Nag pahinga ako saglit, I stared at the box while debating wheter I should open it or not.
"Bahala na." I said as I reached for the box and sat at the floor, resting my back on the bed. A tear escaped from my eye when I saw what's inside the box. It was a photobook. A collection of all of our moments together. Dahan-dahan kong inililipat ang mga pahina noong photobook, reminiscing all of our moments. Nakarating ako sa dulo at may letter na nakalagay doon. Binasa ko iyon at hindi ko na napigilan ang pagbagsak ng mga luha ko.

Umpisa palang alam ko nang kailangan nating mag hiwalay. Hindi ko din maintindihan bakit ganito parin kabigat. Mahal na mahal kita, kaya kita pinakawalan. Ayokong mahirapan tayo pareho kaya ko ito ginawa. Hate me all you want, I deserve it.
Our relationship is like an eclipse. It ended quickly but it will be engraved in our hearts forever.

Patuloy parin ako sa pag-iyak habang kinukuha ang flashdrive sa loob ng box. I also grabbed my laptop at sinaksak doon ang flashrive there was a folder titled 'sol at luna' iyon lang naman ang laman nung flashdrive so I clicked on it.
I was confused at the moment because it's a video, I took a deep breath as I pressed play. I wiped my tears as I saw Luna right there, with my guitar. She started strumming some chords on my guitar, lalong tumulo ang mga luha ko noong nag umpisa na sya kumanta.

You captured my heart the first time I saw you at the church, At that moment I prayed to God that I hope I would meet you again. And just like that, we met. So I didn't waste any time, nilapitan na agad kita. And as time passes, we offically got together.
We achieved many things together, we are each other's home, and comfort. We're each other's soulmates. It looks and feels like we are destined for eachother. Funny how we perfectly fit for eachother pero wala, you left me.
It feels like I lost my home, I lost my happiness, my light, and my other half. Luna, you left me broken. I'm so lost and I don't know what to do anymore.
