Author's POV
The morning came shortly after all the members have finally slept off due to tiredness. But laziness couldn't be afforded as today was their second last day in Suryagarh and Taarey's coronation cum reception ceremony. All were damn excited and busy too that's why their morning started early too. The newly weds were still in their room sleeping while the whole family was up. The gang was going to wake them up but Avantika stopped them saying they both must be tired and as they have nothing to do with the preparations they can have a little more sleep.
Although all their eyes were stuck on the staircase waiting for both of them to come downstairs so that they can tease them endless. The boys gave each other an evil look at the prospect of both of them being so late, their hands raised up high in the air in their usual 'chemistry' way.
Here in taarey's room, the couple was in their deep slumber, their bodies exhausted due to the long wedding ceremony and rituals. Taani's back was plastered to his chest while his arm was trapping her in an embrace even in sleep. Their legs were entangled together.
Taani was the first who woke up, her eyes opening finally and she rubbed them shooing the tiredness away. Feeling a bit weight on her she turned and saw him sleeping peacefully, his hair all out of place. She smiled as she was now used to waking up like this, sleeping with him since they came here. Pecking his cheek slightly she saw him smiling in sleep, removing his hand she tried to get up but his hold tightened on her waist making it impossible for her. After many attempts and trying not to wake him up, she finally succeeded in removing his arm off.
Getting up she went towards the washroom. Standing in front of the mirror her cheeks immediately carried a deep shade of red. Her robe was still open hanging loosely on her shoulders while her gown was out of place too, her hair messy and lips swollen due to his numerous kisses and again those hickeys on her neck and shoulders. She cursed him thinking why he loved leaving hickeys on her all the time. If this happenes when they haven't even done the 'deed' then what will happen at that time.
She slapped her head realizing her thought have taken a slightly naughty turn. Shaking her head she did her business and taking a bath she dressed up in a outfit which looked perfect for a newly wed bride. It was a anarkali suit which was not so heavy but had a very pretty dupatta with prints. It was white and Red matching her bangles and henna.
She came out and saw him, her husband who was still sleeping hugging the pillow now on the bed. Her lips turned to a big curve seeing him unknown to herself, walking towards the mirror she dried her wet hair and combed them leaving them open. Not doing any make she just took the kohl, her bangles were continuously tinkling making sounds which broke his sleep. His eyes opened and the first thing he saw was her standing in front of the mirror applying kohl in her eyes. Taking the lip gloss she applied it and wore her earrings and she was done. All the while he was just staring at her getting ready.
She was going to take the wedding chain when a hand stopped her mid way she looked at him smiling at her through mirror standing behind her. He bend down and took the wedding chain and keeping her hair aside made her wear it again kissing her neck. He was going to walk away to the washroom when she stopped him,
"Kaam pura to kijiye."
He gave her a confused look, she bend down and picked up the vermillion box forwarding it to him and pointed with her eyes.
"Ohh, sorry, bhul gaya."
He said sheepishly before taking a pinch of it and filled her hairline kissing her forehead again.
"Good morning!"
Taani smiled at him kissing his cheeks wished him in return.
"You go freshen up, we are already late. I'll take your clothes out."
She told him making him sigh,
"To kya hua, vese bhi everyone knows why we are late. I mean unke brains mein kya chal raha hai mujhe ye bhi pata hai. We should be ready for some teasing."
Taani made a sulking face and he chuckled at her expressions before saying,
"By the way if you don't want to prove them right, you better hide those."
He pointed towards her neck, Taani looked at the mirror completely forgetting about them and soon hid the marks with some make up. Till then Rey too went to get bath.
Rey came out of the bathroom just in his jeans and saw her looking at some shirts with a confused face, hugging her from back he held her in his arms resting his chin on her shoulders.
"Whatcha thinking?"
He asked making her sigh cutely,
"I have decided on the blazer but I am confused in between these shirts, aap white blazer ke sath white shirt pehenge ya black?"
She asked him not able to decide first putting the white shir in front and then black.
"Jaan, you are a fashion designer, you are asking me for fashion advice."
He asked her amused to which she turned in his arms, his hands still on her waist but she was facing him now.
"Rey, I am good at designing clothes, not at deciding them. Moreover both are good combinations that's why I am confused."
"Hmm" He said looking at both the shirts in her hand and then her outfit before finally saying, "Let's chose the white one, it will go with your outfit."
Agreeing she put the black one down and passed the white one to Rey along with his blazer. After he was done wearing it she was going but he pulled her back, her chest collided with his, their bodies plastered to each other.
