Hickey
It took us a moment before I decided to go. Tiningnan ko pa talaga ang restroom at sumama pa siya sa pagdududang buburahin ko ang marka ko roon.
It was indeed there. Hindi ko alam kung kailan iyon mawawala kung hindi lilinisan.
"Clean it, Royce," baling ko sa kanya.
Ngumisi siya.
"Nakakahiya kapag may kliyente o ka meeting ka rito."
"Hindi naman 'yan mapapansin."
"Pero-"
"Why don't we just go and check your office if it's already clean?"
Sabay higit niya sa akin palayo roon. Inayos ko pa ang damit ko.
"We'll go home together," bilin niya bago binuksan ang pintuan.
Pagkalabas ay bahagyang bumagal ang lakad niya. Nakasunod lang naman ako kaya bumagal din ako dahil doon.
Inaayos ko ang butones ng suit ko nang nakita kong sino ang tumayo galing sa sofa ng lobby. At first I thought she was familiar. But eventually I realized that she was that woman I searched for.
Attorney Lavender Soledad!
She's wearing a powder blue suit paired with slacks. Naka mababang ponytail ang buhok. She's actually pretty and mature-looking. She has sexy doe eyes and nude thin lips. Mas matangkad din sa akin, hindi lang dahil sa heels niya. She slowed down when she saw me while I continued walking instead, iniwan si Royce.
"Ah, Mr. Solarez, tatawag po sana ako kasi kadarating lang ni Attorney," ang sekretarya na pumagitna. "Nasabi ko po kasi na cancel nga iyong last meeting mo-"
"Sky..." pigil ni Royce nang tuloy-tuloy ang lakad ko at inignora ang pagkikita nila.
I stopped and looked back. Titig na titig na si Lavender Soledad sa akin.
"Bababa ako. I'll just check my office," sabi ko. "I have other things to do."
Kahit ang totoo, wala naman talaga. Dumiretso na ako sa elevator. I didn't look back aand immediately went in. Sinarado ang pintuan at bumaba na para sa aking opisina.
She comes here, huh? Para saan naman kaya? We have a company lawyer. Siya ba 'yon? I should check!
Why should I check? So what, right?
Hindi siguro siya ang company lawyer namin. O kahit sa kompanyang ito. At kung siya man, I don't think he'd meet up with her that way.
I have the urge to check if she was our company lawyer. Pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko dahil sa pride. I feel like if I did that... I'm affected.
Umalis na si Jun at malinis na ang opisina ko nang bumalik ako. Binati ako ng team sa labas pero nagmamadali na rin sila dahil malapit na ang out.
Wala naman talaga akong gagawin na. Ang sabi nI Royce, sabay daw kaming uuwi. It's only ten minutes to go before time. Kadarating lang ni Lavender Soledad at baka matagalan sila. I shouldn't hope so much. I should just go home alone and contact the company driver.
Bukod sa kompanya, ano pa kaya ang ibang dahilan kung bakit nakikipagmeet si Royce sa isang lawyer? He also met up with her last night, right? Kaya siya natagalan? I remember him replying to her that they will meet up once we come back. Nakapagkita na sila kahapon. Ngayon ulit?
I groaned and just did my make up to get some things out of my head. Pagkatapos noon ay tatawag na sana ako para sa driver nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan. Iniluwa noon si Royce. Naibaba ko na lang tuloy ang cellphone ko.
"I can call for the coach," paliwanag ko dahil baka iniisip niyang hindi ko alam paano.
Inalam ko siyempre kahapon para sa susunod makakaalis na ako kung kailan ko gusto. May numero ako ng company driver para mahatid ako kung saan saan.
"Hindi na. Sabay na tayong umuwi."
"Oh! Okay..."
Inayos ko ang mga gamit ko pero naiisip ko na kung magtatanong pa ako tungkol sa kung anong nangyari sa ka-meeting niya, that would be a red flag. Ano naman ngayon? I don't think they did it now. Katatapos lang namin, e. I cleared my throat to stop smirking.
