Tory decided to drive to the therapist. I asked her if she wanted me to drive, but she insisted that she would drive.

I think it helps calm her mind when she drives. I know she's thinking about a lot and whatever helps her, then I'm here for it.

Grabbing her hand, I smile at her when she looks over at me then back at the road. I sigh as I look out the window and wondered if this woman was going to help Tory.

I want her to get help and I know she wants help too. I can see that she hates feeling like this and constantly thinking about her past.

Thinking about all of this, I really wish she would have told me earlier in our relationship. I would have understood a lot more, but I understand why she didn't tell me.

She mentioned that she was trying not to think about it as we were starting our relationship. She said she didn't want me to see that side of her, but she also said that it was hard to do when those past thoughts would resurface.

After driving a few minutes, I look over at her as she was looking at the road. "Where exactly is it?" I ask. I look over at the GPS on the screen in the car then saw that we were pretty close to it.

"It's here in town." She glances at the screen then back at the road. "We're six minutes away."

It was pretty cool how a therapist was over here in town. I wasn't sure if it was a private little office or an office closer to the city.

When I did see that it was over here, I was a little surprised.

Looking out the window, Tory turns down a road and I lean up to look around. I noticed that it was a regular road and there were houses with kids playing outside.

I looked around some more and saw a few kids outside, along with a few women watching them and I noticed something when I looked around a little more..

I didn't see any men at all.

Unless they're inside or somewhere else, but I saw a little girl playing under a water hose and a two women outside with her watching her.

Then I saw another woman outside washing a motorcycle.

Down the road a little more, I saw a girl who looked to be in her teens, checking the mail but I swear I didn't see any guys on this road.

I look over at Tory as she was focused on driving, then I looked at the screen and saw the destination coming up but when I looked around some more, we were still surrounded by houses.

"Are we at the right place?"

Tory looks at me then at the screen. "It says we're almost there, so yeah."

"Did you type the address in right?"

"Yes. Why?"

I shrug before looking around some more. "It looks like a regular neighborhood." I look around before Tory started slowing down.

"This is the place." She spoke, which made me look at the screen then at the house we were pulling up at.

I looked up at the house then around at the other houses and noticed that this house looked a little older than the rest of them. It made me wonder how old this place was, cause every other house on the street was fairly newer.

We both got out and I looked around before walking with Tory to the front door. She knocked then we waited as I heard a car go by then a few kids down the road playing.

"I like this neighborhood." Tory spoke, which made me look at her. She was looking around then looks at me and smiles. "I noticed there were a few kids outside when we drove by."

Nodding, I heard the door open then a woman stood there and smiled at us. "Hello. Are you here to see Tonia?"

"Yes." Tory said.

The woman opens the door more then allows us to walk in. "Come in." After she shut the door, she walks in front of us. "I'm her wife, Crystal."

"I'm Tory and this is my girlfriend Carter." She smiles as we walk into a living room.

"I'll get Tonia. You may have a seat." She smiles then walks down a hall and disappears.

Tory and I both sit on the couch and I watch as she was looking around until her eyes met mine. She slightly smiles before grabbing my hands. "I'm a little nervous."

"It's ok." I reassured her.

She looks at me for a moment before sighing. "I just don't.." She stops then shuts her eyes and I held her hand tighter.

"If it makes you feel any better, I can stay out here." I watch as she looks over at me and I smile. "I'll let you be alone with her."

"Thank you." She smiles then lifts my hand and kisses it.

After a moment, Crystal walks back in with a woman following her. I watch as she walks around her then towards us and smiles. "I'm Tonia." She holds out her hand as Tory gets up and walks to her.

I stand up also as they were introducing each other. I took this opportunity to look this woman over, wondering how well she was as a therapist and if she even knew what she was doing.

"If you don't mind me asking," I spoke. "how long have you been a therapist?"

