The two teenagers were now almost at the butterfly estate "so Kanao you doing my chores now or?" Kanao just replied to the male with a sigh. It went quite for a bit "fine..." Kanao finally spoke with pink tinted cheeks "see that wasn't so ha-!!" The male was cut off by kanao punching his stomach "no more out of you (Y/N)" she spoke then went silent again "you've been around Ichirou and Shinobu-Chan too much" the male struggled to say clutching his stomach. Kanao stayed quite for the rest of their walk back and when they reached the butterfly estate they saw Ichirou and Shinobu sitting out the front "Ichirou!" The brown haired male shouted. This caught the attention of the two demon slayers "Moshi Moshi (Y/N)-San and kanao-Chan" Shinobu said "my little apprentices are still alive!" Ichirou shouted then ran to the pair of teenagers and hugged them "he was worrying about you two all the time" Shinobu said and walked over to the trio. Then a grin made its way onto Ichirou's face "so did you two get competitive?" He asked which made the pair glare at each other which caused Ichirou to laugh "you two remind me of me and Shinobu when we were your age" he chuckled "Ara Ara you speaking like that makes us seem old Ichirou" Shinobu said with her usual smile on her face "ha maybe we are getting to that age Shino-!" Ichirou was now crouching on the ground "ow! What was that for!?" He shouted
"oh nothing" Shinobu teased "come in you two" she quickly said walking into the butter estate. The pair looked at Ichirou and sighed then helped him up and walked into the butterfly estate "so how many of you guys passed?" Shinobu asked. (Y/N) then started to think about how many people survived final selection "I'd say five including me and kanao" the young male answered "was Sanemi's brother one of them?" Ichirou asked "who?" (Y/N) asked confused "he's got a mowhawk type of haircut, looks angry like sanemi" Ichirou explained "oh that dude yeah he passed" Ichirou sighed "that wasn't not expected coming from Sanemi's brother" Shinobu just nodded at what the older male said "oh that's means you two will be getting your nichirin blades" Ichirou quickly said then ran off. The older male came back holding two nichirin swords in their sheaths.
"Whoa" was all (Y/N) could respond with as it was his first time seeing both Ichirou and Shinobu's nichirin blades "you will be getting these around tomorrow" was what Ichirou responded with "huh how do you know?" (Y/N) questioned "I don't it's just a gut feeling" he said. The older male than saw kanao being quite as usual "hey kanao, kanae would be proud of your progress" he said with a saddened tone. The group than went silent for a little bit then Ichirou spoke up "okay so (Y/N) your nichirin blade will change color depending on you" Ichirou informed "oh that's what he was on about" (Y/N) thought then remembered when Sanemi's brother demanded for a "color changing sword". The young male then grabbed the nichirin blade with he white sheath "someone likes my nichirin more than yours Shinobu" Ichirou teased "ichirou do want to get kicked out?" Shinobu said with a smile but that dark aura she has was there. Ichirou thought he would continue this "if you do I'll just go to Mitsuri, she'd surely like my company" he spoke "oh really?" Shinobu said both the teenagers then told the young adults to calm down.

It had now been months since final selection and currently (Y/N) waiting outside of the ubuyashiki estate "alright (Y/N) were going to get a boy by the name of Tanjiro kamado who is a demon slayer and has supposedly been traveling around with a demon" Ichirou described "he has to be brought back alive no harm at all alright?" Ichirou said firmly "yep and does the demon live?" (Y/N) asked "yes she is can't be hurt either" Ichirou informed "Tanjiro has a checkered haori and hanafuda earrings" Ichirou said "alright!" (Y/N) said "follow me!" Ichirou said and dashed away with the younger male following shortly behind.

The two males had reached Natagumo mountain "huh I always knew this place was sketchy" (Y/N) said looking at all the dead demon slayers. (Y/N) went to speak then Ichirou held his hand up and went quite paying attention to sounds since he had very good hearing "demon this way" Ichirou said pointing to the right and went in that direction "wait up!" (Y/N) said then followed Ichirou. The two then saw a demon slayer with a boar mask being attacked by a man spider thing... "Let's help him out" Ichirou said unsheathing his Nichirin blade with (Y/N) doing the same shortly after

"Breath of ice/Breath of the void!" They both said with "Eleveth form: Diving ice dragon!" Ichirou then spun down attacking the demon getting its arm "first form: REALITY EXPLUSION!" (Y/N) said dashing to the demon cutting it in half then it instantly disappeared. The hashira and his tsuguko sheathed their swords then looked at the demon slayer "you ok?" Ichirou asked "the demon slayer said nothing and everything went silent "fight me!" The male shouted. Ichirou sighed then found a rope

