It was in the next few days after that eventful rumpus that Jimin started realizing that he was forgetting something.
And maybe that's the fact that his jerk of a husband by papers, a.k.a. Jeon-annoying-to-the-core-Jungkook is still also his screenwriting professor and second club adviser of their Drama Club.
Which brought him to another conflict at hand.
For those next days, Jungkook seemed to be back to his strict and professional demeanor. He also started to be a little pushy, demanding more paragraphs and script ideas from Jimin as he sighs disappointedly every time Jimin writes something he wasn't satisfied with.
Jungkook was never satisfied with anything Jimin writes actually.
It happened for a whole week, their previous sexual extravaganza not discussed anymore. They both got too preoccupied in finishing the initial script that they seemed to not even remember about what transpired between the two of them anymore.
Jimin was serious with his work and he means it. Although he was stressed a lot for the little inspiration that's starting to burn out again, it doesn't help that Jungkook keeps on demanding 'better' ideas from him.
"Is this it? We only have a few weeks, Jimin. Not a lifetime." Jungkook groans.
"You've been writing for the whole night and you're giving me this?" Jungkook scoffs.
"You can do better than this." Jungkook shakes his head in disappointment.
"Not enough, absolutely not." Jungkook uttered, eyebrows furrowed.
Those were all the encouraging words that Jimin had been getting for the past two weeks and he was getting tired of hearing the same things and writing something only to get it rejected the moment he finishes the beginning of it. And so he writes another set of paragraphs only for the cycle to repeat again until he's back to square one.
Jimin knows that he's writing as best as he can with the little inspiration and motivation left on him but it still wasn't enough for Jungkook. He wanted to snap at his really not helpful professor but at the same time, he also knows it himself that Jungkook was right; his ideas were not enough even for him.
He was frustrated because he actually agrees with Jungkook.
But even though Jungkook keeps on giving him shit talks about his poor storytelling and construction, he actually learns things from Jungkook no matter how hard he denies it.
Every time Jungkook points an error to what he's writing, Jungkook makes sure to explain it further to him so he would get what went wrong and why Jungkook did not like what he wrote.
It hurts since Jungkook was too straightforward and Jungkook didn't even seem to realize it. Jungkook just brutally goes straight to the point, tells him what he should change and why the paragraph he was writing was still quote, "This is crap, Jimin. Re-write this," Jungkook told him without breaking a sweat one time.
That whole two weeks was full of sleepless nights even though school days followed the morning after. Jimin just had to walk like a zombie to school and blank out most of his classes but he felt like it wasn't all for nothing after all when at the end of some days, he hears little compliments from his ruthless professor.
"Keep this paragraph. Remove the whole thing besides it though."
"This one's character. . . it's a little intriguing. Keep it. The rest of the characters; burn them in your memory."
"I like these two scenes. Just. . ." Jungkook sighs, "these two scenes."
He could count them as compliments, right? At least that's a little improvement right there.
Maybe they've also fallen into a little routine without them realizing it.
They might not both eat breakfast together and go to university at the same time even though they have the same destination everyday, Jimin still appreciates the plate of breakfast Jungkook always leaves him on the dining table every morning.
There was no cheesy notes of that sort. But just that little sweet action makes Jimin smile every morning.
In school though, everything was the same. Jungkook remains their ruthless professor, never failing to call out students who gets low scores on his quizzes and activities in front of the class to embarrass them since he said that it was a way for them to not be lazy the next time and for them to do better to save their faces.
Jimin was very glad that his name wasn't called that one time whilst Jungkook was announcing the ones who got the lowest scores. His happiness was replaced with confusion though when Jungkook asked him to remain in class as everyone starts making their way out.
Jungkook handed him his paper with a red mark of 6/25, not the lowest but still one of those who got the low scores. That's why he was confused on why he didn't hear his name get called earlier.
Did Jungkook forgot to call him out?
But his curiosity got answered when all Jungkook did was look at him with those infamous blank gaze of his.
"Do better next time or I'll post this online," was what Jungkook told him instead. He was taken aback that Jungkook might've purposely missed his name? He wasn't sure.
Unable to know what to feel, he cleared his throat after a simple utter of 'Okay' before he leaves the classroom with his things. Another faint smile decorated his lips as he walks through the hallways.
During the end of classes, Jimin also started getting this habit of texting Jungkook every time he would come home a little late. He wouldn't tell every details about where he'll go or who he'll meet that always gets Jungkook to ask him only for him to ignore it.
Jimin still gets home the moment Jungkook texts him to come home immediately though.
Because they eat dinner together.
Jimin just doesn't want to starve, don't get him wrong. It wasn't like he was anticipating eating dinner together with Jungkook because Psh, just why would he even rush home just so they could eat together, right? Disgusting.
But maybe it was also because Jungkook cooks delicious foods that never failed to satisfy his palette. Or maybe. . . it was also because Jungkook changes during evenings.
Sometimes Jungkook becomes this huge tease ball, always calling him nicknames he doesn't like that never failed to annoy him. Sometimes Jungkook becomes this strict mentor, snapping at him every chance he gets whenever he'll write something absurd.
And sometimes, although those times only come at rare nights, Jungkook becomes this still cold-hearted but a little caring decent human being. Just a little. And no, he does not appreciate it. Did not look forward to those rare times.
That one night when he didn't realize he fell asleep on his table whilst writing only to wake up in the middle of the night with a blanket covering his shoulders was one of the examples.
The night after that, he finds himself on his own bed with his laptop already closed on his table. He's pretty sure he slept on the living room couch out of tiredness that night though.
A few more nights after, he feels like his body was getting lifted so he opened his eyes a little only to close it fast. It was Jungkook's sharp jawline, chin and that familiar soap scent that gave Jungkook away.
He didn't bother to open his eyes again, even digging his entire face on Jungkook's clothed puffed chest closer without any worries since Jungkook seemed to think that he's still sleeping. He was smiling until Jungkook tucked him on his bed and left.
He should definitely sleep in the living room more often.

