"Would you stop crying Nova, you never realize how loud you actually are"
Pete groaned, rubbing his neck out of frustration.
Nova's cries continued with more distress and pain as she was just knocked into the headboard and he didn't even understand.
Her sobs were mixed of physical pain but also emotional because of feeling trapped by this man.
Now Pete did realize the push was a little harder than he meant to, however, he knew Nova was grown enough to handle it.
"H-head h-hurts" The teenager whimpered, as her eyes were very full of tears making his figure blurry.
"I know. You've said that about a hundred times, and I don't care anymore. Now stay fucking quiet"
Pete argued back, feeling his emotions being taken over by irritation.
His words started to represent his temper by the second.
Pete knew these cheap, motel walls were thin, and already assumed people could hear her.
"W-wanna go"
Nova whimpered, rocking in place trying to settle down her sobs, although it was very hard.
"You're not going home, Nova. In fact, I can barely do this with you. You're about to be left in this state if you keep acting up, do you hear me?"
Pete threatened, coming over to Nova. He then poked her on the chest to make sure she understand.
"No, don't w-wanna be left" Nova cried, feeling her heart drop in panic.
"Stop crying" Pete raised his voice once again.
He then grabbed one of her arms, gripping it tightly.
Nova tried to snatch it back but Pete was not letting go. His fingers were literally digging her skin.
"S-stop, hurts" Nova mumbled, trying to pull away.
"I bet everything hurts for you doesn't it? That's your excuse to get out of everything. I don't know what I was thinking taking you. You're just a whiny little bitc-"
Pete stopped his words as he got interrupted with Nova, both of them heard multiple, loud knocks on the door.
Nova only looked at Pete but he was also looking at her with pure panic in his eyes.
Pete immediately stepped back from the teenager, before putting a finger up to his lips to signal her to be quiet.
Nova only glanced back at him with complete fear in her eyes, before pulling her knees to her chest, hiding.
Pete was actually concerned because it was almost 9:30 at night, why would anyone be at their room?
More louder knocks hit the door before a loud voice boomed on the other side,
"Investigators, open up!"
"Open up now! We know you're there Pete!"
Whoever screamed banging on the door once again.
All Pete could feel was pure anxiety running through his veins. What he feared most was actually coming true.
Ideas were flying through his head as he looked at Nova and all over the room. He really had to think fast.
Suddenly, Pete ran over to Nova, picking up her body roughly. Nova flinched out of surprise not knowing what he was doing.
He then ran over to the small bathroom in the motel room.
Without thinking, he dropped Nova on the tile floor before leaving and shutting the door, quick behind him.
Nova was feeling a lot of fearful emotions as she didn't know what was happening. Plus Pete dropping her made it worse.
"Pete, open the fucking door, so I can get my fucking hands on you!"
Pete heard Zayn yell angrily on the other side.
Now Pete knew he didn't have much options and knew this was basically it for him.
Pete quickly went over to the door, opening it with nervousness.
His expression already showed how he was guilty and now unfortunately caught.
Before he could say a word, an unfamiliar guy with a badge immediately put Pete on the ground and pinned him down.
He groaned as his face was almost smushed to the ground and as his arms were now behind his back.
"Are you fucking kidding me Pete, you would seriously do shit like this after all the times you've been with us"
Liam screamed, now coming into the motel room with the rest of his band mates and security.
The five of them were furious on another type of level and that was still an understatement.
They all felt a strong sense of betrayal as Pete lied and did something so horrible to the group and their baby.
They tried not to expect this from him but now that the truth came out, it only brought outrage from each of them.
When they found out that it was Pete, they could barley think as so much anger consumed them and they didn't know what to do, except get to their angel.
"I-I was just-"
"Shut the fuck up, how dare you do this to us"
Louis yelled, trying to get closer to the man on the ground but their security had to hold him back.
Zayn also tried to come at the man on the ground but Harry had to hold him back also as he couldn't control his emotions.
Pete stayed silent as they all yelled out their anger and profanity at him while Ron was detaining him.
However, quickly, they realized where their immediate attention needed to be at.
Nova.
Everyone looked around, trying to find the teenager.
"Where is she? and I swear to God if you don't tell us-" Harry started, breathing heavily.
"She's in the bathroom" Pete quickly answered before sighing out of failure.
He was then stood up by Ron and Eric as his hands were behind his back.
Once again, everything started to bite Pete back in the ass as his one plan still failed.
All five of the men ran over to the small bathroom, slamming the door open, causing it to echo a loud noise against the wall.
Their hearts broke as they were now finally seeing their Nova, it felt almost unreal being met up with her again.
However, she was curled up in a ball by the shower and sobbing while covering her face.
Nova was so scared and overwhelmed that she still kept hiding and didn't even realize to look up and notice the men.
"Nova baby, it's daddies, babe. We're finally here, baby"
Zayn cooed with relief. They couldn't believe all the time they were missing and wondering where she was is over.
They went through hell lately and seeing her made everything better.
Nova immediately lifted up her head with a shocked expression on her face.
Nova was going through many emotions, and couldn't believe her daddies were finally here to come and get her from Pete.
These past few days were very hard for Nova and seeing her caretakers felt like a massive weight off her shoulders.
"D-daddy" Nova only said, sobbing as tears ran down her face.
Zayn rushed over and immediately picked up the younger girl, cuddling her so tight to his chest. He never wanted let go, knowing how fragile she was right now.
Nova continued to cry harder in Zayn's neck, wrapping her arms around him as well. That made all of them weak as they felt so bad for her.
"Daddies are here, angel. Everything is okay, baby. Daddies are here"
Niall repeated with no doubt, hugging her back as Nova was in Zayn's arms.
"We're here, darling don't worry. Daddies got you" Liam assured, coming closer to Zayn to kiss the side of Nova's head.
The four of them continued to surround her as they were over filled with relief and joy from finally having their little girl back.
It's been way too long.