Then quickly tied the male to the tree and left with (Y/N) entering the forest again "hm I wonder were Shinobu and gi- you know what nevermind" Ichirou said looking down from a tree seeing the two hashira with giyuu protecting a demon slayer with hanafuda earrings "that's him" Ichirou said then dropped down "hey guys!" He said cheerfully "Ichirou why are you here?" Shinobu asked "to protect this one and that demon" He then looked at (Y/N) and nodded to take him "alright come on man let's go" (Y/N) said helping up the male "(Y/N)-San don't you dare run with that boy" Shinobu said but (Y/N) did anyway. The boy then thanked (Y/N) "your Tanjiro right?" (Y/N) asked "yep that's me!" He said "alright and that demon?" "Oh this is Nezuko" Tanjiro said. Meanwhile with Ichirou and giyu, Shinobu looked at the other two hashira "well this is different" Shinobu said "isn't that against the rules? Protecting a demon?" Shinobu said "just following orders" Ichirou said. The area went silent until Shinobu spoke up "well see you two later I need to get that demon" shinobu said then ran disappeared. The males turned around to see the Shinobu jumping from tree to tree. Giyu ran on the ground and Ichirou jumped from tree to tree "is that how your gonna catch up?" Shinobu said doing flips and spinning around before jumping above the trees "I got it giyuu" Ichirou said and jumped to Shinobu and grabbed her. "Ichirou let me go!" Shinobu said with her cheerful smile while popping veins "Sorry Shinobu but I can't do that Ubayshiki's orders" the male said while carrying Shinobu over his shoulder. Shinobu struggled to get out then eventually gave up and slouched "Your no fun Ichirou" Shinobu pouted "And your childish Shinobu" Ichirou retorted "oh wait Giyuu can you look for kanao" Ichirou asked, the other male nodded and ran off. (Y/N), Tanjiro and Nezuko we're running through the forest until he saw a shadow on the ground getting bigger and bigger "Duck!" He shouted at the other two and unsheathed his blade to block only to see kanao. Kanao swung her nichirin blade down but was block by (Y/N)'s blade "you two r-!" Before
(Y/N) could finish he was knocked out by the female. Tanjiro tried to defend the demon but just like the other male he was knocked out by the female.......

(Y/N) only saw black then struggled to open his eyes to see he was at Ubuyashiki's estate with the hashira "there he is" Uzui said "we were wondering when you were going to wake up" Mitsuri said with a blush on her face as usual "Ichirou wake him up" Obanai said to the white haired male "fine" the male responded then lightly smacked the other male on the ground which was Tanjiro. The younger male slowly woke up and saw Ichirou staring at him "yo!" Ichirou said getting Tanjiro to quickly get up. The younger male quickly looked around as Ichirou crouched down. Tanjiro looked ahead of him and saw the 10 hashira and (Y/N) "who are-!" then one of the helpers for the butterfly estate Goto slapped the teens head to the ground and spoke up "You're in the presence of the hashira!" Goto said. All the hashira said their own opinions on the teenager all but Ichirou and giyuu "well do you have anything to say Ichirou?" Gyomei asked "no.." Ichirou said and looked at the younger teen and saw a flash of a younger version of himself . Just then the doors sanemi finally spoke up "looking for this" he said holding the box that Tanjiro had and stabbed it and a spray of blood came from the box. Tanjiro quickly got up and headbutt sanemi cause the pair to drop to the ground this caused the ice pillar to hold back a laughter. Sanemi looked up "what are you laughing at huh?" He asked "something dumb" Ichirou said "I bet that's what your parents thought of you and your siblings that's why they left" sanemi snapped back "Shinazugawa-San! Ichirou!" Shinobu said trying to calm the pair down. This infuriated the ice pillar who quickly got up and walked over to the wind pillar only to be held back by Rengoku and Giyuu "Sensei calm down" (Y/N) said to his mentor "come on sanemi say it to my face!" Ichirou shouted. Just then the doors to the Ubuyashiki estate opened and Ubuyashiki and His two daughters came out. Everyone of the hashira's bowed for the leader of the demon slayer corps well except for Tanjiro sanemi had to force his head down "the letter" Ubuyashiki said to one of his daughters who ended up reading it out to the hashira. After they had finished reading it and Ubuyashiki said what would if things went south he spoke up about a fact on Tanjiro "Tanjiro here has met Muzan" the hashira were speechless and flooded the poor teen with questions such as "what did he look like" "where is hideout" and many more some even argued about who Tanjiro would answer first. Tanjiro said nothing then sanemi spoke up "let me test this demon" he said a grabbed the box "sorry Sensei" he said and cut himself. Sanemi started to squeeze his hand then kicked the lid open and then the small female demon came out with saliva dripping from her mouth. (Y/N) watched as everything happened and looked at Tanjiro who was begging his sister not to try get some of Sanemi's blood. The teen then spoke to his mentor "shouldn't we step in" he asked "it's fine just trust that nezuko can pass this" Ichirou said and continued I watch the young female resist her urges for blood. The female then turned her head away then got back into her box a growled at sanemi which caused the wind hashira to become surprised that a demon resisted the urges to feed off his blood "see not all demons are bad" Ichirou spoke up
"Shush" (Y/N) said to make the older male to become silent so the master could continue is talk with the hashira.