"Don't miss me too much." Jungkook teased, the smug grin on his sharp features making a comeback and Jimin have a lot of time to scoff.
"As if," Jimin huffs, his fingers still working on the black-tie Jungkook asked for him to help him with.
That morning, it came as a surprise to Jimin to see Jungkook still in the house dressed in formal attire. He expected Jungkook to be gone by then like always since the latter never failed to come early to university for some reason.
Seeing Jungkook with a suitcase already near the door also made him curious. When he asked Jungkook what was he up to, the latter only told him to come closer.
He was suspicious at first but with Jungkook's chuckle and an assuring, "I won't bite, Park. It's still so early in the morning to do something that should be a night's activity." It wasn't really that assuring honestly.
He only walks lazily towards Jungkook with an unamused look on his face, baffled with the dirty insinuation. His morning hair was still scattering everywhere and his face still looks a little puffy from sleep, his bedsheets making random marks on his skin.
Jungkook only pointed at his still undone black tie that hangs around his neck. Jimin rolled his eyes and was about to walk away until Jungkook offered to add points on his grade.
And that's how they got in that position, with Jimin standing a little smaller under Jungkook's taller frame and sharp gaze as he fixes Jungkook's tie around the latter's dress shirt collar.
"I'll be gone for some business trip for three weeks, you know. You sure you won't miss me?" Jungkook insisted, the smirk on his lips looking too satisfied with Jimin's every scowl.
Jimin holds back the urge to tighten the tie around Jungkook's neck to strangle the latter and get it done with. To hell with the cops and getting arrested for murder.
"I'm pretty sure I'd even call your boss to extend your stay there," Jimin fires back with still that scowl on his face. He doesn't even know what business Jungkook had to deal with. Is there another job Jungkook applied for? Was that why Jungkook work extra hours during the night in the living room some evenings? Should he ask-- Erm, whatever, it's not like it's his business anyway.
He finished fixing Jungkook's tie and stepped back only to stare at Jungkook's eyes with a sarcastic smile on his face, arms crossed over his chest.
Jungkook took that as a challenge so he also plastered his boyish grin. Jimin started getting more annoyed.
"Stop denying. Don't worry though, I'll make sure to text you a lot so you won't get lonely whilst I'm away. And you have my number anyway so--"
"I won't fucking text you," Jimin barked back a little too fast.
"I'm not asking you to text me though," Jungkook made this confused expression although it looked way too scripted to be a sincere confusion.
"I was actually hoping for a sext message." And cue Jungkook's smirk.
"What the fuck are you--!!!" Jimin's rage was cut short when Jungkook suddenly leans in for a kiss on his left cheek. It was a mere peck but it didn't fail to make Jimin's eyes widened in utter surprise at the action.
"Goodbye, wife." Jungkook whispered a little closer to Jimin's stoic face, a small smile adorning his handsome face.
Not even milliseconds in and Jimin's face started getting painted with his pink blush, eyes blinking profusely as he bites his lower lip for it to not tremble. He wanted to curse Jungkook, call him a fucker for even having the balls to call him w-w-wif--Fuck! Why can't he even say that word even in his head?!
Jungkook didn't wait for a reply and he started walking towards the door with his suitcase. When he finally opens it, he halts for a while and turns to look at Jimin who was still frozen in his place.
"Oh," Jungkook utters, "And if you dream of me, keep in mind I always top."
"I have thrust issues, you see." He ends with a wink before he completely walks out of that door.
Jimin almost falls dead on the floor.
He knew it.
He really should've used that tie as his murder weapon.

