I stepped off the train onto the cold cement, pulling my trunk behind me. I looked around at the wonderful atmosphere surrounding me; it was great to be back. Suddenly I felt warm lips upon my right cheek, and then I turned to see Blaise running past me into his group of friends which were laughing. I started walking towards the carriages.
"Blaise, what the hell?" Draco muttered, elbowing his stomach as I walked past. I waited for an empty carriage to join. My friends had gone on without me. There was only one carriage left, and I bet you can guess who was in it.
"Ahh, look who came to join us." Draco smiled. "Here, you can sit next to me." He scooted over a bit. It was the only available seat in the carriage, so I had to take it. I didn't answer any of their comments. I quietly sat down next to Draco. "Sorry about Blaise Nyx. He's a bit desperate for love should I say." I chuckled under my breath a little bit.
"I am not!" Blaise shouted suddenly, his smile turning into a frown. I looked at him then looked away. "So, did you two get any together this summer?" He asked biting his bottom lip. I could here Crabbe and Goyle 'ooh'.
"Excuse me?" I stared at him with wide eyes.
"Well I just thought, you two together, in that big house of yours Draco, you'd be gettin' it on." He raised his eyebrows quickly two times.
"Shut up Blaise." Draco fired. They all giggled except me and Draco. We finally got to the castle. I jumped out quickly with my trunk and sped walked all the way down to my dormitory. I'm a Slytherin, so I go down to the dungeons. I made sure all my things were in order, and then walked to the Great Hall for sorting and the feast. We first listened to some students sing a song with their large toads.
"Welcome students, to a new year at Hogwarts. We professors hope you had a delightful summer. First, we want to give a round of applause to our new Care of Magical Creatures professor, Hagrid. And second to our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Lupin." There was a round of applause. "There is a little bit a change of rules this year, since the dementors will be protecting our school, you are to stay as far away from them as possible and that's that. Now for the sorting, Professor McGonagall will lead this." Professor Dumbledore smiled taking a seat. The sorting was like always, a wee bit boring, but exiting when we get a new Slytherin. The sorting was finally through with and Dumbledore once again rose from his seat. "Now, let the feast begin!" He smiled once more. Food filled every inch of each long table. I sat alone at the end of the table, but closest to my Gryffindor friends. We all snickered with excitement, telling each other about our summers. Ron had gone to Egypt! It was even in the papers.
"Nyx, what did you do this summer?" Seamus, an Irish Gryffindor friend of mine asked. I shrugged slightly then got interrupted by Malfoy.
"Yeah Nyx, what did you do this summer?" He asked intensively.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" I fired back glaring at him.
"Leave her alone Malfoy." Ron glared.
"And who are you to tell me what to do? I'm certainly not taking orders from a Weasley. I don't think anyone could sink lower than your family Weaslebee." He said. His friends laughed in the background. I immediately stood up.
"Leave now Malfoy." I growled. He stood up as well, getting in my face staring right into my eyes. I didn't realize how blue his were. He laughed a little.
"Make me." He shot back. Everybody started staring in our direction.
"I swear Malfoy-"I tried to whisper, but was cut off by Malfoy's lips. He leaned forward grabbing the back of my head and my waist. Everyone gasped. I hate to admit his lips were warm and soft. I quickly pushed him off and stomped out of the Hall. I was furious, but at the same time, confused. What did I feel? I whispered the common room password and raced up to my dormitory. I sat in my bed and thought. Was Hermione right? Does he like me that way, or is he just being regular Malfoy? I heard some girls coming up so I snapped out of it and acted cool. They just stared at me and continued walking, smiling a little bit. I went to my lavatory and changed into my comfy pajamas. After I decided to call it a night and closed my eyes.
