"Thank you very much for your teaching, Master Sheng," Ye Jiao said from the bottom of her heart.
Sheng Ming nodded his head. "Do you still think that talent is everything now?"
"No, I don't. I know now that there are a lot of other important things," Ye Jiao answered immediately.
"One more thing. Do you know what my talent is?"
"Master Sheng? Is it Blue?"
"It's green," Sheng Ming answered. "Or in other words, my talent is just C."
Ye Jiao's jaw opened wide at the answer this man gave her. She thought that he must be at least blue talent because of how he managed to reach rank 4. There were a lot of people with blue talent that she knew in this city and most of them were extremely cocky. They seemed to hold the thought that they would be able to reach rank 4 without any problem in the future.
Sheng Ming smiled. "This might be harsh, but if I try to put it in comparison, I can compare myself with your father. Ye Xiao has purple color talent or A talent. He should have been able to reach rank 4 from years ago, but he didn't because his state of mind is not ready."
"I see."
"Don't be complacent because you have higher talent than other people," Sheng Ming patted the girl's head again. She looked so cute and innocent. "Stay low and grow little by little, brat. I hope that I can see you at the test in a few more years."

Ye Jiao felt that her mind had become clearer as she tried to see things from a different perspective. Talent was surely important because it determined the limit she could go in the future and the speed of her growth. However, talent alone was not enough.
They needed the resource, will and hard work to accompany it.
Only with these things together would they be able to grow better and reach the limit of their talent.
Sheng Ming opened the door and revealed Mu Hong behind it. The general looked at his old friend. "Do you have to set up a barrier? I can't listen to anything."
"It's not supposed to be something that you listen to," Sheng Ming replied candidly. He put his hands on the back of his head. "Let's go and eat, it's already passed the time for lunch."

They called Mu Xin and Wang Jun before having late lunch together. During the meal time, Sheng Ming also explained the academy regulation, which was the fact that Wang Jun wouldn't be able to return until he reached a certain rank. From the growth speed that he showed so far, it was apparent that he wouldn't be able to reach it in near future.
It would be quicker for Mu Xin to reach rank 3.
"Let's go to the training room," Mu Xin dragged the other two to the training room. Neither one of them voiced out their protest as they entered the door. Upon entering, Ye Jiao was astonished to find out that the place seemed to be filled with Eon Energy even more.
"Jun Ge, you have to reach rank 4 before I enter academy in the future," Mu Xin suddenly spoke up.
Wang Jun was stunned. "I'm afraid that I won't be able to fulfill that request, Miss Mu."
"Don't let me catch up with you too quickly. You have to grow faster and reach the sky, Jun Ge. I'll chase after you."
"I understand," Wang Jun smiled. "I'll do my best."
Mu Xin turned to look at Ye Jiao. "What's your plan from now on? If you want, you can stay in here while concealing your identity. My father will think of a new identity for you if you want."
"There's no need for that," Ye Jiao recalled her promise with Lu Wan. "I'll be staying in Lu Family Residence starting tomorrow."
"LU FAMILY RESIDENCE?" Wang Jun yelled in surprise. He didn't expect to hear those words coming from Ye Jiao. From all places, why would she choose that place in specific?
"I met with Young Master Lu Wan in the forest a few months ago. He helped me a bit and I promised that I'll stay in his residence as his servant," Ye Jiao explained. Even though they wouldn't be a genuine master and servant because they only stayed together in order to allow them to train together, Ye Jiao couldn't say that to anyone.
From outside, they have to be no different than an ordinary master and servant.
"There's no need for you to become a servant, you can..."
"Miss Mu," Wang Jun cut off Mu Xin's words. "If you owe a debt, you have to repay it, so I think that it's not weird for Ye Jiao to go there."
Mu Xin knew that, but she couldn't accept it because it was Lu Wan. In the capital city, this young man's name was famous as the greatest genius even better than Ye Xiao. No one could contend with him in terms of talent except a handful of people. But the worst of them all was the young man's attitude.