Tonia smiles then looks over at her wife. "Let's just say I've been doing this for a while. You have nothing to worry about." She holds out her arm and smiles at Tonia. "Follow me."

Tory looks at me for a moment before following Tonia through the hall and they disappeared. I sat back down and saw Crystal walking towards me before smiling.

"Do you want something to drink?"

"Water is fine." I smile.

She walks out of the living room and I look around, taking the wallpaper in and everything else that was around me.

It was a nice little house. It wasn't nothing too much and it was simple.

I also noticed that when I walked in the door, I instantly felt like this was home. It had a warm feeling to it that brought you in with open arms.

When Crystal came back, she handed me a water then sat down on the couch. "Thank you." I smiled as I opened the bottle then took a sip. "I like your home."

"Thank you." She smiles. "We've lived here for years."

"How long have you two been married?"

She sighs then leans back. "My gosh," She chuckles. "I would have to say this year will be our fifty fourth anniversary."

My eyerows rose. "Wow. What's your secret?"

I watch as she smiles then looks around. "I would have to say there isn't a secret. It's been nothing but an amazing fifty four years."

"That's amazing." I was in complete shock. "You both look really young."

"Age doesn't exist to us."

I gave her a confused look then leaned up a little. "What do you mean?"

She smiles then places her hands in her lap. "We don't focus on our age. We don't really look at how old or young we are, so therefore age doesn't exist."

Looking at her, I was a little confused then nodded. "Ok. Do you celebrate birthdays?"

"Of course." She smiles.

We talked for a little longer and it was pretty cool to know about them a little better. I think getting to know someone and understanding everything they do is the best solution instead of worrying about how they are beforehand.

Tory's POV

I walked out of the office as Tonia was behind me. She gave me a few napkins as I was wiping my eyes, chuckling at how embarrassed I felt for crying in front of her.

When we walked into the living room, I saw Carter sitting on the couch with Crystal. She looks over at me and I instantly smiled as she stood up and walked towards me.

"How was it?" She asks as she looks over at Tonia.

Nodding. I smile at her then look at Tonia. "It was great."

"I think she had a breakthrough." Tonia patted my back and smiled at us. "Do you want anything to drink?"

Carter hooked her arm with mine as we walked into the kitchen with them. We sat at the table as Tonia was making us some drinks. She walked over and handed us two cups before sitting across from us.

"So," Carter started. "she helped?" She asked me.

Looking over at Tonia, I couldn't help but smile as I look back over at my girlfriend. "Yes."

They started talking about what Tonia and I had talked about earlier. I honestly couldn't get over the fact that everything we were speaking about was calming and it actually made sense.

I thought the whole therapist thing was stupid and never really believed in it.

I remember Maddie tried getting me to talk to someone a few years, but I always didn't want to because I didn't like talking to someone about my problems and I didn't really think it'll work.

Carter looks over at Tonia for a moment. "So, you're the real deal?"

Tonia laughs then nods. "Yes."

"I guess Kayla was right."

I look over at Carter and she looks at me, but I only smile then look at Tonia. "Thank you so much. You helped me out a lot."

"Anytime, sweetie."

"So, how old are you?" Carter asks.

I slightly slap her arm then scowled her before turning my attention to Tonia. "I'm sorry."

She chuckles. "No, it's ok." She looks over at Carter. "I'm pretty young, sweetheart."

Smiling, I really did find them both amazing people. I honestly didn't know what kind of people they were going to be, but I knew that they were great people the moment I walked into this house.

We all talked a little longer. I found out that Tonia and Crystal has been married for fifty four years, which was amazing. They lived here almost their whole lives as soon as Tonia's daughter was born, who was now married and had kids of her own.

It was amazing to hear their story, which really made me feel connected to them.

Saying goodbye to them, I honestly felt better. I could of talked to someone years ago, but I wasn't sure if it would have been the right way to go or if I would have even been able to handle explaining things.

