You woke up from your slumber with your puffy eyes, you stretched your arms out and got out of bed. You went inside the bathroom and took a shower, the water seems to have ease the pain a bit. You got out of the the shower until your phone suddenly rang. You went to your study table while drying your hair, you put it in speaker so you could stop the water dripping from your hair
"Hello, (l/n) (f/n) speaking who's this?" You answered
["(F/n)......"]
When you heard the voice, your heart started aching
"Oh it's you, do you need something, Kageyama?"
Kageyama flinched when you called him by his last name, you would usually call him Tobio but now, it was different
["I need you.... Can we talk?"]
"I think we should. Where do you want to meet?"
["Meet me at the cafe near the mall at 8"]
"Ok sure. Bye"
["Bye... Love you"]
"Yeah..."
You ended the call and went downstairs to eat breakfast. When you reached downstairs, you could see Howl eating breakfast in the table, alone. So you decided to join him so he wouldn't feel lonely. When you sat right in front of him, he stopped eating and looked at you which you immediately smiled
"Where's Mom and Dad?" You asked while helping yourself with some eggs and bacon
"They had to leave early today. There was an emergency meeting" he replied and continued eating
"Hey Howl, can you drop me off later at a cafe near the mall?" You said
"Sure thing" he replied
"Thanks..." You said and continued eating
Howl already knew the reason why about your leave but he didn't bother asking since it was your business not his. After eating, he offered to wash the dishes so that you could get ready but you just gave him a mischievous smile and went to the living room and watched a movie. Time passed in an instant, it was almost 8 so you decided to just get out of the comfy couch and get ready
You went upstairs to get ready, you went to your closet to find a perfect outfit to wear. You chose a loose fitting, comfortable t-shirt. Pairing it with black jeans which hugged your figure so you still look sexy as well as cute. You finish the look to perfection with white Converse or trainers for a cool and casual style.
You twisted the doorknob of your room and went downstairs. You went to the living room to call Howl and you weren't wrong, he was there. Watching something about animals, you tapped his shoulder which he immediately turned to you
"Let's go" you said
"Oh yeah... Wait lemme get the keys" he said as he turned the TV off
He went to the divider and got his keys, he neared you and hanged his arm around your neck making you suffer from his weight
"You're heavy!!!" You complained which made him laugh
"Make the right choice, sis" he said before letting you go and went on ahead
"I know that and I think I already have....and I hope it'll work out" you mumbled

You entered the cafe then immediately scanned the place and there you saw your blueberry king, sitting in a table for two near the glass window. You went to his direction and tapped his shoulder making him face you and stood up. You gestured him to sit back down and went to the empty seat, he happily gestured you to the beverage infront you which you just nodded, still wearing a blank expression
"I'm so gla-" you cut him off
"I'm gonna be straight with you, let's break up. I getting tired, Kageyama. I don't even know if this relationship would even work anymore so it's better if we break up" you said then looked at him
"So w-" you were cut off
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. Sorry for everything I said yesterday. I'm truly sorry, My Queen. Give me the cold treatment but please don't do this to me. Please...." he said while holding your hand and placing it on his forehead
"I'm already so tired.... I can-" you were cut off when you met his eyes
You felt your heart sunk when you saw tears in his eyes. You haven't seen Kageyama cry nor beg for your forgiveness, you felt a sting of pain in your heart when you met his eyes. You couldn't handle the sight of those people you have loved so dearly and cared for deeply cry or get hurt. It was too much.....
You caressed his cheek making him looked at you, you gave him a gentle smile making his tears stream down his face. You retreated your hand from his grip and placed it on his other cheek. You made him looked at you and used your thumbs to wipe his tears.
"Please.... Just give me one more chance and I'll make it up to you" he exclaimed
You can't help but feel guilty so you made a decision that you're not supposed to make. You just hoped that maybe it'll work out this time
"Alright but this will be your last chance, ok?" You softly said which he nodded aggressively
"So don't mess this up..... because I'm not gonna be here forever and I hope it'll work out....." you mumbled but he didn't hear anything
He happily looked at you and held your other hand that was on his cheek.
"I love you so much, My Queen..." He said
"Yeah...Love you too" You smiled

