"Warlock....spill it fast....why my brother is in this condition...?" asked Jace getting red.
"Jace...please...." Alec was about to start ...but..
"Alec...no....you are not going to save your warlock this time....just keep quiet" said Jace.
Alec was weak....he did not have energy to fight.... that too with Jace and that too when he was seriously angry....and a protective brother....
Alec became quiet.
"Magnus ..." said Jace.
Magnus looked sheepishly at Jace and said
"I am responsible for Alec's condition. "
Jace took a step towards Magnus.
"Listen to his full explanation ....Jace...." said Alec weakly from the bed.
Jace stopped in his way.
And looked eagerly at Magnus.
"It is Camille. She is stronger than before. My magic is not working on her. She took the advantage . She wanted to take the revenge on me for choosing Alec over her. She told me to end my marriage otherwise she would kill my Alexander. I got really scared for your brother. I thought that it was better to break his heart than to see him brutally tortured to death.I would not be able to stand that. So I ended my marriage with him telling somethings which I never meant.
I just could not think that Alexander would take such a drastic step of ending his life...
In place of saving my husband from Camille ...I myself was about to kill him." finished Magnus and his face was completely drenched in tears without him knowing.
Jace looked at Magnus. His anger was receding as he looked at the warlock . Magnus himself was so guilty about everything that happened.
Jace moved closer to Magnus. He put a hand on Magnus' shoulder. Alec was not expecting this much maturity from Jace . Rather he was preparing himself to be a refery in the fight between his husband and his parabati.
I am sparing you only because if I had killed you now..my poor big brother would commit a suicide again which I don't want especially when his High Warlock husband would not be here to save him.....so you got a mercy from me for this time . But if this thing happened ever again...Magnus I am telling you...your neck and my seraph blade would have an intense sex.
Alec started chukling.
"Shut up Alec...I am serious.." said Jace.
Alec swallowed his laughter inside his throat...Jace was really not in a good mood and Alec did not want to tease Jace more.
" Now ...what about this Camille bitch....How has she got more power?" asked Jace .
"I don't know actually....Its just somehow she could absorb strong magic...she absorbed my magic and remained unharmed..." said Magnus.
"Is she still a vampire?" asked Alec.
"Yes...I.guess so because when she came to my apartment she deliberately stood in the shade and was trying to protect herself from the sun." said Magnus thoughtfully.
"I think I have a plan...." said Alec.
Both Jace and Magnus looked at Alec on bed.

"Oh ...Miss Belcourt (Camille Belcourt)...please ...come in..what a delight to have you again...you actually made it on such a short notice ." said Alec getting a little up from his chair.
"Oh ...thank you ...Mr. Lightwood-Bane...I am glad to meet you too." said Camille in her polished tone.
"Please be seated Miss Belcourt....
Its my honour to receive you as you are the new head of the Vampire Clan." Said Alec gesturing at Camille to sit on the chair.
"And Miss Belcourt....its Lightwood...I am no more a Lightwood-Bane...." said Alec looking as sad as possible.
"Oh ..I am sorry ..I did not know..." said Camille trying to hide the smile that was forming at the corner of her lips.
"Its okay...Camille...oh I mean Miss Belcourt...." said Alec with a little sorry smile at the corner of his lips.
Camille was delighted.
"No...you don't have to be sorry ,Mr .Lightwood ...you can call me Camille...I would be glad." Said Camille.
Alec gave his most gorgeous smile.
" I would be privileged then...not many people are getting that opportunity I hope so..." said Alec now clearly trying to hit on Camille.
Camille smiled a little....
"I would love to make you the privileged one...if you were intending to ....Mr. Lightwood. " said Camille.
"Then I would be glad ...if you called me Alexander...." said Alec.
Both Jace and Magnus were in the verandah of Alec's office. Magnus clutched his fist at the conversation between his shadowhunter and his ex.
"Relax Magnus...Alec is just a good actor...he loves you and will always do...and you are alive and standing here beside me now only because Alec loves you..." said Jace in his most casual tone.
"Alexander...I would love to call you with that name...." said Camille delighted.
"You look really beautiful when you smile..."said Alec smiling.
Camille looked at Alec lovingly and said "Would like to go out with me...?"
Alec smiled and said "I was about to ask you the same."
Alec stood from his seat and strolled out from his chair...
Camille thought to stand up to. A shadouhunter was hitting on her. She wanted to impress him with the full view of her exposed legs.
Alec stopped in his way ..looking at Camille seductively.
Camille came out from the chair... a little near Alec.
Alec held a hand out . Camille took it .
Magnus put his back at the scene in the office. Though he knew it was all part of the plan yet he could not see his shadowhunter with anybody else.
Alec gradually pulled Camille towards him ...taking backward steps towards the veradah...
In her trance ...Camille did not see what was exactly happening.
Alec moved back and back with Camille in his arms
"Oh...Camille you are so beautiful..." said Alec.
All of a sudden two people came out and pulled the curtain away from the veradah.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" shouted Camille in the embrace of the shadowhunter.
"Leave me....leave me....." said Camille as the sunlight started to burn each and every corner of her body....
"Confess that you threatened Magnus to kill Alec Lightwood " said Jace standing just beside Alec.
Alec held Camille tightly as she was trying hard to escape.
Magnus came and stood beside his shadowhunter...
"Yes...yes.. I confess ....I confess ..just let me go....I will burn out..." shouted Camille in agony.
"Camille ...however powerful you become you will always remain a vampire....and the sun will always burn you...in the same way as I always remain Alexander's husband and he would always love me...." said Magnus.
Alec pulled Camille in the shade and left her. She was still screaming from burns.
Jace held handcaps in his hands.
"Come on Vampire...you needed to be taken to the infirmary first then to the Gard....keep on practising your threatenings on the walls of the prison" said Jace taking the Vampire with him to the infirmary.
In the empty office.....
Magnus looked at Alec . He came near his shadowhunter and said
"Nobody calls you Alexander ..except me...okay!"
Alec smiled and placed his lips on his warlock's agreeing with his warlock's words.