And if they have a past or even whatever, I don't care.
Tahimik kaming bumaba. Pumasok sa sasakyan niya at tumulak na pauwi.
"May gusto ka bang dinner tonight? I can cook. Or do you want us to order something you want?"
I shrugged. "Kahit ano. Ikaw ang bahala."
"How's work?"
Overall it was a good drive home. Pinag-usapan namin ang inaayos kong renovation sa isang hotel namin. At na nalinisan na naman ni Jun ang office ko. He also suggested that we use the conference room if there is a meeting to keep my place clean at all times. I have to agree but I can't help it when it's all spontaneous.
"Bukas, kung makita ko si Jun. I'll apologize..." he trailed off.
Nagulat ako at nilingon siya. Bumukas ang elevator door kaya tumango na lang ako at ngumisi.
"You should. Buti naisipan mo."
He smirked.
Lumakad na kami patungo sa pintuan. He opened it but he let me enter first. I went to the living room immediately para makaakyat na sa kuwarto ko.
"You sure you have no specific food for dinner?"
"Nah. Ikaw na ang bahala. Maliligo lang ako," sambit ko bilang paalam at umakyat na.
Pumasok ako sa kuwarto ko at nagsara ng pintuan. Hinubad ko ang stilettos at naghubad na rin ng jewelries. Damn, I probably smell. Buti na lang at patapos na ang trabaho noong ginawa namin iyon.
Naghubad na rin ako ng damit. This room didn't have a walk in closet like my room in our mansion but I'm not complaining. It's as comfortable naman. I put away my dirty clothes and went in the bathroom when I heard a knock.
"Hay. Kahit ano nga, e..." sabi ko at sinuot na lang muna ang puting tuwalya, ayaw madungisan ang bathrobe.
I went to the door and opened it a bit. Madilim ang tingin ni Royce na nakatayo sa pintuan.
"Anything," I said without even knowing his question.
"Pasok ako..." aniya.
I paused a bit, confused. Pero sa huli, pinapasok siya at inisip ko na may kailangan lang siya.
"Bakit? Hindi pa ako tapos maligo."
My eyes drifted on his hand. He's removing his silver wristwatch. Nilapag niya sa maliit na cabinet.
"I'll take a bath with you."
My eyes widened a fraction when I realized what he's up to. This is why his eyes are darkened and he had a mysterious look on his face. I smirked. I want to play along and stop being too nervous about it.
"Hmm. Ano naman ang gagawin natin sa banyo?"
"Take a bath?" nagtaas siya ng kilay at ngumisi na rin.
He's now removing his dress shirt. Nang nakita ko na ang katawan niya, napalunok ako.
"Nag-order ako ng dinner. I'll cook next time," he said.
"Alright... Ano? Sasabunan mo ang likod ko?" patuya kong tanong. "O may iba pa?"
"Sasabunan ang likod mo. Maliligo nga, 'di ba? Stop thinking about other things, Sky..." he said smirking.
"Okay..." kibit balikat ko, kunwari naniniwala ako.
I went inside my bathroom. That's when I realized that it's weird. Our first time, I can barely remember it but I know he was really good. Dim din ang lights noon. Sunod ay iyong sa airplane. Maliwanag man pero hindi kami halos nagtanggal ng damit, pati rin kanina.
I wear skimpy clothes, and sexy bikinis... pero bakit parang bigla akong kinabahan ngayong maliwanag at wala nang saplot.

"You gave me hickeys!" sabi ko at natantong iyon ang tinitingnan niya kanina at ngayon, nag-iisip yatang mawawala iyon kung sasabunan niya!
"Not intentionally. Nagulat lang din ako nang nakita ko 'yan-"
"Anong not intentionally? I used to have those on the neck from a suitor! Kaya imposibleng unintentional!"