Just minutes later, when Jimin was already settled on the spacious dining table (he would have to get used to eating alone on now) with his breakfast Jungkook left for him, his phone chimes with a text message. Still yawning and scratching his belly, he clicked to open the message.

"I wasn't even asking," Jimin scoffs, about to reach for his spoon to start eating the omurice with a weirdly smiling creature drawn with a ketchup on it, his phone chimes again with other messages. He takes note of changing the asshole's nickname on his phone.

6:51 AM - And don't starve. But also DON'T cook. I don't want to come back to a burnt house.
6:52 AM - I already scheduled the food the room service should serve you. They'll come on time for your breakfast, lunch on weekends, and dinner every night so just eat them. Don't eat out in the evenings, I mean it.

6:52 AM - If you want midnight snacks, or snacks in between meals I also brought groceries. They're in fridge and in the kitchen cabinets. You'll only step there to get food and NOT make them, understood?
6:53 AM - DON'T go out when you don't need to. I have my ways to know, don't try me.

After reading every messages especially the last one, all Jimin could do was scoff in complete bewilderment. Why would Jungkook even tell him not to go out?! Who does Jungkook think he is? His father? Even his father doesn't even tell him to stay put and rot in the house!
He was about to rant a text message to Jungkook when another text from Jungkook appeared on his screen again.

6:55 AM - And also, now that I remember. I might've forgotten to tell you but we got a memo two weeks ago that our club's project would be delayed for another four months. Good news, isn't it? That means you still have 2 months for the script.

And that was enough for Jimin to stand abruptly and slam his palms on the table with his nostrils and ears emitting nonexistent anger smokes.
"THEN WHY THE FUCK WAS HE MAKING ME WORK MY ASS OFF FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS?!"

Jungkook was grinning at the back of his car, his personal chaffeur who was older than him by 30 years, Mr. Kang, was also smiling secretly since it had been too long since he saw Jungkook emitting that kind of aura again.
Jungkook's phone chimes with the message he's been waiting for. Much to his expectations, Jimin really did text him back.

He already expected that type of response but it was still more satisfying when he sees the real thing. He could already picture out a fuming Jimin with his nostrils flaring, probably cursing him profanities in the penthouse.
He can't help but smile at the thought.
He might probably miss Jimin after all.

And I don't exactly know what to think of Jungkook's character here honestly. I was the one writing about them but sometimes they seem to have a life of their own in my head 😂
But I hope you're not expecting Jimin to stay put, right? Since you'll end up getting disappointed then 😈😈