School was out so you, Rizumu and Izumi decided to go have fun together since you've been busy these past few days. You've already told them about you and Kageyama just a day ago, a week had already passed since the day you and Kageyama talked with each other at the cafe. After that talk, the two of you went on a date together, he wanted to make it up to you so you had no choice but to just go with it.
As days and weeks would pass, it saddens you more and more since it would only mean that you'll be leaving very soon. That's why Rizumu and Izumi offered you to hang out with them for the meantime, they wanted to spend time with you while you still haven't left the country yet.
As usual, the three of you went to the mall. Rizumu quickly pulled the two of you to the arcade which the three of you made a bet. The lowest number of tickets will be treating the winners and the winners gets to decide what they want.
The three of you were having so much fun but the fun came to an end when it was almost time to go home, it was kinda sad especially for Izumi since she lost the bet. She had no choice but to treat both you and Rizumu, the two of you quickly pulled Izumi to a nearby ice cream shop. Rizumu asked for a chocolate flavored ice cream while you asked for a (f/f) ice cream, Izumi went to the counter to order while you and Rizumu was left in the table.
"So.... You're leaving us soon..." Rizumu said out of the blue
"Aww... Does Rizumu-chan want (f/n)-chan to stay?" You said in a cute child's voice
"As if (f/n)..." She rolled her eyes
"My heart... How could you?" You held you chest, acting like you were hurt making Rizumu chuckle
"But hey... Take care of yourself, ok?" Rizumu said
"Likewise...." You smiled
Rizumu gave you a small smile and looked at the people walking around outside but her eyes immediately widen when she saw someone familiar. You noticed her reaction and you couldn't help but follow her gaze and there you saw your blueberry king, smiling with another girl by his side.
' What the hell, Tobio? ' you thought
Rizumu quickly looked at you which made her eyes widen more, she quickly held your face and forced you to face her.
"You didn't see anything, right?" She asked
"See what, Rizumu-chan?" You lied
You were good at hiding your feeling, suppressing your emotions and lying about being ok even though you're not. But there's only one person that can notice it immediately and that person is your brother, Howl. He could easily see through you, he could easily identify the truth.
Rizumu sighed in relief and shook her head while you on the other hand could feel your heart slowly getting shattered again. You knew, you knew it was lie, he even promised you that he would stay away from Aimu.
- flashback -
" If that's what you want then I will do it. I'll stay away from Aimu if that'll make you feel better " he said while holding your hand
" What's your relationship with here anyway? " You asked
" She's just a friend of mine, I think? Since our parents are close. " he answered which you nodded
" If she's a friend then you shouldn't avoid her. It'll hurt her " you said
" But you're far more important, I'll do anything for you. I promise " he replied which you responded with a smile
- end of flashback -
' I guess promises really are meant to be broken ' you thought
Izumi came back with a tray containing three big cups of ice cream, she placed the tray down which Rizumu immediately took hers. You took yours and started eating while Izumi did the same, the three of you were starting a conversation when someone interrupted
"(F/n)?" Kageyama called making you look at his direction
"Oh hey, love and.....Aimu was it?" You trailed off while looking at the girl beside him
"Yep! I'm Chisaka Aimu. Nice to meet you!" she beamed
"Mhmm...."
"Aren't you the girl I saw when I went to Kageyama's house?" Rizumu asked while pointing the plastic spoon at Aimu
"Yep, that was me. I went to his house at that time since I left something that belongs to my mom" she chirped
"Are yo-" Izumi was cut off
"Wait... Wait... Are you Amamiya Rizumu? One of the best middle blockers in Japan?" She said as she held Rizumu's hand
Rizumu's eyes immediately twinkled in delight but it wasn't real at all while you and Izumi just exchanged a few glances
"Yes I am," Rizumu proudly said which Aimu squealed then looked at Izumi
"And you must be, Maaya Izumi! Also one of the best setters here in Japan!" Aimu exclaimed and went to Izumi's side
"I..uhm...I think so..yeah" she replied and gave you and Rizumu an embarrassed yet annoyed glance
You just shrugged your shoulders at her and continued eating your ice cream until Aimu squealed when her eyes landed on you. Kageyama chuckled softly when he saw you flinch at Aimu's squeal which you answered with a nervous smile
"And you!" She said and pointed at you "You must be (l/n) (y/n), one of the top 5 best spikers in the country!"
You looked at the people around you and your guess was as good as it was, people were staring at you while the others were whispering
"Damnit...." You facepalmed yourself
"Let's talk elsewhere, shall we?" Izumi said as she stood up with her bag on her shoulder and her ice cream in her hand
You and Rizumu nodded and did the same thing. You walked out of the ice cream shop with Kageyama by your side while Aimu was on Rizumu's side, asking her some questions which Rizumu would gladly answer her. You sighed softly as you think of your departure, Kageyama took noticed of your sighing state which he slowly placed his arm around your shoulder causing you to look at him
"Something wrong?" He asked
"It's nothing..." You smiled "I'm just... Tired"
He nodded and planted a kiss on your temple as a sign of comfort to you. You reached the garden part of the mall where you can talk and hang out for a bit. You sat down on the first bench you saw together with the others, Kageyama sat next to you which you immediately placed your head on his shoulder making him blush and looked away
"Nee (l/n)-san..." Aimu called which you hummed as an answer
"I have a favor to ask. The three of you... Hehehe" she started
"What is it, Chisaka-san?" Izumi asked while eating her ice cream
"I wanted to ask the three of you out like a girl's day out hehehe I've always wanted to have some quality time together with my favorite players" Aimu said while looking down
The three of you were exchanging glances as if you were reading each other's answers. Izumi and Rizumu nodded making you do the same
"We would love to, Chisaka-san!" You smiled but you weren't really happy
"Really?! OMG! Thank you so much! I'll see you guys tomorrow then!" She exclaimed
"Sure thing but at what time and where should we meet you?" Rizumu asked
"Hmm.... I was planning on bringing you guys to an amusement park so how about we meet here so that we can go there together. And the time, how about 8?" she answered
"It's settled then" You exclaimed making Aimu squeal in delight

You went home together with Rizumu and Izumi to your dormitory since you could only go home on weekends but on the way, you were spacing out. This made Rizumu and Izumi worry so they decided to talk to you about it
"(F/n), something bothering you?" Rizumu asked snapping you back to reality
"Uh wah? Oh yeah" you answered making them sigh
"Does he already know about your departure?" Izumi asked but you just stayed quiet
"I guess I was right then..." Izumi said
"When are you gonna tell him, (f/n)?" Rizumu asked with a worried expression
"I'm not going to...." You mumbled
"If you're not going to tell him then have you made up your mind about either breaking up with him or telling him that you'll be gone for a few years?" Izumi asked
"I still need an answer from him.... I need to know what really matters to him nowadays because I can sense that he's more focus on volleyball so I need some kind of confirmation" You sighed
"Alright but whatever happens, we'll support you.." Rizumu smiled
"Thanks...." You smiled making them smile back