"Huh? Kailan?" his thick brows furrowed.
"Noong highschool!"
Nagtaas siya ng kilay.
"Imposibleng unintentional!"
"Gaya nang sabi mo, highschool. You think I'm some highschooler who wants to give you a hickey? Of course not. Kaya hindi ko 'yan sinasadya."
Hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ako sa kanya.
"We'll buy clothes tomorrow and choose something more conservative, hindi 'yong tube-"
"So, you really did this intentionally? Kasi ayaw mong nagtube ako?!"
"I said, I didn't, okay? Tingin mo talaga highschool pa ako? I don't care if you wear your tube tops! But you should agree that you can't for now, since you have hickeys?"
Ang gagong 'to! Bumaba ulit ang tingin ko sa dibdib ko. Marami iyon. Not just one hickey. Buti na lang at weekend kaya may dalawang araw ako! At hindi rin naman talaga kita kung hindi tube ang suot ko!

"I don't know with you?!" duda pa rin ako.
He sighed and put on some shampoo on his hair. Tinitigan niya ako.
"Hindi ko nga sinadya. I'm sorry, alright. What can I do to make it up to that?"
"Sinadya mo 'to-"
"Hindi nga. Kung sinadya ko 'yan, sa Sunday ko ginawa para sa Monday, hindi ka makakapag tube. Besides, you have your suit. Hindi naman kita ang suot mo, kung hindi tatanggalin iyon kaya bakit ko pa iisipin iyon? And it's not as if I am stopping you from wearing sexy clothes so why else would I do that?"
"Baka wala lang? Maybe you just want a mark or something? Mahilig ka pa naman sa marka."
He chuckled. "No, Sky. My family name on you is enough of my mark. No need to prove anything to anyone."

"I'm sorry, okay. I didn't expect you to have hickeys from those kisses. I got carried away and probably sucked you a little to hard."
My eyes narrowed. "Totoo ba?"
"Yes. I was just excited. Hindi ko sinasadya 'yan. Let's put some compress after this bath, okay?"
Ngumuso ako at bumaba ang tingin sa leeg niya.
"I want to get even, though."
"Huh?"
"Lagyan kita ng hickey sa neck."
He snorted and washed our hair. "We're not fucking highschoolers, stop it. Oo na at may kasalanan na ako..."
"You said you want to make it up to this? Kaya... gusto ko may hickey ka rin."
He sighed. Bumaba ang balikat niya at tumingin sa akin.
"Ayaw mo na?"
"Hindi ko naman sinadya 'yan."
"Oh, hindi nga pero andyan! At ang dami!"
"Fine. One hickey!" suko niya.
Umiling ako. "Uh... three?"
He groaned and washed my hair more. Abala siya sa ginagawa pero hindi ko palalagpasin 'to.
"You said you'll make it up to me?"
"Fine!" iritado niyang sinabi. "What else do you need for this bath?"
Ngumisi ako at bumaba ang tingin sa leeg niya.
"Conditioner..." I trailed off.
He sighed. Inabot niya ang conditioner ng buhok ko. Tumingkayad ako at sinamantala ang pagbaba niya ng kaunti.
"Crouch more..." utos ko para maabot nga ng mabuti ang gusto kong lagyan ng hickey.
I was kissing his neck when he sighed.
"This is so unfair. I can't cover that."

He was groaning as he washed off the conditioner on my hair. Abala pa rin ako sa halik. Pagkatapos ng isa, sinunod ko pa ang isa sa baba ng tainga niya para medyo nakatago.
"I'll just say we have blood suckers here or something. A really big and hot bloodsucker."
Napangisi ako habang ginagawan siya ng pangatlo dahil sa sinabi niya.
"If I catch that blood sucker, I'm gonna fucking eat her," he whispered on my ear.
Tumigil ako. Malaki rin ang huli. I smiled, satisfied now. Namumungay ang mga mata niya habang tinitingnan ako.