"You look so adorable when you are confused, specially with that pout on your face. That I just want to..." He left the sentence in middle, she raised her brows,
"Want to?"
He smirked before bending down and taking her lips into a deep kiss startling her. She was still in shock with the sudden kiss and her eyes closed automatically. He pulled her closer by her waist, kissing her softly first and then nibbling her lips. Her hands clutched his collars in a fist and she soon started participating too. He tried to open her mouth and enter it, she did what he wanted and soon their tongues got entangled with each other.Her grip on his collar went firm because of lack of breath, he pulled back realizing her condition and placed a light peck on her soft lips. They were breathing heavily holding on to each other. She hugged him tightly and he returned the hug hiding his face in her hair letting her scent embrace him.
"Now this is a good morning."
He said after pulling back from the hug and again pecked her lips lingering there for a little while. Taani smiled shaking her head before cleaning the corner of his lips where a little shade of her lip gloss could be seen, he smirked seeing her flush and pecked her cheeks making her giggle. He kept giving small pecks on her cheek sometimes nuzzling his nose there and bit her cheek lightly,
"Rey stop!"
She said giggling continuously because of his teasing.
"Fine, I will, but give me a kiss." He said still nuzzling his face in her cheek. He expected her to deny straight away due to her shy nature but she completely took him by surprise giving a peck on his lips.
His eyes went wide at her kiss, she laughed seeing his expressions before giving him a smirkful smile,
"What! Can't I kiss my husband."
"You can but iske baad jo hoga uski responsible tum ho." He told her smirking, she was asking something,
"Ky.."
But before that he kissed her again, it was as if he could not get enough of her. Last night only they had their first kiss and till now they must have shared numerous. He became so addicted to her and same was with her, leaving her shy nature behind she could not help but act shameless and passionate kissing him so freely. Or is it the feeling that he is her husband now and she can kiss him whenever she wants without caring what anyone thinks. It was like she has that right now, on his love and everything. Yes they have shared moments of love before marriage too but she was never this open or comfortable.
It's like yesterday in the wedding, not only their hearts but souls, bodies and everything bonded together. She was feeling like a person who is addicted to something, and that something being his love and his kisses. She wasn't hesitating in showering her love over him too which made him so happy seeing how comfortable she is with him like this. Physical intimacy is very important aspect of a relationship specially marriage as it makes the bond grow more strong, and being so close to him she was comfortable that clearly showed she trusts him with her everything. This thought actually made his chest swell with pride and happiness.
After having enough of each other they finally broke apart, their foreheads leaning into each others, he murmured breathing heavily caressing her cheeks,
"I can never get tired of this, even till the moment I die."
Her eyes snapped open at his words, her hands going towards his lips, she shook her head asking him not speak like this,
"Rey, kal hi humari shaadi hui hai. Plz don't talk about dieing."
Rey nodded his head hugging her tightly knwing his words has upset her, he cursed himself for making her sad. So trying to lighten the moment he spoke up,
"Jaan, I don't mind staying with you like this whole day,but abhi tumne hi kaha na sab niche wait kar rahe honge."
Breaking the hug she nodded, correcting her lip gloss and checking themselves they finally went out of their room and down the staircase where they could see their whole family sitting together and talking.
"Good morning everyone!"
Rey wished catching everybody's attention, they all smiled at Taarey seeing them coming holding each other's hand.
"Good afternoon newly weds!"
Vicky said pointing towards the wall clock which showed 12 o'clock, all of them looked at the couple with a smirk when Shakti asked them,
"Rey, Taani, so late yr. Aisa kya kar rahe the ki itna late ho gaye."
Taani blushed at his statement and Rey gave him a deadly look, they took the elders blessing who was feeling out of the world seeing their kids together, so happy and in love.
"Nothing, bas we were tired so late uthe."
Rey answered giving all of them a challenging look to tease them any further which all took seriously and stopped there itself knowing they should not lock heads with Rey unless they want to become a prey to any of his master plans.
All were talking to each other when a butler told them that lunch is ready. Ragini spoke after the butler went away,
"Chlo, lunch karte hai, fir Rey-Taani ki baki rituals bhi to karni hai."
They had their lunch along with loads and loads of gupshup and teasing for the bride and groom. After they were done taarey were made to sit in the living room beside each other and a big bowl was kept in front of them filled with milk and rose petals.
"Now time for our favourite rasam."
