The small male shivered in his sleep. His eyebrows furrowed, a frown upon his face. Perhaps he was having a nightmare, a unexpected yet dreaded nightmare. All he envisioned was the broken look on a certain tall dark haired male. But the most shocking of all was that he felt the pain, a strike in his heart. He just wanted to awake from that awful nightmare. And just like that, in a snap of a finger, he awoke in cold sweat. Heavily breathing, he looked around and spotted that his window was open. The cold wind seeped in through the diaphanous curtains, causing his room to nearly freeze up.
He rubbed his eyes with his tiny fists, and slowly got out of his bed. His morning routine consisted of simply making his bed and hygiene. Finishing up in the bathroom he walked back to his room to check his phone. He opened the iMessage notification and read his hyungs text, instantly reminded of the incident. With his heart pounding, he replied.

Taehyung was seated on his bed, his mind always going back to the ravenette. His head soon began to hurt, so he decided to grab a glass of water. He put in extra ice to try and 'cool' himself down. He took a sip and instantly felt relaxed as the cold liquid ran down his throat.
It was a Saturday morning, and he had no plans besides the project with Jungkook, but he didn't think they would meet after the incident at school. So in the end he had a completely free schedule. His parents were at work and his little brother was still in bed, so he stayed in his living room and quietly watched the TV. Deciding on a classic cartoon he got comfortable and waited for his brother to wake up.
Time had went by, well only thirty minutes, and pretty soon Taehyungs brother had woken up. The five year old boy walked down from his bedroom in his pajamas greeting his older brother.
"Good morning tae! What's for breakfast?" The little boy asked.
"Well what do wanna eat junnie?" The elder asked.
The small boy put a finger to his chin, in deep thought. He smiled at the elder an answered, "Can we have chocolate chip muffins with milk?"
The elder smiled at his brother and nodded. Yeonjun jumped up excitedly and lead his brother towards the kitchen. Taehyung reached above into one of the cabinets and pulled out a sealed plate of muffins. He placed it on the kitchen island and went to grab the milk and cups. He set two glass cups on the island and began to serve both him and his brother a even amount of milk. Yeonjun took a sip from his cup and began to munch on his muffin.
"When is the angel coming back?" Yeonjun questioned swinging his feet back and forth.
"What angel?" The elder looked at his brother, confused.
"The boy that came last time! The one with the fluffy black hair!" His brother exclaimed.
"Oh, his name is Jungkook, junnie" He gave the small boy a dejected smile.
"Kookie! When is he coming back? I want to play with him again!" The younger boy announced excitedly.
The elder wasn't sure in how to answer his little brother. How was he going to tell him that the 'angel' was mostly likely not going over anytime soon.
"I'm not sure junnie," the elder gave him a small smile, continuing to eat his muffin.
"Can you call him? Pretty please?" The young boy gave his brother pleading eyes, begging to talk to the 'angel'.
"Maybe another time junnie," Taehyung sighed, gulping down the rest of his milk.
The younger boy only pouted as he watched his older brother walk away.

The ravenette looked away from his window and let let out a sigh. He took a sip from his mug, savoring the pleasant chamomile tea he had made earlier. He tried to repose on the comfort of his bed and take a nap, but his body simply didn't allow. He needed a nap to clear his mind.
He fell back onto his bed and groaned. Giving it one last try he slowly closed his eyes. He tried to fall deep in slumber, hoping to finally snooze. His prayers were finally answered, for he had fallen asleep in only five minutes. Just as fast as he closed his eyes, he was awakened. He felt someone shake him awake, calling his name repeatedly. He fluttered his eyes open and looked to the side.
"Hyung? What are you doing here?" He mumbled.
"I texted you ten minutes ago that I would come over, now get up," the older male whined pushing Jungkook lightly.
The younger male complied and got up. The two walked towards the small living room and settled on the couch.
"What's up with you?" Jimin turned towards the younger.
Jungkook only looked down at his lap and bit his top lip.
"You know how you and Jin found your soulmates?" He started finally glancing up at the older male.
The older male only nodded with a puzzled expression on his face.
"Well, I found mine. And it ended up being someone so unexpected," Jungkook pouted.
Jimin only stared at the ravenette, his eyes widened at the mention of his friend finding his soulmate.
"Well who is it?" He asked, sliding closer towards the younger.
Jungkook fidgeted in his seat before speaking, "Kim Taehyung."
The other male was left speechless. He scooted even closer towards the younger male and held his hand. He looked into his eyes and spoke, "What are you feeling?"
Jungkook opened his mouth but nothing came out. He was unsure of exactly what he was feeling. He felt as if those feelings were insular and would never truly find out what he felt.
"My feelings are frivolous, it doesn't matter what I feel. All I know is that I can never face him again," Jungkook let out.
The two males sat in silence, Jimin didn't know how to respond to what the younger had said and wasn't sure he could say the right thing. After the moment of silence, the younger tried to change the topic and successfully, the two then moved on to watch some movies and enjoyed each other's company. Jimin later left in the afternoon, leaving Jungkook alone with his convoluting thoughts. For the rest of the day he did nothing but clean, even though he had no energy to do so.

Night had fallen, and stars were laid out on the night sky surrounding the glowing crescent moon, adorning the dark canvas that is the sky.
The dark haired male stood on the balcony of his room and stared up at the beautiful display of art.
The ravenette stood by his window, admiring the same display of art.
The night sky.
They stared up at the stars not failing to notice how the stars seemed to be austere and less bright. The longer they stared the more they felt anguish course through them.
Tears fell from the ravenettes eyes, ultimately splattering on the wooded floor, the sadness they carried was then formed into a tiny puddle.
The dark haired male felt his heart give in to that anguish and although he didn't have tears falling from his eyes, he still felt as if he was crying a river himself.
Both males made their way to their own beds, and laid there. They stared at their ceilings, there wasn't any apathy this time. They could feel the others true emotion.
How could they avoid it?