"What did you say to her?" Carter asks as I was pulling out of the driveway.

I look over at her as she was watching me, then I look back at the road. "Just things."

"You're not going to tell me, are you?"

Smiling, I glance over at her for a moment. "It's private." I watch as she looks out the window and I slip my hand into hers then hold it over the console. "I love you."

"I love you." She looks at me. "So, you're ok now?"

I look at the road then over at her before smiling. "I feel better. I understand things better and what Tonia told me has really opened my eyes to things."

"So, having Kayla as a friend.." Carter started, which made me look over at her.

Thinking for a moment, I knew that Carter wasn't going to do anything. I also knew that if Kayla tried anything, Carter wouldn't give in to anything she does.

Smiling, I squeezed her hand. "It's fine with me." She smiles and it made me smile.

Looking around this neighborhood, I saw a few kids outside playing and couldn't help but smile. I look over at Carter as she was watching the kids also, and I squeezed her hand until she looks at me.

"We need to talk about starting a family." I look at the road then glance over at her as she was watching me. "Whenever you're comfortable."

"Anytime is fine with me, Tory. But I want to be married first." She looks at me then lifts our hands up before kissing the back of mine.

Smiling, I drove out of the neighborhood then back home.

Feeling a whole lot better.

-

As I was sitting at the counter, I was watching a video on my phone that Jamie sent me. I look over at Tory as she was sitting on the couch with Piper in her lap. I smiled as I looked back at my phone before hearing someone knock on the door.

Tory got up to walked over to the door and opened it, revealing Maddie. She was holding a bag as she smiled then walked in.

I watched as she was walking in a little before turning around to Tory. "How are ya'll?" She looks over at me then at Tory.

"Good." Tory crosses her arms. "I went to the therapist today."

Maddie's expression was priceless. "No way." She placed the bag down then walked over to Tory and pulled her into a hug. "What happened? How did it go?"

As they were talking, I looked over at the bag then squinted my eyes as there was a box sticking up and I read the top of it.

XXX Mart

Staring at it, I heard Maddie then she walks back to the bag and picks it up. "So.. I got you both something." She glances at me before smiling at Tory.

"What?" Tory asks.

Maddie holds onto the bag then looks at Tory. "Remember how you told me that you both were trying new sex things.. like positions and everything."

Tory looks over at me then apologizes with her eyes before looking back at Maddie and nods. "Yes."

I watch as she holds the bag out to Tory, watching Tory grab it then looking at it before pulling out the box. I watch as she turned it over and was staring at it with an expression I couldn't read.

Maddie chuckles. "It's a strap-on."

I glanced over at Tory as she was holding the box, examining it. "I know what it is, Maddie." She was turning it over and looking at it at different angles before she looks over at me. "What do you think?" She walks over and hands me the box.

Looking at it, I was a little caught off guard. It felt weird holding it and seeing one in person. It was also more embarrassing since Tory and Maddie was watching me.

"I bought it cause I just figured you would want to try something new."

"No, I get it. We'll definitely use it."

I look up to see Tory looking at Maddie, then I look over at Maddie as she glances at me before chuckling. "Ok well, I'm going to go. I don't want to know how it goes or whatever. Just have fun." She hugs Tory before looking at me and smiling. "Bye!"

After she left, I placed the box on the counter and Tory walks over and grabs it. I watch as she looks at it before looking at me. "Well?"

I look at her then at the box. "We can use it."

She smiles before placing the box on the counter then leaning over before cupping my face and kissing me. She pulls back then caresses my cheek. "If you're nervous, it's ok."

I wouldn't admit to her that I was nervous, although I was a little.

Looking at her, she smiles before grabbing the box and walking upstairs. I sat there and thought for a moment before looking at my phone to see Kayla messaging me.

Haven't talked to you in a few days.. I'm sorry about everything. Um.. we should talk.

I texted her back before placing my phone in my pocket and walking upstairs.