Jeevika said clapping her hands and all the youngsters cheered along,
"Rey Taani main ism eek ring daalungi, you have to search it. Best of three and whoever does it will rule in relationship."
Sneha told them and they nodded at her happily. Soon all the girls were on Taani's side cheering her and all the boys on Rey's.
"Chal Rey, you can do it. Hum nahi jeete to kya hua, tu jeetega."
Shivaay said and his brother laughed along with him remembering that their wives won in this ritual.
"Ohho Shivaay bhaiya, aap sab nahi jeete to Rey kaise jeet sakta hai."
Simmi said smirking and Anika supported her saying,
"Hanji, Taani chlo tumhi jeetna, inko khidkitod jawab denge."
Elders were enjoying their blabber when rey stopped all of them,
"Ab hum dhoondhe, if you guys are done."
"Haan"
They all gave a go ahead and taarey dipped their hands in the bowl. They were searching for the ring when Taani smiled happily and brought the ring out from the bowl. The girls cheered for her more and the guys sulked.
"Koi nahi, two more rounds are there. Rey buck up."
Nil told him patting his back. This time Rey too came into competitive spirit and both again started searching for the ring. Their hands were touching sometimes when Taani smirked at him Rey knew she found the ring but before she could show it to all he caressed her feet with his, her breath hitched suddenly and the ring again dropped in the bowl which Rey took out of the bowl showing everyone.
This time the boys cheered, Taani gave him an angry look while he kept a straight face, too innocent as if he didn't do anything.
"Arre, last round, ab to pata chal hi jaega ki kiski chalegi."
Sharon said and cheered for Taani, in last round they both started searching for the ring. It was taking them time but they were trying their best. Loud cheers were coming from both sides, girls and boys giving each other tashan vala looks and bickering continuously. Taarey were busy searching for the ring when suddenly their fingers touched something together. They looked at each other amused, their hands close to each other and their fingers entwined on the same thing.
"Kya hua, tum dono ruk kyun gaye. Mil gayi kya kisi ko ring?"
Amar asked them, taarey looked at each other with a big smile before raising their hands together out of the bowl and their fingers holding the ring from both side. They have searched the ring together in last round making them equals.
Everyone present there cheered for the couple and the elders blessed them. Rey made Taani wear the ring.
"Wow, ye maine pehli bar dekha hai. Ring dono ko sath main mili."
Viren said amused and all the others nodded agreeing. Soon it was evening, they didn't realise when the time passed away in all the rituals. It was taarey's coronation time.
All went to their rooms to get ready. Rey took his outfit and entered the wardrobe to get ready while Taani dressed up in the room itself. Almost after half n hour Rey exited the wardrobe and his steps halted in his place seeing her standing in front of the mirror dressed in an ivory coloured lehenga and looking like a true queen. Her hair open and minimal jewellery as always along with her vermillion, bangles and wedding chain. Her face had subtle make up. His heart skipped a beat seeing her. She felt someone's eyes on her and turned to see him standing there staring at her. She smiled lovingly at him, huggng and exchanging some compliments they soon went down for the ceremony.
Guests were as usual sprawled around the room but this time most of them were not business associates but common public too was there. Although proper security check was done for safety reasons. Taarey greeted everyone present their, meeting each and every person together, chatting freely that people didn't felt like they were talking to royals.
Soon Taarey were sitting on the stage together when Ranvijay made the announcement of Rey taking his place, both in the party and as a ruler. Avantika did their tilak, feeding them sweets and finally Rey was asked to give a speech. Taani assured him holding his hand, blinking at him giving him some comfort.
Rey stood up and taking the microphone addressed the people and talked whatever was in his heart.
(Guys, skipping the speech and coronation is not detailed as I really want to finish with these chapters soon and send them back to Mumbai to start their married life. So plz imagine some good speech.)
After Rey was doen he came back to where Taani was sitting, she kept her hand on his which was to hard to notice,
"You were amazing!"
"You think so?"
He asked her anxiously and she gave him a big grin causing him to mirror her expressions.
"All the people are looking very happy with you, and Mom-Dad are beaming in pride. Isse zyada or kya chahiye."
She told him cutely when he looked in her eyes,
"You! Tum or tumhari happiness chahiye. Are you happy with me, and proud of me."
Her gaze filled with love at his words, they were staring at each other and to lighten the mood Taani said in attitude tone,
"Any doubts sir?"
They laughed at her face expressions and the night soon passed away with them meeting people, their business associates and eating and drinking.
