SHREYA'S POV
Finally, that devil gave me some time to eat.
I was looking at the menu to order something when someone tapped on my shoulder. And it was none other than the traitor himself - Rahul.
"Hey beautiful" he smiled
"Bye handsome" I turned around
"Wait, what? What happened?" He asked
"Are you asking me what happened? Where were you in the morning? You yourself told me that you will be there at the gate and you will guide me, but you were nowhere to find". I huffed
"Trust me Shreya, I waited for you. But because it was getting late I went back to work because my HR head is very, very strict and punctual. I am really very sorry" He said holding his ears like a cute little child and everyone around were looking at us.
"Ok, you will be forgiven only if you buy me something to eat". I said while laughing
"What? What do you mean? This is your turn to give me a party. After all, you have got such a high position" he said
High position my foot
"Either you are buying me this lunch or I am not going to forgive you. The choice is yours" I said while leaving and sat on a chair.
After few minutes he came with a tray full of food in his hand. I took the tray from his hand and started eating.
"Hey, at least let me sit"
"I am hungry" I said and filled my mouth with food
"So, how was your day?" He asked and took one French fries from the tray
"why do you want to spoil my mood? Am I not looking good while smiling?" I asked
"You look 100 times prettier when you smile" he said this so lovingly while looking into my eyes.
I immediately looked down to ignore him.
"Wait a minute I want to ask you a question. Can you see the future?" He asked with so much excitement.
"No, why?"
"Do you remember what did you said when I told you the news of my promotion?"
I was looking at him dumbfounded and he continued.
"You said that don't worry I will be there very soon. And look you are here within 2 weeks. I mean how?"
"Yes, I am an antaryami (omniscient). Poocho tumhe kya jaan na hai vats? ( Ask what do you want to know child)?" I said while showing him my palm.
"Hmm....so I want to know that will I get a chance to be with the girl sitting in front of me?" He asked while laughing and in a teasing tone
"Oh come on Rahul, when will you stop teasing me?"
"I guess, never. And why should I when I am having a girl-friend like you who is worth everything".
And again he was going on a different track. I am not able to completely understand his feelings towards me. Did he really feel for me or he does this only for fun.
I felt something soft on my thigh. I looked down and there was a small hand resting there. I turned my head to look at the owner of the hand. There was a little munchkin of around 2 years I guess, standing there asking for food. Awww he is so cute. But whose baby is this? I don't think babies are allowed here.
"Sissy" he said with his soft voice and tapped my thigh.
I think he wants some food. I settled him on my lap and gave him a small pizza piece. He put his tongue out after eating that. I think it is spicy for him. I gave him water and one toffee which I always carry in my bag. He put his empty hand in front of me so I gave him one more and he kissed me. Oh God, I am already loving this munchkin.
"Hey, naughty boy, when did you came here. I told you not to leave my side".
I think he is his father. They are like a photocopy of each other. His father is so so handsome. Any girl can fall for him. Oh my God, his smile.
Hey Shreya, what are you doing ? control yourself. He is married for God's sake. I mentally scolded myself
I stood up and gave him his child.
"Sorry for the inconvenience" he said apologetically
"Oh no, it is completely fine. He is damn cute". I said and that munchkin smiled and showed his hand full of toffee to his father.
"Are you newly hired? Because I haven't seen you around anytime before". He asked
"Yes"
"Can I know your name and your department?" He asked curiously
"Umm, My name is Shreya Gupta and I am hired as Personal assistant of Mr. Atharva Singhania".
"Oh really? How dumb I am. I should have guessed it after looking at you. Nevertheless, how is everything going?"
What should I reply to him that I am just hating this place? But I can't do that because I don't know who is he. He can be a detective too who goes around asking about what the employees think about their boss. You never know.
"Ok, your silence is telling me everything". He said
"No nothing like that everything is fine"
"Nothing like what. I didn't tell you what I am thinking". He started laughing
Sorry, but I didn't get his joke. I was just looking at his handsome face
"Leave it. There is no need to tell me about that grumpy man. I know how he treats people. All the best for your future. See you soon". He left with a smile on his face.
"Who is he?" I turned around to look at nobody
Where does Rahul go now? Is he even alive? If he is then he is definitely going to die by my bare hands.
"Now move fast Shreya lunchtime is over". He came from behind
"Where were you?" I asked angrily
"I went to wash my hands. Now we are getting late. Let's go" he said while walking towards the exit of the cafeteria.
"But who was he? Do you know him?"
"I too don't know very much about him but he is the CEO's best friend".
What? How is this possible? How that high tempered, self-centered, chauvinistic, dominating man can have such a charming and cool best friend.
"Now move fast Shreya I don't want that we get late". He said
With that, I moved to find Mrs. Verma who is going to tell me what exactly I am going to do here.

Atharva's POV
I was working when suddenly someone burst into my cabin without even knocking. I was about to scream when I heard the voice of that thing which I don't like.
"Athu, Athu"
He came and started to play with my things. Oh God,I don't like kids and especially him. He calls me Athu.
"Why did you bring him here Prem. You know I don't like him here".
"You are a monster. You don't like my boy even at home. And look how much my baby loves you. He was crying just to meet you. That's why I brought him here" he said dramatically
"Oh please prem, you know that he comes here just to disturb me and destroy all my things".
Thuddd....I looked around and he was there smiling sheepishly while throwing all my pens and papers around. He loves to do that and I just hate him.
"So what he is a kid. He loves you and you don't play with him so he plays with your things. It is as simple as that". He said shrugging.
"Keep your boy in your control. He is extra naughty".
"Haha...No. He is just smarter than you. That's why you are jealous of him". He said while laughing
"Oh please, prem don't waste my time. Just leave and enjoy your holidays with your family. All the workload is on me. So please don't disturb me. Go and produce more kids"
"How rude. I wish you get married soon and you have 6-7 very very naughty children. Who keep on eating your ears all day and throws you and your everything out. Huh" he said this like a child
"What rubbish Prem. You know I don't believe in marriage. I can't live with a girl for long and I hate kids"
Thudd...that kid dropped all my files on the floor
"You definitely will. And what do you think if I am not here I do not know what is going on here. This is my office too. After all, I am the owner of 25% of the business😕". Prem distracted my mind
"What?"
"What what? Ok tell me who is the girl that you have recently hired"
"Who?" I pretended to work
"You know you are a really bad actor. Don't be so innocent which you are definitely not. And just tell me." He asked very curiously
Thudd.....this time he himself fell. Very good.
"What will you take to leave my office along with your little packet"
"Questions to my all answers" he said sitting more comfortably
"What?"
"I mean answers to my all questions" he said while showing his teeth.
"What do you want to know?" I was getting irritated with these two children's presence.
"Everything about that cute little girl. Who is so adorable that anyone can fall for her charms and can get attracted to those magnetic eyes" He said dreamingly and this boiled my blood
"How can you say this for a girl. You are married and you have a kid too".
"So what I am not a Saint. If I am getting a chance to flirt with a hot girl than why shouldn't I? And when she liked me too". He said all happy and cool.
"What do you mean by she liked you?"
"Jali na teri jali na?" ( are you jealous ?)
"Me? No I am not jealous and what is this language?"
"Yes, you are jealous. I know What have you done to bring her here. None other than Mr. Singhania went to his branch just for a survey. Isn't it sound weird?"
"Just shut up Prem".
"No I wouldn't. I know you like her. Kahin pyar na ho jae, kahin pyar na ho jae (you might fall in love)" He started to sing
"Are you mad? and just stop singing your nonsense song"
"No, I am not but soon you are going to be mad in the love of that girl. Finally, I am going to have my bhabhi (sister-in-law). Yippee" He said very happily
"Shutup Prem and just leave" I screamed with all my strength.
The kid started to cry after hearing my anger filled voice.
He took him in his arms and patted him.
"You really are a beast. And you don't deserve that sweet angel".
Thudd.......this time the sound was created by a 30-year-old kid by closing my office door angrily and leaving me finally alone.
I do not know that I like her or not. The thing I know is that right now I just want her. And I will do everything to get her in my arms.
